RX Planets:  Saturn until 05/03

This month should be a lively and interesting one for Virgos.  Your Sign Ruler, Mercury, and Venus will be traveling the Zodiac together in a nice cozy conjunction.  Thus, as they move along, making various aspects to the other planets, their effects will blend.  Being as Venus is usually quite benefic, and Mercury is all about communications, it looks as if your ability to express yourself will be enhanced and any information you seek will be favorable.  This is not to say that the month will be a bed of roses, because Mars and Pluto, the two bad actors of the Zodiacal set, will be up to no good.  The Universe is all about oppositions, however, and it's rare to even have a single day that we could call "perfect," especially for Virgos, who are know for being able to spot the hidden flaw from 200 yards.  So without further ado, let's see what the month holds.

The first week of the month, our traveling duo, who'll be in your 6th House of work, health and pets, will make a somewhat itchy aspect to Jupiter, which would create an annoyance or nuisance of some description.  Jupiter is currently hanging out in Capricorn, your Natural 5th House of creativity, children, love affairs, ego and entertainment.  Blend these two together and it looks as if there's going to be a blip of some sort related to work and your kids.  It doesn't take a giant stretch of the imagination to do the math on that one.  I'm sure those of you out there who don't have any children will be able to plug in one of the other areas covered by the 5th and find something similar.  None of these planets are inherently malefic.  About the worst thing you can say about Jupiter is he can bring about inflated ideas, over-confidence, or exaggeration.  So something along those lines is likely to be a factor, but none of this is anything worth worrying about (which of course is the wrong thing to say to a Virgo, but you get the idea.)

As long as we're talking about Jupiter, I may as well also mention that between the first part of March through the middle of June, Jupiter will be casting a nice, friendly sextile to Uranus.  Sextiles usually bring an opportunity and this one gives you about three and a half months to figure out what it is.  Remember that Jupiter, planet of luck and expansion, is in your 5th house of creativity and lovelife while Uranus, planet of change, surprises, and unexpected events, is in your 7th House of relationship.  That certainly sounds like a good opportunity for meeting someone special.  For those of you who may be in a stable relationship this can mean further renewal of the existing one, or perhaps someone else will come into your life that will simply be a good friend or business partner since the 7th House covers all one-on-one relationships, not just significant others.  At any rate, this sounds promising so keep your eyes open for opportunities to meet someone who may turn out to be important in your life.  Between March 4 - 14, the Sun will conjoin Uranus, throwing a whole lot more energy and light into this change and surprise scenario.  The New Moon on the 7th will bring even more implications for a new start or phase.  If your birthday happens to fall roughly between September 8 - 14, this is even more likely to bring something significant into your life.

The first stop Mercury and Venus will make during their trek will be a conjunction to Neptune between March 3 - 13 in your 6th House  of work, health and pets.  Virgo rules this house on the Universal level, so these are areas of life that are very important to you.  Venus and Mercury are trailing some good ideas and pleasant conversations while Neptune tends to dissolve boundaries and sometimes show the world through those proverbial rose colored glasses.  Realism isn't his forte, but inspiration is, so there's no telling what this could do.  This could conceivably bring about a very inspired idea that is definitely outside the box, but make sure you let your Earth Sign common sense shine through and get the data to back it up before you try to sell it to the boss.

The next aspect on the Mercury - Venus itinerary will be a sextile to Pluto between March 11 - 18.  Pluto is also hanging out in your 5th House of creativity and during the time span the traveling duo will slip into Pisces, your 7th house of relationships.  This is more than likely going to dredge up some old memories relative to old lovers.  However, with a soft aspect like this, they're likely to be pleasant, or at the least, not overly painful.  Maybe this new acquaintance you're about to meet will remind you of someone from your past or maybe, worst case, you'll simply think about some of your past mistakes and how you'll do better this time.

From there it will be a trine to Mars between March 12 - 21.  A Venus - Mars trine from your house of relationships to your 11th House of friends should likewise have positive implications.  Perhaps this is where you'll meet this new person, through your friends or a group association of some sort, maybe even at work.  This implies a good month to do some socializing, so don't make excuses and pass by the opportunity it may offer.  During about this same time, that transiting inner planet team is going to throw a quincunx to Saturn, who's currently residing in your 1st House of personality.  A quincunx usually necessitates an adjustment of some sort, or to defend your position.  Saturn is all about responsibility and obligations, and knowing that this is one of Virgo's strong suits, this could be something that comes along that tries to detract or distract you from doing something pleasant.  It's up to you to balance these things out.  Just bear in mind you don't want to be so responsible that you cut yourself off from an opportunity of some sort that may be waiting out there with your name on it.

Now's about the time that I can't avoid talking about that Mars - Pluto opposition any longer.  This will be creating a tug-o-war of some sort between something in your past that was never resolved, possibly relative to your children or lovers, and some possible confrontation coming from a group of some type, whether it be friends or a formal organization.  This will be in effect from the beginning of the month until roughly the 18th, at which time the Sun will position himself between the two and create a T-Square.  At this point, the tug-o-war is likely to develop into a crisis of some type which will last until the 25th.  During this time the Sun will enter Aries, in other words, go from your 7th house of relationships to your 8th house of sex, death & regeneration, transformation and other people's money.  Needless to say, this is a fairly intense area that usually has a very target-rich environment for conflict or crisis material.

This will be further influenced by the Full Moon on the 21st when the Moon will be in Libra, your 2nd House of possessions, finances, and pleasures.  At that time, the Moon will effectively turn the T-Square into a Grand Cross.  Furthermore, with the Sun in Aries, Moon in Libra, Pluto in Capricorn and Mars in Cancer, it will be a Cardinal (sign) Grand Cross, giving it a whole lot of energy and potential for strong significance.  This is best described in a figurative sense as four very strong, independent people who like to be in charge, are very different in their personalities, and each have a very different idea for which they're in a room competing for the same pot of money to make it happen.  The ingredients for Virgo's relationship for the Grand Cross include something that will involve either your financial situation or sex life in crisis with your children or lover, which will in turn be in opposition to some sort of group.  This could also manifest as some creative project you want to put together with some friends, but your significant other and checkbook don't exactly agree.  The Moon will quickly get out of the way, then after the 25th, the T-Square will fade as the Sun continues on its path.  The square to Mars will be in effect until April 5, but from that point on whatever this particular crisis was should be resolved.

Between March 22 - 26 the Sun will quincunx Saturn, once again reminding you of your obligations.  The final shot from the Mercury - Venus pair will be between March 24 - 29 when the pair will be in conjunction with Uranus, planet of change and unexpected events.  This will be in your 7th House of relationships and will likely bring something that surprises you to whatever was going on in that area, as noted earlier.  It's a good chance it will be something positive, but Uranus is hard to call, or he wouldn't be known as unpredictable.  If your birthday falls between approximately September 8 - 14, this is even more likely to have an impact that requires some negotiations, along with that New Moon noted earlier.

All in all this should be a very active month on various fronts.  There are few things that take up more of our time and emotional energy than our livelihood, relationships, and finances to say nothing of our friends and children.  This is not to say that these will be earth-shattering events, but more than likely at month's end when all is said and done, if you look back objectively you'll realize that just about everything you did had to do with one of those areas.  Bon chance.
