This month there will be a lot of activity that centers around your home and family. This is homebase for Crabs, so you should enjoy this tremendously. You'll also be giving a lot of thought to your relationships, which include not only your significant other but close friends, relatives and business associates. If you're in business for yourself, this also includes patronage.

There is also an interesting aspect that involves three outer planets that is worth mentioning, particularly since it is in effect all month. This includes Saturn, who imposes structure and responsibility wherever he travels; Uranus, planet of disruptions, change, and unexpected events; and Jupiter, who is usually considered lucky and expands what he touches. These three planets are configured in an aspect known as a Triangle of Potential, which involves a challenge that can be resolved by directing your energy in the right direction.

In this case, you'll be thinking a lot about your responsibilities and obligations and may encounter something that is going to change your beliefs in some way. School, politics, religion, or even a trip somewhere relatively far away are likely to be involved as well. The key to determining where you stand will be found in evaluating your relationships. Once you figure out what you priorities are with that, the rest should fall into place, perhaps in a totally surprising way that you never would have thought of before. Family is extremely important to Crabs and if you've been downplaying that in any way whatsoever, it will create a sense of unrest and discontent. Put them at the top and the rest of your life is likely to fall into place quite nicely.

During the first week of the month there will be a lot of energy directed toward your 5th House of children, romance, creativity, ego and entertainment as Mars moves through that area in sextile to Pluto. Pluto is in your 6th House of work, health and pets. This is where you do the mix and match routine between the respective house elements and see what comes up as a match in your life this month. Pluto, among other things, likes to unearth old issues that need to be resolved, in this case with respect to your job or health. If you've been working too hard and neglecting those pleasant 5th House elements, maybe it's time to reassess what you're doing.

From October 3 - 11 the Sun will square Jupiter, which will call attention to your home environment and your relationships that affect it. Remember that Jupiter tends to expand what he touches, so there's a chance that a relationship of some description will interfere with your home life in some manner. Mercury is retrograde in your 4th House of home environment until October 16, which will affect communications in this area. While Mercury RX is usually good for a lot of confusion and misperceptions, when you're discussing something that needs to be reassessed, reworked, or reconsidered, he actually works in your favor. So look for something that escalates this month that calls attention to something that isn't quite right and needs a few tweaks. There's a good chance that you'll be inspired in some way such that you see things differently than you did before, which will have a transformational effect on you and help you figure out how to solve whatever challenge is before you.

From October 19 - 26 when the Sun is sextile Pluto, you'll have the opportunity to resolve some issue that's been causing a conflict between your job and home life. The Full Moon on the 14th will bring the culmination of something that's been going on for the past month regarding your career. Knowing how the planets work together, you can see how these different aspects all seem to be pointing in the same direction, in this case issues that relate to your home, children, creativity, and work.

When Mars is sextile Jupiter between October 22 - 31 your relationships are going to be involved yet again and present an opportunity to pursue something you're wanting to do either with your children, hobbies, or other fun pursuit. Remember that relationships include all one-on-one interactions. The New Moon on October 28th will help this along as well, implying something new is afoot in this area.

There's a lot going on this month with home, family and work and a transformation change in how you handle all these activities in trying to get your attention. Give serious consideration to your priorities and whether you're "shoulding" on yourself or doing what is really in your heart. I think you know which one should be the number one consideration.
