This month will be a lively one regarding your career and group interactions. The New Moon on June 3rd is in Gemini, your 10th House of career and reputation, which implies something new is coming your way from that direction. It's important to realize, also, if you don't already, that you can use the planetary energy out there as you see fit. If there's something you want to get started in the House where the New Moon occurs, you simply decide what you want to accomplish and then go for it. If you fail to exercise your free will and use it in a specific way, then the Universe will step in and make up your mind for you. Of course what you get is a total crap-shoot and you may not like it at all, but by not participating in how the energy is distributed, you're stuck. This is one reason, among others, why astrology comes in handy. It puts you in the driver's seat regarding when it's the best time to pursue certain actions in your life.

During most of June the Sun, Venus and Mercury are also cruising along in your 10th House. In fact, the entire month Venus is conjoining the Sun while Mercury is in there part of the time, too, but steadily getting out of step due to the fact that he's retrograde (RX) until June 19. Venus is ordinarily a benefic planet and her beauty is often highlighted by the Sun, though in this case she could be a bit overpowered. Thus, when dealing with relationship or financial issues, particularly as it applies to your career, be aware that your ego may get in the way. Balance this out with an extra dose of logical and try to see things as best you can from the other person's viewpoint. As a practical Earth Sign, Virgo's tend to speak their mind in a candid way that is often perceived as tactless or even brutal by the more sensitive souls of the world, largely represented by Water Signs. Be particularly aware of this and turn on that Virgo charm to counteract it any way you can. Venus moved into Cancer on the 19th and the Sun on the 22nd, which will shift the emphasis from your 10th to your 11th House of friends, groups, organizations and hopes and wishes.

Since Mercury is your Sign Ruler, I may as well remind you again that he's retrograde until the 19th. The good news is that at least he's not in Virgo, but the bad news is that he also rules Gemini, so his reverse-energy will have a significant impact there as well. Gemini is all about data and communication so any conveyance of these concepts will be messed up, from cell phones and computers to traffic lights. Expect them to be messed up and plan accordingly. Remember the cardinal rule to never purchase anything like a communications device, appliance or, heaven forbid, an automobile, during this time. Do without or rent one if absolutely necessary. Not to be a nag, since I know I've said this before, but to take ownership of something influenced by Mercury during one of his RX spells puts a veritable curse on it for the duration. Believe it or not, Mercury RX is good for something, and that is to re-work, re-do, re-edit, or re-plan. Moving forward is likely to be hindered, but going back over something to assure it's in perfect order (one of Virgo's strong points) if favored. So bag any new projects in favor of reviewing existing ones, especially things like vacation plans that would be especially vulnerable at this time. From June 2 - 11 Venus and the Sun will conjoin Mercury RX. This would be a favorable time to take a good hard look at your career status, plans, income potential, and general ambitions, though making actual progress isn't likely until after the 19th.

Until June 25, Saturn, who's in Virgo, your 1st House of personality, will trine Pluto. Saturn is all about boundaries, responsibilities, and obligations, so if you have anything you need to address in one of those areas, now is the time. Pluto starts out the month in Capricorn, your 5th House of creativity, children, ego, entertainment and romance, which he entered amidst much ado in January. It's always a big deal when an outer planet enters a new sign due to their considerable impact upon society as a whole. At any rate, for the first half of the month you need to look at your sense of responsibility as it applies to your creativity, children, etc.

However, since Pluto is retrograde as well as Mercury (and various other planets, for that matter), on June 15 he'll step back into Sagittarius, your 4th House of home environment, where he'll remain until November 28. Thus, if there's anything you want to renovate regarding how you relate to your 5th House before mid-June, then go for it. This could comprise doing research for a creative project, resolving some unfinished business with your children, or perhaps with a romantic interest.

After the 15th, you'll have a second chance to confront and resolve anything related to your home life that wasn't properly taken care of prior to his ingress to Capricorn. This involves your actual abode as well as everyone and everything in it. If all your family relationships are in order, then Pluto in the 4th House tends to expend that energy on such things as messing with your plumbing, electrical system, sewer system or septic tank, etc. and so forth. If you don't already have one, you might consider purchasing a home warranty, because almost as sure as God made little green apples, something is going to spring up at the most inconvenient time. Consider yourself warned. Also note that the Sun - Venus pair will step in to oppose Pluto during roughly this same time, i.e. between June 15 and June 24, give or take a few days. At this time Pluto will be back in Sagittarius, so this is also going to have something to do with your career versus home environment. On June 18th the Full Moon occurs in Sagittarius, providing an additional Zodiacal punch to something culminating in this part of your life.

Between June 10 - 15, Venus will square Uranus in your 7th House of relationships. Remember that this is not only your significant other, but any one-on-one relationships, including close friends and relatives, business partners and so forth. With Venus in your house of career and reputation and Uranus in your house of relationships, it doesn't take a rocket scientist to figure out that you're likely to see on conflict of some sort arise between these two areas. This is self-explanatory enough that I assume further explanation is unnecessary. In fact, this is a pretty common problem so you may not even particularly notice it but just chalk it up to business as usual.

From June 14 - 28, Mars will oppose Neptune. Mars is in your 12th House of inspiration, dreams, spirituality and, unfortunately, hidden enemies. Mars, the god of war, doesn't maintain a very friendly relationship with dreamy, idealistic Neptune as it is. With Mars in the neighborhood of hidden enemies and Neptune, the natural ruler of the 12th, in your 6th House of work, health and pets, this also doesn't take an Einstein to figure out that there's a high probability that someone at work is going to try to undermine you in some way, either by deception or some other covert action. Therefore, be on the lookout for someone to take a pot-shot at you during those two weeks. Again, consider yourself warned.

This is going to be a busy and possibly intense month for you. There's a lot going on with your career, which will undoubtedly present a conflict or two with home and what you'd like to do there. If you have any plans for getting away during that time, don't be surprised if work steps in an forces you to change your plans, especially with Mercury retrograde. There is probably some unfinished business you need to take care of that you may have been avoiding; further procrastination will only make it worse, so harness all that planetary energy to help resolve it, once and for all.
