This month is likely to be a month that you will remember for a long time, for one reason or another, due to all the action in your 8th House of transformations and 9th House of beliefs, higher education, legal matters, and long-distance travel. You will experience personal growth in surprising ways that may not be obvious at the time, but will stay with you and cause a few "Aha!" moments in the days, weeks, months, and even years to come.

December 1st will bring a very favorable conjunction between Jupiter and Venus in your 9th House, so watch for something good to come along in this area to start things out. If you happened to look to the west around sunset on this day you would have seen what looked like an upside down frowny face as the crescent Moon got into the act with this beautiful conjunction. This is also a good place to sneak in an astrology lesson, that when planets are in conjunction astrologically it only means that they're at the same degree of a given sign, not necessarily the same declination, or height above the horizon. Thus, they wouldn't occult one another, as you might expect.

From December 5 - 6 Mercury will be involved in an aspect known as a T-Square involving your 5th, 8th, and 11th Houses. Stuffy task-master Saturn will be in your 5th House of creativity, ego, children, and romance; busy data gatherer Mercury will be in your 8th of transformations, sex, death and other people's money; and quirky Uranus will be in your 11th House of groups, friends, hopes, and wishes. A T-Square involves two squares and one opposition, none of which is a particularly friendly aspect, so expect a conflict or crisis of some sort that ties these various elements together in a mix-n-match manner. In a nutshell, some unexpected or disruptive news is likely to come from or relate to your group activities or hopes for the future which will in turn cause a tug-o-war with your children, lovelife, creativity, or perhaps simply something enjoyable you'd plan to do, such as a vacation. During this same time the Sun will conjunct Mars, bringing a lot of energy to your 8th House of transformations, other people's resources, and so forth, meaning that this is likely to be a day you'll remember for a while and it will change you in some manner.

On December 7th Mercury will sextile Neptune, which may affect your attitude toward your career or the direction you'd like to go in life. Inspiration is going to play a big part here, but make sure that it has some basis in truth or you may be chasing rainbows. On the 8th Venus, your Sign Ruler, will be irritating Pluto, which is going to stir up a few ore things regarding your career or life's work and your personal philosophy regarding them. This could well be something that resembles an ethical dilemma of some sort where you're given the chance to make more money, but it violates your beliefs or standards in some way that you find uncomfortable. That same day Mercury and Jupiter will be reinforcing these same issues by bringing the data your way that you need to figure all this out in a way that will change how you see a few things. On the 9th, Venus and Mars will be causing some more irritations in this same general area, suggesting either a difficulty with getting along with members of the opposite sex or possibly a conflict between your ambitions and finances. In other words, perhaps what you really want to do isn't sufficient to pay the bills, or the money is good but you'll hate yourself in the morning.

When the Sun squares Uranus on the 10th you can expect more information that will have an impact on where you're going in life. You may decide your hopes and wishes for the future require a few tweaks or you may even decide your entire social structure needs a complete overhaul. If you've been hanging out with the wrong people, who have been keeping you from going where you need to go, or wasting your time in the wrong job, something could come along that gives you the big "Aha!" such that you have the courage to walk away and start over, as required.

The Full Moon on the 12th is in Gemini, your 2nd House of possessions, finances, and pleasures. This is but another indication that something is coming to a close. This lunation comes trailing a challenging aspect pattern known as a Mutable Grand Cross, which isn't particularly friendly in that it contains at least four squares and two oppositions. These are once again in houses that are very active for you this month and include your finances, creativity and how you express your ego, unexpected events within your group associations and some serious rethinking of where you're going in life and how you see yourself. At roughly the same time, Mercury will be in conjunction with Pluto which will further enhance your introspections into your core beliefs. It could also motivate major considerations related to going back to school or relocating somewhere else. Some more inspiration is likely, but make sure it's not simply an illusion. Being an Earth Sign, you're down to Earth by nature, so follow your instincts and you should do all right.

Mars will square Saturn on the 15th which once again involves something deep and serious regarding your 5th House which includes your self-image, children, lovers, or creativity. Speculation and entertainment are other potential topics, particularly if you've been over-indulging in one of these areas and need to rethink their place in your life in some way. On the 16th you'll encounter some information that could be confusing and irritating in some way regarding your career goals and pull in that money factor again. On the 7th all of this will start coming together with your core beliefs and philosophy of life coming together in a significant way. December 21 more deep introspection and transformations will continue that will further affect your direction in life and attitude toward money and material security with hidden information or insights coming your way on the 22nd that will further enhance and reinforce what you've been putting together this month, though some of it will be irritating and not what you want to see, no matter how closely it's staring you in the face.

Christmas Eve a surprise event could cause a nuisance that involves your friends and your beliefs may take yet another turn. Christmas Day the planets are taking a day off, but they resume on the 26th with a nice, harmonious trine between Saturn and Mercury, which will bring some important information your way that relates to whatever you have going on with your children, lovers, or one of those other 5th House matters noted earlier. More confusing information could surface that you need to look at very closely and not take at face value. The New Moon on the 27th occurs in your 9th House of beliefs, higher education, relocation, long-distance travel and beliefs, further indicating something new is opening up in this area. A Catch-22 situation is coming on the 27th that will once again involve your career and someone or something in your 5th House, such as do you cancel that long-standing obligation with your kids or lover in favor of a dinner with your boss that could result in a promotion? There isn't going to be any clear answers to this one and some of the ones that float your way are likely to be deceptive or no more than illusions, so think about it long and hard.

On the 28th Mars and Pluto will be in conjunction, which generates a whole lot of energy and power. This will occur in your 9th House of higher education, relocation, core beliefs, and so forth, that has been mentioned numerous times already. This could represent an event that really gets you jump-started in this area or it could simply be a burst of energy and determination to get started on a new path. You should recognize it when it occurs as it should be significant and hard to miss. On New Years Eve Mercury will be in conjunction with Jupiter in this same House, expanding your thoughts or bringing you even more information in this area. If you've been mulling over anything that fits these things, such as considering a long trip or move, going back to school, entering into a contract, or anything related to your beliefs, including politics and religion, there should be a lot of action pushing in one direction or another at this time.

Clearly this will be a very significant month and help define much about how you see the world from your core beliefs to your creative expression and even your career and/or your mission in life. Pay close attention to what is going on around you and consider it from all angles. The Universe will be spoon-feeding you on a few things and you'd do well to listen carefully as it will be important regarding where you go in the year ahead.
