Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month there are two Full Moons, though the second one's effects will continue to show up in September. Remember that long-term square between Pluto in your Sign and Uranus in Aries is in effect and will be for a goodly long time. If your birthday is within a day or so of December 29th you are already having a Pluto transit so the connection with Uranus in your natural 4th house of home environment, endings and new beginnings and memories will tie those transformational effects into that part of your life as well. Uranus is the planet of surprises, disruptions, breaking away, rebellion, innovation and disturbances which are likely to keep you hopping in this part of your life. This could indicate a move or some other action that starts a new cycle. As always the principle of using the energy so it doesn't use you applies. If there are changes which need to be made in your life, these planets are your allies. If you resist the need for change, however, the Universe is likely to rub your nose in it until you take the hint. If you don't like what's going on in your life right now take a closer look for what is really happening and why, then consider whether or not you're on the right path. The Full Moon on the 1st is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Aquarius, your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs and pleasures, hinting at an ending, culmination or beginning of a new cycle in this part of your life. The Sun is in Leo, your 8th house of transformations, sex, death and regeneration, debt and shared resources, highlighting that part of your life which is also going to lend some influence to the lunation. Mercury is still retrograde at this time, also in your 8th, suggesting rethinking or revising something which is going to have a profound and lasting effect. The Sun, Pluto and Jupiter are forming a Yod or finger of god, also pointing toward transformation, perhaps due to an expansion of your work environment. This expansion or stroke of luck is likely to be the trigger for these changes which appear to be quite favorable. Saturn, your Sign Ruler, is in fellow Cardinal Sign, Libra, your 10th house of career, reputation, status and public image. If your birthday is right around January 14 then Saturn is squaring your Natal Sun which suggests some challenges in this part of your life. Nonetheless, Saturn is exalted in this sign, making his influence typically more favorable in the long-haul. The trine to Venus in your 6th house of work also bodes nicely for favorable changes in this part of your life, even though they won't necessarily be easy. There are several favorable indicators that this will relate to your career or public image, perhaps at the "dream come true" level. Putting together a viable plan and taking action to attain what you want is being helped along by Saturn and Mars in that house, so put them to good use. A change of direction at the core level is in work which will reverberate throughout your life. All of this may not set too well with someone close to you, however, and may introduce a few issues to be resolved. Remember that in order to be a good partner it's important for you to be happy and progressing on your own path. Compromising your direction often comes at a high price so follow your heart. The Full Moon on August 31 is in Pisces, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, local travel and siblings with the Sun in fellow Earth Sign, Virgo, your 9th house of higher learning, philosophy of life, legal matters, religion, politics, long-distance travel, other cultures and relocation. This implies that you will learn or encounter something that changes your thought process or interaction at the local level which institutes a new cycle. This lunation has a Yod as well which points toward change, perhaps of a sudden nature, and will relate to taking action on your goals that are likely to relate back to those 9th house issues. One example would be deciding to go back to school or making a major move. Taking action on your goals is highly favored so if there is something you've been wanting to pursue, this is an excellent time to take those first steps. |
