The New Moon this month on March 11 is in your polar sign and 7th house of relationships, Pisces, along with a veritable entourage of four planets as well as the asteroid, Chiron, a.k.a. "the wounded healer." Your sign ruler, Mercury, is amongst them and retrograde, to boot, which you have more than likely already noticed. Mercury is in both debility and fall in Pisces, self-explanatory conditions due to his sign placement which has contributed to this retrograde being so bad this time that it's laughable, even as I write this when it's only two days into it. If your birthday is right around September 12 it stationed opposite your natal Sun and you are probably feeling it. Stations pack a considerable wallop that is trying to tell you something which may be somewhat difficult to recognize. As I noted in a Facebook post a while back, Mercury RX in Pisces can have about the same effect on your judgment as too many margaritas. Thus, any important decisions should probably be postponed until at least a few days after it stations direction on the 17th. On the other hand, inspiration should be in abundance, but under this astrological influence, it could turn out similar to a DUI since it may be difficult to tell the difference between that and delusion. The frustrating part is that Virgos typically don't know how to enjoy this type of influence since you prefer to be alert and on top of things. That, however, is likely to be akin to swimming the English Channel with one arm tied behind your back.

The majority of Virgos had at least one of those planets clustered in Pisces opposing their natal Sun. Birth dates of those affected (along with a day or so on either side) include August 26 (Neptune); August 31 (Mercury); September 3 (Chiron); September 10 (Venus); September 14 (the New Moon itself); and September 22 (Mars). Theoretically you should have a whole bunch of activity in the relationship department, but it's possible you're too spaced out to notice. But under some conditions, that could be a good thing. Nonetheless, here is some of what you should look out for based on the previous information. If it's Neptune, really be on the lookout for deception, even though enlightenment or inspiration is possible. Mercury, probably confusion and brain fog, though inspiration is also possible. Chiron could likewise go either way with hurt and disappointment or possibly healing. Venus, which is in the sign of her exaltation, could bring something favorable for an existing relationship or perhaps someone new. The lunation itself may bring something or someone new into your life or perhaps a new level in an existing relationship. Mars can be adversarial but less so in Pisces, where you essentially have the land-based warrior god out in the ocean in a lifeboat. Mars is about directed action which is likely to be unclear, misdirected or generally confused.

Surprises with regard to your career which could manifest in a hectic pace with too many things to do are likely this month. Decision making will be difficult, with Mercury not only afloat but being squared by Jupiter, also in the sign of his debility in Gemini. Confusion due to too much information and the inability to concentrate is possible. Sometimes when you're suffering from stupor of thought, however, there is good reason, often that you are on the wrong track. Einstein once said that God doesn't play dice whereas I don't believe that the Universe deliberately sets out with malefic intent. It's all about lessons to be learned, attitude, and from time to time, karma. This is a time when meditation and contemplation are favored, when you can plumb the depths of your soul to find out what you really want and who you really are. Taking time to do such things with your busy schedule is often postponed indefinitely, in which case the Universe may be making a statement. With Saturn retrograde in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors as well as local travel (which is likely to be slow and cumbersome these days as well) restructuring some matters or issues in that department are being stirred up at the subconscious level already. Meditation could help you access that as well, bring about deeper self-understanding, perhaps with some transformation and ultimately make some sense of it all.

The Full Moon on March 27 is in Libra, your 2nd house of possessions, finances, needs and pleasures. Late August Virgos especially may encounter a significant change of direction at this time, but not necessarily in a bad way. Shared resources, an inheritance, or a new level of intimacy could come your way, perhaps out of the blue. Those of you with birthdays right around September 4th should pay particular attention to this lunation as well as the New Moon since various planets in both have been in the same degree as your natal Sun, albeit in different signs. Be particularly careful this month since that Piscean energy exacerbated by your sign ruler's presence there may have clouded your judgment as well as coordination. Don't take any unnecessary chances of any kind. There are numerous aspects out there which are either difficult or bring instabilities which can go either way. While several planets have moved into Aries by this time, the energy of that sign compared to Pisces could institute a bit of astrological whiplash, kind of like making a beach landing on waterskiis. Changes of some sort are highly likely this month. They won't necessarily be unfortunate, but make sure you don't do anything foolish that tips it in that direction.
