This is your month, Gemini, as the Sun, Venus and Mercury transit your sign for the better part of June. The one fly in the ointment is that your Sign Ruler, Mercury, is in another one of his obnoxious retrograde (RX) cycles, which may prove to be distracting in one way or another. As you are probably already aware, data junkie that you are, this promises to mess up communication of all descriptions, particularly when he's in one of his home bases like Gemini (the other one being Virgo, whom he also rules). Cell phones, computers, TVs, traffic lights, mail service, package deliveries, and human conversation and correspondence of all varieties will be honked up. The good news is that it will be over June 19. Until then, however, even your brain probably won't be working as well as it usually does. The good news is that Mercury RX is a favorable period to rework, repair, re-plan or redo just about anything. You get bored easily and may occasionally skip the details, so this is your Zodiacal reminder to go back and check your work. Chances are good that you'll find something you missed, meaning you weren't as ready to go forward as you may have thought. Balancing your checkbook, reviewing your budget, confirming your vacation plans, having your car, appliances, or air conditioning serviced, and so forth are all productive activities that should go well. While the Sun and Venus go through you Sign this month they'll be in conjunction, blending their respective energies. Of course the Sun can overpower lovely Venus, which could serve to throw a rather large portion of ego into the mix, especially about the time it connects with your Natal Sun. Your charm will be enhanced as well, making this slightly more forgivable, but bear that in mind, particularly when dealing with people that you care about. The New Moon is in Gemini on June 3rd, which will be a terrific time for you to look at your personal goals for the coming year. If your birthday happens to fall on that date, give or take a few days in either direction, this will be in effect for the entire year for you as it will be part of your Solar Return. It looks like an ambitious year with lots of new projects and opportunities on the horizon. There are likely to be a few surprises, challenges and annoyances, but in my experience, that can be said about life in general. That Mercury RX may put some emphasis on all that reworking business noted earlier, but that could simply mean that you're not as ready to move forward as you may think in a variety of ways. Take a good, hard look at anything that might be holding you back, including yourself, and once you drop that baggage and institute some additional discipline in your life, progression should return. For a more specific view of what the year holds for you personally, check out our Solar Return Report in the Reports section. Until June 25, Saturn, patron planet of discipline, restrictions, responsibility and obligations, will trine Pluto. Saturn is emanating his stern vibes in your 4th House of home environment while Pluto will be in your 8th House of sex, transformations, and shared resources until the 15th. After that he'll be back in Sagittarius, your 7th House of relationships, since he's also retrograde, but we'll get back to that in a moment. The first half of the June, this aspect will be tutoring you on any 8th House issues that require some attention. While both of these planets tend to be bad actors, in a nice, friendly trine, they're likely to actually do you some good. Once Pluto returns to Sagittarius, you'll get one last chance that will last until November 28 to work on any relationship issues that need fixin'. Relationships in this context comprise not only significant others but any close friends, relatives, or business associates. Anything not taken care of properly during this six month period will have to be done without Pluto's assistance, so it's in your best interest to git 'r' dun. The Full Moon on the 18th in Sagittarius should also help bring something to a conclusion. Between June 2 -11 will be an excellent time for doing all that re-thinking and such necessitated by Mercury RX. That Sun/Venus pair will sextile Mars, who's in Leo, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and short journeys, so even though you may be stuck in reverse in some respects, this should provide some mental energy for what needs to be done, especially between June 8 - 11 when Mercury makes it a trio. Overlapping that time period, i.e. from June 10 - 15, Venus and the Sun will square Uranus, who's lurking in your 10th House of career and reputation, where he's been hanging out for quite a while now. Uranus is another planet who tends to be malefic and in this case it looks like his disruptive energy may generate some sort of crisis regarding your career or reputation with your ego and perhaps income involved. In cases such as these, often a little humility to the tune of mea culpa will do wonders. Moving right along, between June 14 - 28, Mars, the god of war, will oppose dreamy, unrealistic Neptune. As you can imagine, these two aren't exactly the best of friends. Mars, as noted earlier, is in Leo, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, etc. and Neptune is in Aquarius, your 9th House of legal matters, higher education, beliefs (including political and religious) and long distance travel. This definitely smells like a clash of some sort is coming between reality and fantasy concerning something on your mental landscape. It could mean an argument with someone else or perhaps even with yourself. At any rate, during this two week period flip-flopping between these two venues will probably be somewhat the norm. During about this same time, Venus and the Sun will oppose Pluto, who will have just returned to Sagittarius, your 7th House of relationships. If you couldn't figure out before which relationship requires some work, this aspect, which will last roughly until June 24th, give or take a day or two, will probably put it before you in neon lights. This looks like it's going to be a busy month, both mentally and emotionally. Remember that you're driving with the brakes on due to Mercury RX, but there's a lot of unfinished business to attend to regardless to utilize those vibes. As you start a new solar cycle, make sure you make a list of what you want to accomplish next year, including completing all those unfinished projects for which Twins are famous. Mercury undoubtedly does both Geminis and Virgos a tremendous favor when he goes retrograde three times a year. Otherwise, any number of unfinished projects would never see completion.
