The next several years are going to involve general overhaul of your beliefs as Pluto plows through your Natural 9th House of legal matters, higher education, long distance travel, and, of course, your core beliefs, which will include politics and religion among other things. Pluto just moved into Capricorn in January and will be there for a long, long time. We're talking about March 2023, folks, which is a lot further out than even your Virgo friends are likely to plan. It's unlikely that anything in the 9th House domain is going to escape considerable scrutiny during that time. If you've been thinking of going back to school, it's definitely a good time for that since Pluto will help you unearth all sorts of facts and understand just about anything at a deeper level than you ever have before. No matter what your choice of studies happens to be, you'll be amazed at your research skills and how keen your intuition will become.

During the entire month of April, Saturn will trine Pluto. A trine is a harmonious aspect where the planetary energies flow easily between them. Saturn is the zodiacal taskmaster whose raison d'être is to teach discipline, responsibility, institute delays, impose boundaries, and assure structure. In your 5th House of creativity, children, lovers, speculation, entertainment and ego, you can probably figure out what his target is going to be. If you've been irresponsible in any of these areas, brace yourself, because Saturn has you in his sights. This should be good news for one of my daughters who has a Taurus ex who hasn't paid child support regularly for quite a long time. We can always hope.

Another aspect that will be in force for the entire month of April is a sextile between Jupiter and Uranus. Jupiter, who expands and inflates whatever he contacts, is likewise in your 9th House with all that belief and philosophical stuff. He's quite at home in this venue, so is likely to be doing some work expanding your mind about these things and has been since March 2003. He'll be leaving in January 2009, so you have a little under a year left. Uranus is the planet of surprises, unexpected events, disruptions and upsets and he's hanging out in your 11th House of groups, friends, organizations, hope & wishes. A sextile usually brings an opportunity of some sort, so it looks as if your connects through your friends and associates might bring something your way, even if it's no more than an idea that will do you some good. Between April 12 - 16 an idea is especially likely to surface as Mercury gets into the act and trines Jupiter. If anything strikes you, be sure to latch onto it and not let it evaporate back into the cosmos while you're thinking about it. Taurus likes to move slowly, I know, but what you need to remember is that windows of opportunity do close if not acted upon in a timely way. It's a good thing to think things through, but not necessarily to death, if you know what I mean.

The Sun, Mercury and your Sign Ruler, Venus, are spending quite a bit of time in Aries this month, i.e. until the 20th, 18th, and 30th, respectively. Aries is your 12th House of spirituality, dreams, transcendence, hidden enemies, and inspiration. The New Moon on the 5th occurs there as well and is likely to start something new in one of those areas. From there they move into your 1st House, which will bring their influence to a more personal level. You may find that during the first half of the month that you experience some rather aggressive thoughts that clash with your dreams or spiritual values; these thoughts could be your own or even come from someone else. A similar onslaught could come from your existing beliefs. During this time you should examine your beliefs, spiritual values, and any new ideas to determine if some renovation might be in order. Note that this also fits in nicely with Pluto's agenda over the next decade plus.

The Sun will sextile Neptune between April 8 - 20, which could bring an opportunity your way relative to your career or reputation. Neptune tends to dissolve what he touches, so it's up to you to decide if there's something about your career or reputation that you'd do well to let go. Perhaps you're trying to fool yourself into thinking you need to pursue the most lucrative career when in reality your heart is somewhere else. Along with all this other belief review, you'd do well to look at this as well. Remember that the coming years will be a good time to go to school and where there's a will, there's a way. If you don't really like where you're headed, now is the time to change. The time will pass anyway, and you may as well be moving in the direction you want to go. Remember when we're not moving forward, we're acting going backwards because there's no such thing as standing still in life. Perhaps when the Sun trines Pluto the latter half of April, you'll unearth some insights that will help you with this as well. It may or may not be related to this, but the Full Moon on the 20th occurs in Scorpio, your 7th House of relationships, and is likely to mark the culmination of something (or someone). Remember, however, that relationships include not only your significant other, but close friends and relatives as well as business associates. It may just be time to move on.

Mercury will be stimulating your thoughts as well as all other means of communication regarding all that spiritual stuff, particularly between April 3 - 18. There may be some adjustments due to unexpected delays in receiving news or data you're expecting the first few days of the month. Arguments are likely between April 8 - 13, perhaps about some of these new ideas you're gathering. These should stabilize by the end of the month and actually create an opportunity of some type, perhaps yet another idea that evolves as a result of questioning the original one. Good news is possible regarding your children, lovers, or creative endeavors between April 17 - 21. Venus will square Pluto between April 5 - 10, which is likely to present another conflict between your spiritual nature and beliefs. Male - female arguments are very likely the last week or so of the month, with money a good topic for discussion. If you're thinking of going back to school, needless to say money is likely to be an issue, and it's a matter of whether you're willing to sacrifice for a while in order to be more stable and comfortable later. Taurus likes their creature comforts, and this is not always an easy decision, particularly since you don't like change, either. However, if you keep on doing what you've always done, you'll keep on getting what you've always got, and if you don't like what you got, then you don't have much choice other than to make a few changes.

It's very apparent that changes are on the horizon and moving in at a steady pace. As a Fixed Sign, this is probably not what you want to hear. However, you like material security as well as creature comforts, and if those aren't up to par then you need to figure out what you need to do to get there. The universe is undoubtedly trying to lend a hand, so your best bet is to suck it up and listen. The planets have an amazing amount of patience, especially Pluto.
