The month starts out with retrograde (RX) Mercury conjoined with Neptune in your Natural 8th House of sex, transformation, and other people's resources. Mercury RX has a pretty sordid reputation, but the main point he's trying to make is for us to rethink anything that may require it. It's an excellent time to edit or rework a project, but definitely not a time when you're likely to move forward. When he's in tight aspect with Neptune, there's no telling what could result. Neptune can dissolve what he touches, perhaps making it disappear forever, or in the case of mental activity and ideas, make them go away entirely. On the other hand, Neptune can also bring dreams and inspiration or even spiritual experiences and insights. A conjunction is a very strong aspect as the energy of the two planets blend, but it's hard to tell if it will come out in a positive or negative way. The main thing is to be aware that it's there and make sure you question anything that seems a bit far out. There's a lot of activity this month in this area, so there's a good chance that it will be inspiration of some sort, but make sure you fully understand the implications of whatever it happens to be.

As if that isn't interesting enough, during most of the time that this conjunction is in force, the pair will also be in trine with Mars over in your Natural 12th House of inspiration, dreams, and spirituality. This will needless to say give a lot of extra energy to this inspiration business. If that sounds vaguely familiar, it's because Neptune rules the Zodiacal 12th House, which happens to be Pisces, and they all tie together in one way or another. All these woo-woo vibes are well and good, but just make sure that you're on solid ground before opening your wallet or mind to something. Don't be impulsive and react too quickly, but give it the time it deserves to see if it settles into something viable or not. It's possible that it will provide some significant new direction for your life, but just make sure it's a place you are prepared to go. Between February 6 - 9, something unexpected may come up that represents an annoyance or nuisance of some sort that's related to this issue, but it should be short-lived and not terrifically serious in the long haul.

Even more interesting is the New Moon on the 7th, which will further emphasize whatever this turns out to be. This isn't the usual New Moon in that it's also an annular eclipse, meaning it will initiate something that will be in force for roughly the next six months, or more exactly until the solar eclipse in August. Thus, it's going to be something with some degree of importance that certainly deserves your careful attention.

Jumping forward to the 18th, at this time Venus will slip into Aquarius, which will bring some positive vibes to this area. If it turns out that you were inspired in some way at the beginning of the month, this should bring some luck your way. With all the astrological activity going on in this neighborhood, it's extremely likely that something significant is going on that will difficult to miss.

Returning to the first week of the month, there's something very interesting going on in your Natural 7th house of relationships. Two very benefic planets, Venus and Jupiter, are in quite an embrace over there, and in this particular house that seems to bode very well for the relationships in your life. These are not just the romantic variety, but any one-on-ones, which includes close friends or relatives, and business partners as well. This should indicate either a significant improvement or perhaps a new person will come into your life in one of those capacities. At any rate, it should be exceptionally positive.

On the 20th, the Sun enters Pisces, your Natural 9th House of higher education, legal matters, long distance travel, religion and politics. This is likely to bring attention to one or more of these areas, in one way or another. A few days later, the Sun will oppose retrograde Saturn in Virgo, your Natural 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, short journeys and your immediate neighborhood. Saturn retrograde tends to gather up anything that requires a bit more discipline, responsibility, or ambition, though you may be slightly resistant to these concepts during this time. Knowing that politics are on everyone's mind these days, perhaps this aspect is trying to motivate you to be a bit more informed about the candidates, their platforms, and which of the many fits in best with your own core beliefs. The Full Moon on the 20th is also in your house of thoughts and ideas, perhaps indicating it's time to enter a new phase of thinking.

Remember that Mercury is retrograde for the majority of the month, meaning that it's not a good time to buy anything electronic or mechanical. However, it is a good time to edit or rework anything currently in progress, and could also be a favorable time to do something like gather together all your relevant information to start doing your taxes. However, he will go direct on the 19th, which will open the way for new endeavors. From February 22 through the end of March, Mercury and Venus will be having quite a conversation in your now-famous 8th house. This provides even more evidence that something very significant is going on in this area. This aspect should open the way for very favorable and helpful information to come your way that could transform some area of your life. It could relate to your finances, and if you're trying to borrow money could be quite favorable. Around the 29th be a bit cautious, however, that you don't get over-confident or too enthusiastic because it might be no more than a bubble that will burst in short order, but this will only be a blip with the benefits to come still in force since that nice conjunction will last until the end of March, so there's still plenty of time.

This looks like a very interesting a significant month in a variety of ways. A transformation of some sort is almost inevitable, and it may come as a result of inspiration, though you need to make sure that you're operating on solid ground. Something exceptionally good is likely to happen on the relationship front, and you also should take a long, hard look at your core beliefs to make sure you understand what they really are. At any rate, by next month things are likely to be quite a bit different than now, but with all that inspiration and luck floating around, it should be in a very good way.
