Lunations and Long-term Aspects

The Full Moon on September 12 is in your Sign and will have the most influence on Fishies born within a day or so of March 10.  This will hail the ending or culmination of something that affects your personally.  Bear in mind it may also indicate reaching a milestone and then shifting to a new phase.  With the Sun in your polar sign, Virgo, which is your 7th house of close relationships, there is a good chance that someone else is involved as well.  Remember that close relationships include not only a significant other but close friends and relatives, competitors and business professionals with whom you have a one on one relationship as well as any business partners.  With Venus also in Virgo it implies someone who has emotional meaning, particularly with that sextile to Mars in fellow Water Sign, Cancer, which just happens to be your 5th house of romance.  The implications can easily apply to a romance blossoming into a more committed relationship.  Venus is also the natural ruler of money, material goods, your needs and pleasures and with the 5th house also related to speculations, finding a new financial advisor is another possibility.  So if there is no one in your life that fits in the romance category, then perhaps you should work at finding a new broker.

Mercury is also in Virgo, his very favorite sign of all the zodiac where he is both in dignity and exalted.  He is also very active in this lunation, being tied to four other planets via various aspects.  He is separating from an opposition to your modern sign ruler, Neptune, which is probably a good thing since this aspect had a tendency to fog or distort communications and information thus increasing the possibility of being deceived or deluded.  The quincunx to Uranus in Aries, your 2nd house of finances, income, needs and pleasures implies a change of course or direction in this part of your life as the result of information coming your way, perhaps from that new broker or someone else close to you.  This is likely to come suddenly and unexpectedly, given the typical erratic energy of Uranus.  Mercury is trining Jupiter in Taurus, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and siblings.  Jupiter in this house can be very beneficial for hatching new ideas or simply spending more time with neighbors and siblings.  Mercury is also trining Pluto in Capricorn, your 11th house of friends, group activities, networking and goals.  Pluto in this house suggests doing some excavation in this part of your life and eliminating any individuals or organizations which are no longer serving you well.  Pluto and Mercury somewhat implies obtaining previously hidden information, but in a trine this should be of a positive nature.  Another possibility is that someone already close to you provides some useful information with regard to an organization or one of your goals.  All in all, considering how busy Mercury is it makes sense to keep the lines of communication open and pay attention to what comes your way.

Mercury's quincunx to Uranus and trine to Pluto is turned into a closed loop by a square connecting Uranus and Pluto.  The square between these two is largely responsible for much of what you're seeing on the news these days, whether it's exposing corruption at all levels in an explosive and disruptive manner or the crazy weather we're seeing worldwide.  With both planets associated with electrical power in one way or another it's quite apropos for such things as power failures, nuclear meltdowns and nasty things like that.  If you look at that square by itself it implies a rather disruptive event related to your possessions or finances that has a negative effect on your goals or organizational ties or conversely discovering that a friend or group is corrupt and is ripping you off.  Be particularly careful of such things as identity theft during this time, which will last well into next month.  This rather unfortunate square is somewhat mitigated by Mercury's connection to them both by softer aspects so there's a chance that someone is going to either tip you off or lend assistance.

Venus is quincunx Neptune as well, particularly important for Pisces since Neptune is your sign ruler.  Neptune has backed into your 12th house of Aquarius due to retrograde motion.  Pisces rules the 12th house of the zodiac and comprises spirituality, enlightenment, inspiration, the collective consciousness, confinement, seclusion, institutions, hidden enemies and self-undoing.  Pisces are typically already endowed with strong intuitive powers to the point of frequently possessing psychic abilities as well.  Thus this aspect implies some important insights could come your way which bring about a change of direction with someone close to you, perhaps a romantic interest.

The New Moon on September 27 is in Libra, your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, debt, shared resources, and sex.  There's quite a crowd in Libra for this lunation including the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Venus and Saturn, pumping a whole lot of energy into this house.  Therefore, keep an eye out for something significant to happen that has a lasting or even profound effect on you.  By this time Mars has moved into a square with your traditional sign ruler, Jupiter, which is still in your house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and siblings while Mars is now in Leo, you 6th house of work, health and pets.  This suggests a conflict between further developing any of your ideas related to your work or perhaps much activity on the job which keeps you from that idea you want to pursue.  Pluto is mitigating this square, however, much as Mercury did the last one, against suggesting hidden information coming to light from a friend or possibly entirely renovating your goals as a result.

Mars is sextile the New Moon as well as Mercury, indicating opportunities at work will lead to something new and important.  The New Moon is part of a T-square, however, which also includes Pluto and Uranus, those two bad boys noted earlier.  Thus it appears that whatever those two are up to in your life is going to bring about some sort of major change that is going to be quite pervasive.  Remember that squares and challenges are often where we find our motivation and are not necessarily bad or traumatic.  There is a fairly healthy mix of favorable aspects in both lunations, though be prepared to change direction with a few things, something which mutable signs typically can handle quite comfortably.
