This month there will be a lot of attention drawn to your home environment as the Sun moves through Cancer, your 4th House, which will last until the 22nd, after which the emphasis will shift to your 5th House, which comprises your children, creative efforts, romance or all of the above. The New Moon is also in Cancer on July 2, which will initiate something in this area. For the first week of July Mars, your Sign Ruler, will conjoin Saturn in your 6th House of work, health and fitness, as well as pets. Mars is what gives you all that drive and energy while Saturn is closely associated with ambition, discipline, and responsibility. With these two paired up in your house of work, it isn't rocket science to figure out you're going to be working your butt off during this time. During about this same time, these two planets will also trine Pluto, who's over there in your 9th House of long distance travel, legal matters, higher education, politics and religion. A trine is a harmonious aspect that will blend Pluto's power with everything else happening on the job. Since the God of the Underworld is currently hanging out in your 9th House, something from that domain will be involved as well. If there's anything in that area with hidden information that needs to come out, chances are it will at this time, and should be beneficial, for you, at least.

Also during the first week or so of the month, Mercury will square Uranus, which will be stirring up a lot of mental activity to go along with everything else, though you're also likely to encounter some unexpected inspiration or other spiritual insights along the way. Another possibility with this aspect is a surprise event involving your neighbors or a short trip of some variety. This aspect will be augmented by Venus, who will be trining Uranus during about the same time. We all have a pretty good idea that Venus is a benefic planet and a trine, as previously noted, is harmonious, implying that Venus will be shining friendly light on your home environment during this time, either in financial or relationship areas.

However, that square to Mercury is likely to bring about an argument or conflicting thoughts of some sort, especially while clashing with Uranus, who is known as the planet of upsets, disruptions, and the unexpected. Thus, during the first ten days or so of July you'll be dealing with something you hadn't planned for that could involve a conflict of some sort, though it's also likely to involve something pleasant there at home. From July 9 - 19th, the Sun will also get into the act and trine Uranus, which should bring some unexpected insights your way as they relate to whatever it is you have going on, with some specific ideas coming your way the week following. Thus, you have plenty of astrological help for dealing with it all.

For the entire month, Uranus and Neptune will be in a scratchy semi-sextile with each other. This is strengthened by the fact that these two planets are in a configuration known as mutual reception, in that each one is in the Sign the other rules. This serves to make the vibes resonate more heavily than usual. These two are also outer planets, so they move quite slowly. This activity is taking place in your 11th House of groups, friends, hopes & wishes, and your 12th House of inspiration, spirituality, and dreams. Here is a nice aspect for you to put to work however you see fit.

There is no reason that we can't harness planetary energy how ever we'd prefer, rather than just wait for the Universe to dole it out as it sees fit. As a self-starter, I'm sure you rather decide such things for yourself, so here's your chance. This is a good time to be taking a good, hard look at your spiritual values, hopes for the future, and any organizational involvement for some serious inspiration and innovative ideas. Situations that are definitely "outside the box" will be there if you watch for them and will be vying for your attention. Weird experiences or insights are other possibilities, so if you think its something you ate for lunch at that Chinese buffet, it's likely that's not the culprit. Don't ignore it as there will be a message in there somewhere you should listen to, particularly if you've been looking for answers in this area of your life.

The Full Moon on July 18th is in your house of career and reputation, which indicates something of significance is afoot, and of course Jupiter has been at work expanding your opportunities in that part of your life for about six months. Between July 14 - 20, the Sun will oppose Jupiter, however, which will highlight any home/career issues you've been dealing with lately. This will be particularly noticeable for Rams born between April 2 - 12, as it will create a T-square with your Natal Sun, thus making it very personal and putting you right in the middle of things. From July 21 - 31 your buddy, Mars, will be in cahoots with Jupiter, and considering that Mars is in your house of work stirring things up, the expansive effects of Jupiter should make all your hard work pay off. The one thing you'll need to look out for, just before all that good stuff begins, is to keep your ego reigned in. You'll have a tendency to be a little too forceful, overbearing, or general trip over your ego via overconfidence, so make sure you don't get too carried away or you could possibly jeopardize those good things trying to come your way.

The month concludes with Venus opposite Neptune. By this time, i.e. between July 25 - August 5, Venus will be in your 5th House of creativity, children, romance, entertainment and speculation. By this time, the Sun will be, too, lighting up this area of your life. Needless to say this is a rather nice place for her to be and again you should harness this energy as you see fit. However, Neptune is the planet of illusion and delusion as well as inspiration, so make sure that one of your friends doesn't mislead you or that you don't get carried away with any hopes or wishes you have for the future.

This month looks like it will be a busy one with your work and career with potential for some serious recognition or advancement, but keep your ego in check. The home front will also keep you hopping in one way or another. Spiritual insights are out there, running in the background, so don't stay so busy that you don't find a few quiet moments to listen. The end of the month should finish on a pleasant note, but don't fall prey to wishful thinking.
