This month the New Moon on May 9 is in nextdoor neighboring house, Taurus, your 12th house of angels and demons which includes inspiration, spirituality, enlightenment, imagination, seclusion, confinement, subconscious, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. It is also a solar eclipse which will be visible along a narrow path in the South Pacific as well as parts of Northern Australia. Eclipses are a lot more powerful than the typical garden-variety lunation, mostly because the Sun and Moon are lined up. A typical astrological conjunction only means that two astrological entities are in the same zodiacal degree which is longitude only. In other words, one could be significantly above or below the other, which is a measure known as declination. Declination is important, also, but not referred to or used as much. Thus, when you have an eclipse or, for example, Venus' transit of the Sun, they are not only conjunct but parallel, the term used for being in the same declination, thus greatly multiplying the effects. Thus, eclipses are stronger and longer lasting, sometimes even manifesting before the actual eclipse.

A solar eclipse in your 12th house can operate on the subconscious level but solar eclipses usually bring events or situations your way while lunar eclipses operate more on the emotional level. This eclipse is semisextile Jupiter in your sign which should make it more apparent, especially those of you born right around June 10. In other words, Jupiter is conjunct your natal Sun which should have a lucky and expansive effect, perhaps via someone close to you whether your significant other, business partner or even besting a competitor. Venus is in your sign as well, another lucky influence. However, Venus is applying to a square with Neptune in fellow Mutable Sign, Pisces, your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status which could bring some delusions or illusions your way. Make sure you're not wearing rose-colored glasses but use the full power of your logic-driven mind to make important decisions. The eclipse in your 12th house may help with some inspiration to sort things out but make sure you're using discernment, not unjustified optimism.

Saturn is retrograde in Scorpio, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets which tends to bring delays and obstacles. Something in that part of your life needs to be restructured, especially if your birthday is right around May 29, though you may not know yet what it is. The trine to Neptune should help, again with some inspiration, with regard to this part of your life, as well as your sign ruler, Mercury, also resident in your 12th house.

Pluto continues to plod through Capricorn, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and rebirth, debt, shared resources, other people's money, and intense experiences in general. Pluto is accidentally dignified in this house since he rules the 8th in the zodiac. Thus, he knows what he's doing, even though Capricorn is not necessarily his favorite environment. Actually, Pluto doesn't seem to much care where he is, he just does his thing which is to unearth anything that needs to be resolved.

His trine to Mars, also in your 12th, has a variety of potential applications. Mars rules your 11th house of groups, friends, goals and networking as well as being the traditional ruler of your 6th of work. This hints at subconscious matters rumbling around beneath the surface related to your work or career goals which may need to be revamped, perhaps at a transformational level. Pluto and Uranus are converging on an exact square which could bring some surprises or the need for sudden change with regard to your goals or group associations. Again, there are transformational overtones though any 8th house matter could be involved. With all the inspiration you have going for you it's highly likely you'll be able to figure it out.

The Full Moon on May 24 is another lunar eclipse with this one visible in the USA while the one in April was not. At this time the Sun is in your sign and will be most influential if your birthday is right around May 26. The Sun and Moon form a T-square with Neptune which hints at some delusions relative to your status and perhaps involving a relationship. Saturn is still trining Neptune from your 6th house of work so that is a likely place for it to show up as well. Make sure you are seeing things clearly and remember Saturn is working on something related to your work or job. There may be some challenges but it looks as if you'll be able to work with it effectively.

Mercury and Venus are conjunct in your sign and on your natal Sun if your birthday is June 10, so those of you born that day have a variety of things going for you with these eclipses. Such a conjunction may relate to money but it also is an excellent time to communicate and present yourself or ideas because you are highly likely to be viewed favorably.

The Uranus - Pluto square is partile (same degree) so there's a lot of power from that which could affect your goals and require a change of direction, especially if your birthday is right around June 2. It's likely to be important, however, and ultimately make a significant difference in your life.
