This month It looks as if your job and relationships are going to be active areas of your life. There are also some long-term aspects involving the outer planets that are stirring up a few things as well. For the entire month, Saturn will oppose Uranus. Saturn is in your 5th House of children, lovers, creativity and entertainment while Uranus is still in your 11th House of groups, organizations, hopes and wishes. Saturn isn't a particularly friendly planet. Rather, he's not only sober and serious, but a stern task master when it comes to responsibility and meeting your obligations. Ordinarily, your 5th House should be a rather pleasant part of your life, but Saturn has probably been putting a damper on things since September 2007.

Uranus, on the other hand, is the planet of surprises, upsets, sudden change, and unexpected events with a touch of rebellion thrown in to make things even more interesting. Saturn is about stability and Uranus is as unstable as a planet can get, so put these two across the zodiac from each other and there's no telling what you'll wind up with. For example, if you've been working at introducing more structure and responsibility into your romantic or parenting interests, a disruption is probably brewing in one of your group or organizational interests or possibly your friends. At any rate, expect one or all of them to generate a few surprises that could interfere with time you really ought to spend with your children or significant other.

There is some good news for your 5th House, however. During this same time, Jupiter will throw a nice, harmonious trine to Saturn. Jupiter, who is considered lucky and tends to expand what he touches, is in your 9th House of beliefs, academia, legal matters, and long distance travel. Your 5th House includes your creativity, and if you've been working on something in that area, probably with some help from Saturn to give it a solid foundation, this trine from Jupiter could provide some extra help to get it off the ground. This is likely to relate to something in the legal arena such as a contract or perhaps legal protection for your project. Other possibilities are a connection to higher education or a relatively long trip that opens up other possibilities.

Mars has been stirring things up at work for a while and this will continue when he sextiles Pluto during the first week of the month. This will generate an opportunity to resolve some long-standing issue that either relates to your work (or possibly your health) that's been swept under the rug for quite a while now. Pluto tends to dig things up that we don't particularly want to deal with, but it's important to remember that Pluto is also involved with healing. After the 5th, Mars moves into Scorpio, your 7th House of relationships, which will bring a lot of energy to that part of your life. You'll be more involved with others than usual and with your Sign Ruler, Venus, there as well until the 19th, if you're looking for a romantic relationship, there could be some possibilities in that area. The New Moon on October 28 also indicates a new relationship is a possibility.

From October 3 - 11 the Sun will square Jupiter. The Sun will be in your house of work and health until the 24th, bringing emphasis to that area, while expansive Jupiter, as noted earlier, is in Capricorn, your 9th House of beliefs, academia, legal matters, and so forth. This implies that something you're trying to take care of either at work or regarding your health is going to encounter some conflict, either from an unexpected trip, a shift in your beliefs, or possibly school.

From October 10 - 18, the Sun will trine Neptune, which will bring some positive energy, perhaps in the form of inspiration, to your 10th House of career and reputation. If you've been trying to figure out what you want to be when you grow up, this may be just the boost you need to figure it out. Mix that in with all those possibilities for school, long distance travel, and so forth, and there's no telling how this astrological soup could come out. The Full Moon on the 14th is in your 12th House of inspiration, dreams, and spirituality. This will mark the culmination of something in this area of your life that's been in work during the past month. When the Sun sextiles Pluto from October 19 - 28, expect something of a transformation nature to occur, perhaps at work. Pluto is in your 8th House, a home away from home for the god of the Underworld, which not only drives personal transformations and unforgettable experiences that change our perspective on life, but also includes sex, death and other people's resources. This is a positive aspect that should bring an opportunity, so pay attention to what's going on that you should take advantage of to achieve a new level of understanding or to resolve something from the past that's be holding you back in some way.

Mars will sextile Jupiter from October 22 - 31, another friendly aspect that will bring yet another opportunity. Mars will be in your 7th House of relationships while Jupiter is in your 9th. This could herald a new friend or associate from an institution of higher learning, within the legal profession, a politician, or possibly from your church. It never hurts to have friends in high places, so take advantage of this as well.

This looks like a good month to get out and meet some new people in all areas of your life. You aren't a frivolous socializer, but are more likely to have a few select, trusted friends that you've had for a long time. This is all well and good, and I know that Bulls aren't comfortable with change, but it's important that you branch out occasionally and expand your horizons. It's particularly important that you do so this month as these folks you meet are likely to come in very handy later.
