This month there's a lot of mental action, running around, neighborhood and household stuff, financial issues, and perhaps finalizing of a transformation change. Most of these are typical of the holiday period, but these are likely to go a bit beyond that in one way or another. This will kick off on December 1st which will bring a plethora of good ideas, probably with financial implications, as Jupiter and Venus get together in a nice, friendly bear-hug in your 3rd House of ideas, thoughts, neighborhood, and short journeys. It's a good time to make New Years resolutions, jot down your plans and goals for the year to come, or go for a pleasant day trip. Between December 5 - 6, Mercury will form a T-Square with Uranus and Saturn which has the potential to create a conflict due to some news that involves your pocketbook, children/lovers/creative endeavors, and responsibilities toward your friends, group associations, or hopes for the future. This is a big mix and match situation, but you know what's going on in your life and can probably pick out the elements in short order. At the same time, the Sun will be in conjunction with Mars, which will throw a lot of energy toward your 2nd House of finances, possessions, and pleasures, and may or may not be related to the other. At any rate, there's a lot going on with your material possessions. On December 7, some inspiration that hails an opportunity is coming your way that also involves your possessions and something about your home environment. Just make sure that you have all the facts before taking any drastic action, particularly if it's confusing in any way. This involves a sextile between Mercury and Neptune with the latter often deceptive, so turn on that natural Scorpio discernment to figure out what it means. It's worth pointing out before going on to what's happening on the 8th, that your Sign Ruler, Pluto, has gone back into Capricorn, this time to stay for quite a while, after completing his retrograde excursion back into Sagittarius for several months. Capricorn is your 3rd House of thoughts, short journeys, neighbors, ideas, and early education so these areas will receive the benefits of Pluto's presence for the next several years. Scorpios are already very perceptive and intuitive, sometimes to an uncanny degree, and this is going to magnify that even more. Your mental processes will be deeper, more intense, and probing than ever before, you're likely to find out all sorts of dirty little secrets, particularly around your neighborhood, and there's no telling what could come out of various short trips. So this will be going on for several years, though I expect you'll enjoy it tremendously. It's bound to be much more interesting and entertaining than Pluto in your 2nd House which probably dug up all sorts of unpleasant situations regarding your possessions and finances. Nonetheless, no one can handle Pluto as well as a Scorpio, so I'm sure you've landed on your feet in one way or another. So, back to December 8th, on that day Pluto will be conversing with Venus, but the dialog probably will be annoying in some way. You're likely to find out something you didn't know that involves your home environment and either your wallet or a loved one (with your wallet undoubtedly being one of your loved ones) that you probably won't like. That same day, Mercury and Jupiter will be up to something as well and this likely to involve some information regarding your finances or possessions in some way as well, or perhaps even a shift in your attitude toward them. You could attain a more philosophical attitude toward them or it could also be some annoying neighborhood incident that affects your property in some way. On the 9th getting along with members of the opposite sex will be a challenge. An unknown tension or irritation will be there that could interfere with any discussions you may have, and again your possessions and attitude toward them could be involved as well. Something unexpected is likely to come to light on December 10 that will originate with your children, creative efforts, romantic interests or any speculations you have going and also have an affect of some description on your possessions or finances. More will follow on the 11th, this time striking closer to home in some way. Obviously there's a lot of activity in this part of your life this month and this is due to this planetary parade going through that zodiacal neighborhood this month with the planets playing various games of tag, leapfrog, and various other antics, some good, some not so good. The Full Moon on December 12 bring along an aspect pattern known as a Mutable Grand Cross, which should have some interesting effects, to say the least. A Full Moon usually indicates the culmination of something, and in your case this could mean a transformation of some sort. Other factors to look for are, once again, your finances, creative endeavors, and group associations. Deep introspections are likely as well as Mercury and Pluto get together in conjunction, which should give you a mental blast that's hard to miss. Whatever you have going on in this area you're going to have increased insights, understanding, and knowledge about it to the extent it changes you in some way. If you've been thinking about doing some redecorating or changing your home environment in some way, this is also a favorable time to receive some extra inspiration or pursue your dreams in that area as well. On the 15th Mars, Scorpio's ancient ruler, will square Saturn, which implies a crisis of sorts, once again between your financial drive versus your obligations to either friends, group associations, or it could also represent a delay or obstacle toward getting where you hope to be. Nonetheless, give it a day or so and some new inspiration should come your way regarding which direction to take, even though you'll need to make sure that any information that comes your way is accurate. On the 21st you're likely to unearth some more interesting insights regarding your home or those in it that will cause tension or friction in some way. On the 22nd, the Sun and Pluto will be in conjunction, which once again should give you an incredible boost of inside information. Insights, thoughts, and transformational ideas should be coming at you from all directions. On the 23rd look out for accidents of all sorts or a problem with something breaking down, particularly while you're out there running around doing last-minute holiday errands. Christmas Eve will bring a few surprises on the home front as well as a possible glitch or two. If you're entertaining, have children, or are trying to plan a special night with your romantic interest, expect a few things to get messed up and plan accordingly. Whatever you do, take it in stride and don't let it ruin what should be a very special evening. On Christmas Day the planets are gratefully taking a bit of a rest, but will resume their antics on the 26th when Mercury will trine Saturn. This should bring some good information you way regarding that friend/group association matter, which could also involve your coworkers. This could very possibly put you on the road to understanding exactly what you need to do with this issue, which has been bouncing around in one form or another most of the month. Inspiration regarding home environment is on its way again, but continue to make sure it's accurate and you're not being deceived in some way. December 27th should be an interesting day, partly because of that New Moon in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, short journeys, and neighbors, which implies something new coming in this area. A Catch-22 situation is likely to come your way that day as well, perhaps having two separate obligations to attend to that are mutually exclusive, perhaps one related to friends or work and the other related to home. Whichever one you choose is going to leave someone less than enchanted with your decision. Bear in mind that it's a favorable day for romance, however, where dreams could be pursued in a variety ways, in case that helps you make up your mind. Mars and Pluto will be in conjunction on December 28 which will be bringing a whole bunch of energy and power to your thoughts and ideas. With Mars your ancient ruler and Pluto your modern ruler, expect a huge influx of energy that you'll be able to handle as well or better than anyone else since these vibes should have a familiarity to them, in spite of the intensity. If you're trying to put together a plan of some sort now is the time to jump on it. At the least, think long and hard about some New Years Resolutions and how to pursue them. If you're on the road, try to drive like a civilized person and not a bat out of Hell, even though that is probably how you're going to feel. New Years Eve will bring more big ideas your way, probably as a follow-up to all that activity on the 28th. This month will be loaded with ideas, thoughts, feelings, home-related and financial issues, a few random surprises and reminders here and there of your limitations, responsibilities and obligations. In some respects that simply sounds like business as usual, but these will be of a much stronger magnitude than usual, resulting in you being a slightly different person at month's end than you were when it started. Pay close attention to all the inspiration and ideas coming your way and don't take them for granted. As noted earlier, the planets are moving through your 2nd House of possessions and finances and your 3rd House of thoughts and ideas during December, but a month or so from now they will have moved on to other areas, so put them to work while it lasts.
