As the month begins, you only have a few more days, until the 5th to be exact, with energetic Mars in your sign. This may or may not be a good thing. The energy boost is good, but you Twins tend to be direct enough, as a rule, without that extra touch of what can often be perceived as aggression by softer, more emotional types. If there's something you want to get accomplished, direct it toward that, but not toward people or you may have a mess to clean up later that you probably won't enjoy. Once he moves into Cancer, your Natural 2nd House, this effect should diminish. As he transits this sign, which comprises your possessions, finances and pleasures, you'll note a definite change in your level of aggression. Your Sign Ruler, Mercury, is covering his usual amount of ground this month. He doesn't stay in any one place very long, just like yourself, and he's interacting in various ways with his sibling planets during March. He and everyone's favorite sister, Venus, are traveling in close proximity, which will imbue his effects with favorable, friendly glow that should help you communicate any ideas or thoughts you're trying to convey. The first week of the month this pair will be in a somewhat itchy aspect with Jupiter, however, that could feel quite good to you, but annoy the hell out of everyone else. Now that I've tickled that Gemini curiosity, I ought to make you read this entire thing to find out what it is. However, since I have some Gemini in my chart as well, I'm fairly sympathetic to your lack of patience and won't tease you that way as you'd probably quickly blow me off and never come back. So, what you need to watch out for is the tendency to be a bit too flamboyant, condescending (no matter how smart you may be), or possibly exaggerating your abilities, ideas, or even your affections (probably pretty low on the list, but then again, maybe not, with Venus in the queue as well). You may be entirely unaware that you are doing this, so your best bet is to pay close attention to the expressions and body language of anyone with whom you interact that first week of the month. Even a logical Gemini ought to be able to recognize that eye-rolls, wry smiles, or being viewed over the top of one's glasses is an indication that your credibility is probably up there with snakeoil sales or Enron stock. Exercise a bit of deliberate humility and you're likely to get a lot farther. During most of the month, Mars and Pluto are once again in opposition. These are a couple of bad actors when they get together, kind of like it was between you and that friend you had in junior high who was just soooooo much fun, but always seemed to mean trouble. I'm sure you know at least one person who's been in a wreck lately, or if you've been in a hospital emergency room, that it's been inordinately crowded. There have been major explosions and accidents of all sorts, and you can bet this ignominious pair has a lot to do with it. When these two transit your Natal Chart and create similar aspects, trouble of some sort is almost inevitable. Thus, I would be particularly careful this month. Pluto moved into your Natural 8th House of sex, transformation and other people's money back in January and he's going to be there for a long time. During roughly the first three weeks of March while this opposition is in effect, you are more likely than usual to have problems that affect your possessions, finances, and more than likely investments. In other words, events that have a lasting affect on you in a potentially unhappy way are more likely than usual. I already know one Gemini who was run off the road by a drunk driver, but was fortunately unhurt, those her car wasn't so lucky. So don't take anything for granted. Drive defensively, stay away from dark alleys, lock your house and car, secure your valuables, and so forth. No matter how much I like to be accurate in my predictions, I much prefer to hear back on the good stuff than this. Again, be careful. These effects will be further influenced by the Full Moon on the 21st. At that time the Sun will be in Aries, the Moon in Libra, Mars in Cancer and Pluto in Capricorn. If you're a bit familiar with astrology, you'll note that these are all Cardinal Signs, which will throw even more energy into this mix. On top of that, they'll form an aspect known as a Grand Cross, which is seldom something to celebrate, especially with these particular celestial bodies. Note that the 21st is also Good Friday. If you can't avoid traveling Easter Weekend, again, be very, very careful. As the Moon moves on, these rather sobering aspects will become a T-Square, which isn't much better, but then fade into oblivion as a system around the 25th. Now that I've scared you sufficiently, let's talk about what else is out there this month. A long-term aspect that will last until around June 18th starts in March and this one has a lot of good potential, especially if you're hoping to change your career or advance your reputation in some way. This will be a nice sextile between expansive Jupiter and innovative Uranus. Uranus is also the planet of change, surprise and