The New Moon this month on October 4 is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Libra, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, subconscious, collective consciousness, inspiration, dreams, visions, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing. This lunation is part of a T-square with your modern sign ruler, Pluto and Uranus, completing the square with that long-term square between those two which will last until early 2015. If your birthday is right around November 2 - 3 you will be among those most likely to be affected by this lunation. Furthermore, Saturn is conjunct your natal Sun which should bring an opportunity through all this to assume more responsibility which could come upon you out of the blue. While a T-square is usually challenging much of it depends on how your individual natal chart is influenced. The T-square involves your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel; 6th house of work, health, service and pets; and 12th as defined earlier. While there may be some conflict involving these three areas it should nonetheless bring an opportunity for transformation and perhaps sudden change related to your employment.

Scorpio has Saturn, Mercury, Venus and the lunar North Node in residence currently, bringing a lot of diverse energy to your sign. If your birthday is right around October 30 - 31 Mercury and the North Node are conjunct your natal Sun, inviting an influx of ideas that could relate to goals with the potential to transform you in some way which will take you in a new direction as you leave something behind to make room for it. Neptune will bring a fair share of inspiration and creative energy along as well. Venus is conjunct you natal Sun if your birthday is right around November 19. This is an excellent time to present yourself, meet others and pursue spiritual endeavors such as meditation. Venus, however, is squaring your traditional sign ruler, Mars, in your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status. This suggests a few obstacles related to pursuing something you want in that venue, perhaps even a situation where your outstanding appearance works against you in some way, perhaps by provoking jealousy. This is not to say make yourself as unattractive as possible but it would probably be best not to flaunt it or use your looks or charm in a flagrant manner. Rather than emphasizing or calling attention to your looks, go for a more understated look which is more likely to be seen in a favorable way.

If your birthday is right around November 11 Jupiter is trining your natal Sun from your 9th house of higher learning, long-distance travel, relocation, other cultures, legal matters, beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, religion, politics and so forth, making it likely you'll experience something in one of those areas during this transit.

The Full Moon on October 18 is also a lunar eclipse which occurs in Aries, your 6th house of work, health, service and pets and suggests an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase in this part of your life. Eclipses have a lot more power and staying power than the usual lunation so these effects could show up over the next several months as opposed to the near term. This one is part of the 16 North family in the Saros series and has a pleasant reputation as being gentle, inspirational and providing useful and valid insights. The effect will be strongest for those of your born right around November 18 and likely to bring a change of direction. Venus has moved into Sagittarius, your 2nd house of income, possessions, needs, comforts, pleasures and what you value which is trining Uranus and thus suggesting a sudden beneficial change in this area so that job change looks as if it will come with an increase in income. Your traditional ruler, Mars, has moved into Virgo, your 11th house of goals, friends, organizations, groups, goals, hopes and wishes which will give you plenty of energy there but be careful that you keep your goals realistic or you may be disappointed. Good news is possible from your 9th house as defined earlier but there is a caveat involved in that Mercury is getting ready to station retrograde.

Mercury goes retrograde on October 21 and suggests you'll be rethinking, reconsidering, revising, reworking, or reviewing something related to your 9th house such as your beliefs and expectations. With a trine involved with Jupiter in the house of his exaltation this review is likely to be on the positive side where things may actually be better than expected. This suggests gathering information that bolsters this part of your life and can be a wonderful boost for your attitude, especially if it has been a bit negative lately. Since we tend to attract what we project, this can be an important time for bringing more positive things your way and worth giving considerable thought. With the Sun still in your 12th house seeking enlightenment, inspiration or increased spirituality through meditation or whatever means you find inspiring would be well-worth it at this time. This attitude is likely to also involve some of the people closest to you. Scorpios don't always find it easy to forgive but if there's anyone in your life who has hurt you now might be a favorable time to work at leaving it behind, not necessarily because they deserve it but because it will enable you to move forward more easily without that old baggage and negative energy.
