The New Moon on December 2 is in your polar sign, Sagittarius, which is also your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professions with whom you interact on a one-on-one basis, competitors and open enemies. If your birthday is right around June 1st the lunation will oppose your natal Sun and have a stronger influence. The New Moon trines Uranus in your 11th house of friends, organizations, networking, hopes, wishes, and goals which could bring a surprise from that area, such as a friend introducing you to someone interesting or perhaps someone close introducing you to a new friend. Pluto in the 8th is involved and squaring Uranus, implying that you may have to let go of something from the past to find the most benefit. Venus is also in the 8th and seems to be stirring up a few things as well. The trine to Mars in Virgo, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings, also implies something new and it's interesting to note that Venus rules your 5th house of romance as well as the 12th which includes your subconscious. Something new that could have a transformational effect is also implied and may hail from news related to your current job. Jupiter is retrograde in your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures which suggests some philosophical issues rumbling around there which, combined with the trine to Saturn, could bring some new responsibilities at work or a new project of some sort.

The Full Moon on December 17 is in your sign and conjunct your natal Sun if your birthday is right around June 16. A Full Moon will typically bring an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase which will be at the personal level. Your sign ruler, Mercury, is in your 7th house of relationships, implying communications or news from someone close to you. This could result in a change of course as far as your finances are concerned or whatever Jupiter is up to in your 2nd house. The trine to Saturn is still in effect, implying favorable influences at work that will take some effort on your part but be worth it. Mars has gone into fellow Air Sign, Libra, but applying to an opposition to Uranus which indicates a few disturbances or upsets. Libra is your 5th house of ego definition, romance, children, entertainment, creativity, entertainment and speculation and something is starting up in that department, or at least trying to. It's possible that you want to get started on a new creative endeavor but need to finish up a previous goal first that throws a few surprises your way. Avoid being too idealistic, which may mess things up even further. Recognize what you can handle and when you stretch yourself too thin. You may be better at multiplexing than most people, but you can also spread yourself too thin when you have too many things going on at once.

About eight hours after the Full Moon Uranus stations direct. If your birthday is right around May 30 this could bring an opportunity your way but it may fall in that same category as the new creative endeavor noted above. At this point the Moon is in the last degree of your sign which contains a lot of built-up energy. Listen to what your intuition is telling you at this point and make any necessary adjustments. This burst of energy from Uranus could set things in motion but remember that Uranus rules explosions so ducking for cover may be required until the dust settles.

Venus stations retrograde on December 21, just after the Sun goes into Capricorn. This could be a rather interesting combination as both occur in your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, sex, death and rebirth, shared resources and things you suppress. Since Venus rules your 12th and therefore your subconscious, this could relate to that or perhaps your 5th of creativity and romance. When Venus goes retrograde she becomes the goddess of war as opposed to the goddess of love. In this mode she will go after what she wants rather than try to attract it. A clue to what this means to you may lie in what happened in the December 2005/January 2006 timeframe which is the last time she went retrograde in this general location. Anything left unresolved from then may reappear now and demand attention. There is a somewhat sloppy T-square in effect at this time that includes Uranus, Pluto and Mars, all generally malefic planets all in Cardinal signs which encourage action. Letting go of something from the past and the conflict between breaking away from an existing goal to pursue a new one have been around since the Full Moon but at this point Mars goes into position to take action, or at least try to, since it may be easier said than done. Your thoughts may be tinged with emotion which may not actually help the situation. You probably usually go with your head instead of your heart but this is not always the right decision, as you have probably discovered. Now is a time to consider exactly what it is you want, both in the short and long term, and act accordingly. Being tied with the Capricorn ingress there are implications that what occurs at this time is going to be the theme of the next three months so choose wisely.
