The New Moon on November 3 is also an annular solar eclipse which will be visible across a narrow band in the Atlantic and across Central Africa. An annular eclipse occurs when the Moon is too far distant to be of sufficient size to occlude the entire disk of the Sun, leaving a ring visible around the edges that precludes totality. This one is a member of the 16 North family of the Saros Series and according to astrologer and eclipse guru, Bernadette Brady, has a fairly friendly and inspirational energy which is certainly welcome news. There are various other aspects out there that support this theme, making it even more likely to manifest in that manner. Be sure to find time to mediate on this energy and use it while it's there.

The eclipse occurs in fellow Water Sign, Scorpio, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, religion, politics, other cultures, long-distance travel, legal matters and relocation, making this an ideal time to take a close look at your belief system, which has been described as thoughts that stick. Accompanying the eclipse are Saturn, the North Lunar Node and Mercury, which happens to be retrograde. Saturn can provide discipline and structure, Mercury retrograde provides energy to rethink, relearn or perhaps even unlearn anything in this area that you need to replace with higher knowledge and experience. Shedding old beliefs for higher ones periodically is essential to growth with the astrological climate excellent for that exercise at this time. If your birthday is right around March 1 this eclipse will have the most influence since several planets in addition to the eclipse itself aspect your natal Sun, the core of your being.

Moving outside of Scorpio, the Sun/Moon system comprising the eclipse is in partile (same degree) sextile with Mars in your polar sign, Virgo, your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professionals, cliental, employees, competitors and open enemies. Mars is the traditional ruler of Scorpio, your 9th house where there is already so much action, and thus brings more energy to taking action on your beliefs, perhaps with the assistance of someone close to you. On the other hand, you may resist this input or have to balance it out with your own views since Mars is in your polar sign. Even if you don't initially agree with this input you would do well to give it careful consideration as objectively as possible because there is something there you can benefit from. This sextile is also the base of a yod or "finger of God" with Uranus at the eye in Aries, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts, pleasures and what you value which also includes your physical body as your most important and fundamental possession. Uranus is the planet of breakthroughs, sudden change, freedom, innovation and the unexpected which suggests that listening to someone close to you and making a few changes to your beliefs or other 9th house element can bring a sudden change to your income. Of course this doesn't promise it will be a positive change but hopefully that would be the case with all the inspirational energy out there.

Uranus, however, is locked into a long-term square with Pluto who's over there in your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, goals, hopes, wishes and networking. This suggests that you may have to break away from something in that part of your life in order to pursue this new opportunity. Pluto is suggestive of cleaning house as he encourages eliminating things you no longer need. He's also the planet of transformation, power and control. Think about what's going on in this part of your life and what Pluto may want you to do to utilize his energy in the most effective and beneficial manner. Jupiter, your traditional ruler, is in fellow Water Sign, Cancer, sign of his exaltation, where he will station retrograde on November 7. Jupiter RX often relates to ethics or philosophical issues and this is occurring in your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. If you're up for personal change and progression this can certainly assist with that as well, as you allow this influence to nurture and expand your self-identity. If your birthday is right around March 11 this will have the strongest effect.

Mercury stations direct on November 10 and does so in partile trine with your modern sign ruler, Neptune, at home in your sign. This is also a very significant aspect as far as inspiration is concerned. Mercury retrograde is all about rethinking and reconsidering anyway and this has an open channel to Neptune to bring that information through as inspiration. Neptune goes direct on November 13, another indicator of this inspiration surfacing. All this cosmic activity in Water Signs will benefit you in a favorable manner so be sure to tune into it, recognize it and put it to good use.

The Full Moon on November 17 is in Taurus, your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel. If your birthday is right around March 16 this lunation forms a triangle of potential with your natal Sun and further facilitates an exchange between your thoughts, ideas and beliefs. A Full Moon typically indicates an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase, so if you have managed to restructure your beliefs this will have additional meaning for you. Venus is now in Capricorn and has been since November 6 which brings her blessings to your 11th house of friends and goals. She rules your 3rd house of thoughts as well as your 8th house of transformations which brings them into play as well. This suggests that perhaps a friend, most likely a female one, can help point you in the right direction as far as transformational ideas are concerned. Venus is also the natural ruler of love and money and is in your house of goals, so don't leave out that possibility as well. This may be the coup de grace that helps you pull it all together, even though it's not going to be handed to you and will be a challenge to do so. Nonetheless, the preponderance of inspiration energy out there this month should be beneficial. As noted earlier, meditate on it, internalize it and then make any needed changes to move in a new direction with your goals and aspiration.