unexpected events, but hopefully in this case it will mean a sudden opportunity that could lead your life in an entirely different direction. Keep your eyes open and be alert to anything that sounds appealing and could take you in that direction, especially between March 4 - 14 when the Sun will be in conjunction with Mr. Change and Disruption, a.k.a. Uranus. This could possibly be something that doesn't appear particularly positive at the time, but could lead to other things that you'll like over the coming weeks or possibly months. So if something occurs in your career that seems less than pleasant at the time, don't panic, but keep looking for that proverbial silver lining. On the other hand, maybe something profoundly wonderful, like a sudden promotion, could come along as well, but I just want to warn you that it might not be immediately obvious whether it's good or bad. The New Moon on the 7th is in this same territory and could give it even more punch, so don't be surprised if something occurs in this area of your life. Between March 3 - 13, that Venus - Mercury pair I noted earlier will be paying a close visit to Neptune in the form of another conjunction, currently in your 9th House of legal matters, long distance travel, higher education, religion and politics. Neptune tends to have a similar effect to dropping something in a bucket of water. It may dissolve, or it could become warped or water-logged, or simply look distorted. On the other hand, if you've ever done any scuba diving or even looked at some of those beautiful pictures taken beneath the ocean, you also know how peaceful and inspiring he can be. Again, somewhat like Uranus, you can't be sure what to expect. Since you're logical by nature, you should be able to handle this fairly well and it could be something very useful. You could come up with some amazing ideas relative to any of those 9th House issues noted earlier. You may conceive the trip of a lifetime, finally recognize what you want to study in school, find the perfect religion, or perfect politician. Well, forget the last one, but you get the idea. Beauty, prosperity, the ability to access good information, and an extra dose of inspiration are all very possible. Exploit it for all it's worth. As the month progresses, Venus and Mercury will also be contacting Pluto, but not quite as intimately as they did Neptune. These aspects, which will occur between March 11 - 18, give or take a day or two, will be sextiles. Remember that sextiles usually bring opportunities and these are also occurring between your house of career and reputation and Pluto's abode in your 8th of transformation. You're certainly bright enough to do the math on that one and see that is even more energy relative to significant changes in your career. Even more influence in this area is afoot when Venus and Mercury throws a nice, harmonious trine to Mars, roughly between March 12 - 21. This would be a very favorable time to apply for a new position or ask for a raise in an assertive, but not demanding, manner. You'll likely to be perceived in a positive way, particularly if you throw some effort behind it. A blip is possible on the home front between March 13 - 20 as this same pair throw an opposition to Saturn in your 4th House of home environment. Saturn is all about boundaries, obligations, and responsibility, so it's possible that your career or travel aspirations may receive a bit of a sanity check during that time. Use that inherent logic of yours to figure out a suitable solution. The answer could possibly lie in a few adjustments that could come to light a few days later as the Sun throws a quincunx to Saturn. As Venus and Mercury continue their trek through your house of career and reputation, they'll be also passing through Uranus' territory by way of conjunction between March 24 - April 2, give or take a few days. Thus, more changes or surprises, probably also relative to your career, are likely then as well. Getting the picture? The final aspect for the month will be when the Sun squares Mars between March 25 - April 5. This is another one that could be less than enchanting and is the gradually fading of the T-Square mentioned earlier. The Sun will be Aries at that time, so there will be a lot of aggression associated with it. Aries is your 11th House of groups, associations, friends, hopes and wishes. I would keep a somewhat suspicious eye on this bunch during that time and not loan anything out of any sort, including money, and again make sure everything stays nicely secured. It goes without saying that this is likely to be a significant month. You need to be extra careful about a variety of things relative to your possessions during most the month, yet at the same time it's likely you'll see a lot of favorable action and opportunities coming along regarding your career and reputation. If there's one thing the universe is good for is assuring that our lives contain a mixed bag and this month is no exception. The good news here is that you're not likely to get bored this month, which I know is something you dislike as much as anything. Bon chance.
