Lunations and Long-term Aspects First a note on Saturn transiting your sign for those of you who are currently being affected. Those born October 9 - 13 are the ones involved with the early dates gradually escaping the energy while the later dates are just starting to feel it. Actually, that's not quite correct since Saturn has been that way before then went retrograde and retraced his steps. Thus, this is the third and final pass for you which will ultimately reveal the purpose or lesson you were supposed to learn and then move on. Saturn is exalted in Libra which is good news; a planet is less malevolent in the sign of its exaltation which is definitely a good thing since Saturn is not always friendly. Saturn rules your 4th house of home environment which also includes your cultural roots, memories and endings. Thus, even though he was working on you personally it most likely related to your home life or something related to it in some way. Saturn is about structure, responsibility, meeting your obligations, hard work and ambition. During the earlier parts of this transit you may have felt as if you were spinning your wheels in the mud and getting nowhere, with delays typical of Saturn retrograde. Now, however, progress can be made. The Full Moon this month is in Pisces, your 6th house of work, health and pets implying something in that part of your life will culminate, end or perhaps shift to a different phase. The Sun is transiting Virgo, your 12th house of enlightenment, inspiration, seclusion, confinement, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing so expect some action there as well. There is a strong potential for gaining insights and expanding your perceptions at this time which could have a noticeable impact on you such that you are a different person when all is said and done. Your sign ruler, Venus, is also in Virgo, which will put a more positive spin on things. The most obvious aspect pattern present in this lunation is a triangular one that connects Mercury, Uranus and Pluto in a closed loop. Thus, these insights or possible inspirational ideas are tying into these other areas as well. Pluto is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Capricorn, your 4th house of home environment, where he is causing major changes. If you haven't already you are likely to make a major move during this transit, which will last for years, so you may not do so anytime soon. Pluto in the 4th can also stir up old issues relative to your home whether its with family members or problems with your house itself, such as plumbing or electrical problems. The trine from Mercury, however, is excellent for increasing your understanding and seeing things in a more objective way. Uranus is quincunx Mercury from Aries, your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors and those with whom you have a one-on-one relationship. This suggests a sudden change of direction effected by someone who resides in the 7th which will also contribute in some way to that increase in your connection with the collective or other spiritual entity. The square between Uranus and Pluto, however, could bring some tension or challenge. While spiritual growth is indicated, there is going to be something you need to deal with first that involves home and someone close to you, especially if your birthday is between September 26 - 29. In other words, watch for someone you know fairly well to stir things up in some way, perhaps even via overt rebellion, and create something you have to deal with on the homefront. The New Moon on September 27 is in your sign and right on top of your Natal Sun if your birthday is September 28 though those of you a day or two off from that will feel it as well. This is a time for personal renewal, turning over a new leaf, or striking out on a new path. Some assistance in this endeavor is likely to come from a friend or you may simply encounter an opportunity to pursue one of your personal goals. This is going to create a change of course with regard to your homelife, however. Jupiter is transiting your 8th house of transformations, debt, sex, shared resources and intense experiences which will help you glean new understanding of what's going on around you at a deep and even profound level. Pursuing these goals is going to take effort and create tension but that is not to say that they won't be entirely worth it when all is said and done. Again, relationship are inherently involved. There is a lot of energy in Libra which will lend you assistance during this time. This includes not only the Sun and Moon but also Mercury which rules communications, your sign ruler, Venus, as well as Saturn, all of which can be harnessed to help you stay on target. Resistance is inevitable, however, since the New Moon forms a T-square with Pluto and Uranus, those two bad boys parked in your house of home environment and house of relationships, respectively. This implies that whatever you want to pursue is going to cause some challenges and tension in these areas. |
