The New Moon this month on November 3 is also an annular solar eclipse that will be visible in a narrow band that crosses the Atlantic Ocean as well as Central Africa. An annular eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far distant to be of sufficient size to entirely occlude the Sun, leaving a ring of it visible around the edges and precluding totality. This one is a member of the 16 North family of the Saros Series and according to astrologer and eclipse guru, Bernadette Brady, this one has a generally friendly and inspiration energy which is certainly good news. Saturn is exalted in your sign and therefore usually a favorable influence which suggests you will have the discipline required to achieve whatever this eclipse may bring your way or it could also indicate the influence of an older person, mentor or authority figure. Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio and therefore your 2nd house where all the action is occurring. He also rules your 7th house of relationships.
