Most of the action this month for Rams will be in your 3rd House of intellect, short journeys, thoughts, and ideas. Thus, if there's anything you're planning, the planets will largely be in your favor this month. One caution, however, in that Mercury, who rules this House and is retrograde (RX) also happens to be hanging out in that location this month. Those of you familiar with Mercury RX know that this tends to honk things up substantially, particularly communication and mechanical devices. With Mercury in Gemini, this will be quite noticeable. Brace yourself, because just about any type of data exchange is going to go awry. The good news, and believe it or not there actually is some, is that this planetary reverse energy is actually useful for something, i.e., to readdress anything that wasn't done correctly the first time. This, of course, is less than enchanting to an Aries, who likes to go forward, not back. Since even you can't argue very effectively with the planets, however, you need to accept the fact and realize that if you can't beat 'em, join 'em. Now is the time to go back and re-do or re-work anything that wasn't right the first go-round. This includes re-planning, rewriting, reassembling, re-searching, and reworking in general. Anything that isn't complete is deserving of another look to assure you didn't miss something. Then, come June 19 when the little beggar goes direct, you'll be prepared to move forward sans obstacles. An aspect that's in effect until June 25 that should assist with this effort is Saturn trining Pluto. Saturn is in Virgo, you're 6th House of work, health and pets, and Pluto will be in both Capricorn, your 10th House of career and reputation as well as Sagittarius, your 9th House of beliefs, legal matters, higher education and long-distance travel. Pluto moved into Capricorn last January amidst substantial ado, but on June 15 he'll slip back into Sagittarius until November 28, after which he'll enter Capricorn again, but this time for good, at least as far as your lifetime is concerned. This provides one last opportunity to take care of any unfinished business in your 9th House. Planetary energy is an incredible ally, a fact that Aries in particular should appreciate. The little known fact is that you have more power than you realize in how this energy is directed. You can choose where to use it, and if you don't exercise this option, then the Universe will do it for you, though you may not like the result. Working with these aspects is something you can do by applying your free will, or forever hold your peace. With Pluto going back into Sagittarius, you get a second chance to use this energy as you see appropriate. You just need to decide where that happens to be. The first thing you need to do is figure out what applies to both your 6th House of work and your 10th House of career that needs to be addressed before June 15; if it can wait until November, then so be it. As a refresher, Saturn is all about responsibility, obligations and boundaries while Virgo is about work and attention to detail. How that can relate to your House of career should be fairly obvious, I would hope, and you have half the month to work it out. After that, you need to figure out what you failed to resolve in your 9th House the last several years. A clue would lie in something you really struggled with and finally swept back under that rug that has something to do with your beliefs (including religion and politics), legal issues (including property transactions, etc.), higher education, and long-distance travel/cultural issues. Something in one of those venues possibly relates to work and you need to take care of business between now and Thanksgiving. So you have some time, but make sure you have it all taken care of in six months because after that you're on your own. The New Moon on June 3 is in Gemini, your 3rd House. New Moons usually herald something new (imagine that!) and again, what that may be is largely up to you. With all the energy in Gemini this month, whatever it happens to be should get a substantial zodiacal jump-start. The Sun is also in Gemini and is traveling all month in conjunction with lovely Venus. This will put off some rather pleasant vibes, though there is one thing to watch out for, especially as a Fire Sign. Needless to say the Sun will easily overpower his companion and likewise your ego could get in the way of anything Venus may try to communicate. Bear that in mind in case anything comes through for which your first reaction is not only a big "No" but "Hell, no!" From June 2 - 11, Venus will sextile your Sign Ruler, Mars. With Venus in your 3rd House of thoughts and ideas and Mars in your 5th, which comprises your creativity, children, ego and romantic inclinations, no doubt you'll come up with some excellent thoughts in whichever of these venues you have the strongest interest. During part of this time, i.e. between June 8 - 11, Mercury RX will join Venus and the Sun, though this may tend to turn your thoughts back to unfinished business. The good news is that the creative element will help you find a way to finish things up, once and for all. Between June 10 - 15, Venus will square quirky Uranus, planet of upsets, surprises, and unexpected events whose over there in Pisces, your 12th House of imagination, inspirations, dreams, spirituality and, one of Aries' least favorite things, hidden enemies. This will be some sort of conflict, but should be relatively short-lived. Be cautious during this period, however, and don't set yourself up in such a way that makes it easy for some sniper to take a pot shot. Between June 14 - 28, Mars will oppose Neptune, who's floating along in Aquarius, your 11th House of groups, organizations, friends, hopes and wishes. These two planets aren't particularly compatible. Mars, as you certainly know, is bounding with energy while Neptune is dreamy, delusional, and in your view probably not wrapped too tight. These two in a tug-o-war implies that any ideas you happen to have that affect others are likely to suffer some undermining, perhaps in a devious or passive-aggressive manner. You know full-well what to do with overt aggression, but you're not always as prepared for covert nonsense by someone too chicken to come out in the open. During this same time, various other planetary aspects will be in effect as well. The Sun/Venus couple will oppose Pluto between June 15 and roughly June 24, give or take a day or two. At this point, as you recall, Pluto will be back in Sagittarius. This may give you a definite reminder regarding what that unfinished 9th House business happens to be and it could tie in to all that other crap as well. Note that the Full Moon occurs in Sagittarius on June 18, which should signify the culmination of something in that House. This doesn't mean that it's over forever on that date, but it could simply mean the end is beginning, if you know what I mean. At any rate, pay attention and I'm sure you'll be able to see how everything fits together quite nicely. Venus enters Cancer on June 19 and the Sun follows suit on the 22nd, shifting their energy to your 4th House of home environment. Note that their opposition to Pluto will be in effect until about that same time. Uranus goes retrograde on June 27, joining several of his outer planet compadres who are likewise doing the backstroke. Jupiter is giving you a few things to think about relative to ethics on the job (either yours or someone else's); Uranus will be disrupting your sense of peace in any way he can, though occasionally he may come forward with some inspired innovation; Neptune is trying to keep you confused about some of your associates and their intent; and Pluto is helping you with that unfinished 9th House business noted earlier. This should be an interesting month that could give you a mental whiplash or two along the way. You're usually more physical than mental, but this month the planets are working with you to put some thought and planning behind your goals as opposed to just jumping in, like you're inclined to do. This is a good opportunity to do some thinking before versus after the fact, particularly while Mercury is telling us all to rewind our tape. Think about how you want to use the energy that's out there to accomplish your goals and then go for it. Get 12 months of your own personalized horoscope for only $19.95!
