The New Moon this month is in fellow Earth Sign, Virgo, your 5th house of ego definition, children, creativity, romance, entertainment and speculation so watch for something new to come your way in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around May 4 the lunation will trine your natal Sun, making it more influential.  There are numerous aspects and aspect patterns tied into the New Moon which will help distribute the energy to various other parts of your life.   For example, the Sun/Moon is at the apex of a Triangle of Potential that mitigates an opposition between Pluto and Jupiter.  Jupiter is in Cancer, sign of his exaltation, which is your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel.  This should bring a lot of expansive thoughts your way which can then be channeled into your creativity.  The risk with Jupiter is that there may be too many ideas that tend to be too grandiose.  The opposition with Pluto in Capricorn, another Earth Sign and your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, legal matters, religion, politics, higher education, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation, suggests the need for balance which could also include some transformational changes in this part of your life.  Your ideas ultimately become your beliefs and attitudes so this opposition suggests it's time to get rid of some old outdated ideas and make room for some new ones.  Another area that is likely to be affected is your ego definition as you see yourself differently as you change some of your previous beliefs.  This looks like a positive evolutionary process which is important to your development as an individual.

The New Moon is in another closed loop pattern that involves Pluto again as well as Uranus in nextdoor neighboring sign, Aries, your 12th house of spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, seclusion, confinement, your subconscious, the collective consciousness, hidden enemies, self-undoing and institutions.  Uranus is the planet of breaking away, freedom, sudden change, rebellion, innovation and technology with this transit, which will last for several more years, suggesting major changes here as well which easily fit into the expansion of your thoughts and beliefs.  If there is anything lurking in your subconscious which has been holding you back in some way this will help shake it loose and integrate it into your psyche, perhaps bringing about a significant change of direction.  Uranus and Pluto are in a long-term square which will be phasing in and out until 2015.  This suggests that this process of ridding yourself of old beliefs as your subconscious breaks free from old hang-ups will be ongoing and tremendously life-changing.  This will not always be an easy process but its ultimate result will be for you to eventually be a far different person than you are today.

Mars, Saturn and Neptune are in cahoots as well.  Mars is in fellow Fixed Sign, Leo, your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings which suggests taking action on a variety of things in this part of your life.  Mars in this venue can sometimes bring your home or its contents under "attack" and result in a variety of breakdowns.  It's important to be especially careful when it comes to fire.  Don't leave the stove or BBQ unattended because with this energy there is more probability of a problem.  The square from Mars to Saturn in your 7th house of close relationships suggests you need to share that bit of advice with your significant other so they're not the perpetrator.  Your 7th also includes close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, competitors and open enemies.  Saturn rules discipline, responsibility and authority figures with the additional implication that actions you wish to take around the homefront may meet resistance from someone or perhaps your responsibility toward them.  Neptune is in Pisces, the sign he rules, where he's in dignity and strong.  This is your 11th house of friends, networking, groups, goals, hopes and wishes and carries implications that you may be more inclined to be involved in charitable giving and groups engaged in such activities either through your own wishes or those of someone close to you.  This may bring about some alterations to those household plans as well, perhaps due to outside obligations. 

The Full Moon on September 19 is in Pisces, your house of friends, groups and so forth as mentioned above suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase.  Being more involved with compassionate service may be part of your personal evolution currently in progress as you get more involved with others.  Someone close to you is likely to have an impact on your beliefs at this time and perhaps motivate a few changes at a deep level.  Your sign ruler, Venus, is in your 7th house of relationships which bodes well for pleasant encounters or perhaps even meeting someone new.  New or information related to work, service or your health may bring an opportunity to take action on something that could represent a new beginning.  There is likely to be a surprise element attached that stirs up something at the subconscious level and ultimately changes the course of a relationship. 

On September 22 the Sun goes into Libra, marking the autumnal equinox in the Northern Hemisphere and vernal equinox in the Southern.  When the Sun goes into the Cardinal Signs it brings a new season and the astrological chart for the Ingress defines the character of the coming three months.  This chart can be used in astrometeorology (astrological weather prediction) as well as mundane and geopolitical astrology.  I suspect that it may have a bearing on individuals as well, perhaps defining the theme for the coming months.  With that in mind, here's a look at the Libra Ingress along with the invitation to feel free to contact me with any feedback, good or bad.  Like so many other occupations, astrologers learn more from their mistakes than the things they get right so feel free.

This chart has the Moon in your Sign and on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around May 2, giving it a stronger effect.  That is going to lend an emotional tone to this season of your life.  The Moon is opposing both your sign ruler, Venus, and Saturn in your 7th house of relationships which implies that your emotional needs may be compromised by those of someone close to you.  Mars is still in your 4th house of home environment and new beginnings and forming a T-square with the Moon and Venus which suggests tension at home, which is probably not exactly rocket science given everything else that seems to be going on.  You are likely to go through a variety of sudden changes at the subconscious level during this time as the result of your interactions with this person or persons.  Brilliant breakthroughs or flashes of insight are highly likely that touch on not only your view of yourself but also your perception of others.  Work issues may bring some challenges which could involve your daily commute or simply related to how you want to do things.  In other words, if you need to change anything related to work you're likely to meet with resistance.  Sharing your ideas with a loved one is favored, however and can bring some of those new insights.  Your belief system and attitude will be important in dealing with any situations at this time.  Remember it is in the process of being remodeled with events during this time period particularly relevant.
