The emphasis this month will be on your relationships with some long-term expansion of a positive nature ramping up in your work/career area. The latter is attributable to Jupiter currently lining up in a nice, friendly trine with Saturn, which will last until the middle of December. Saturn, planet of discipline, responsibility, and obligations, is motivating some major changes in your 6th House of work, health, and pets while Jupiter, planet of expansion and optimism, is in your 10th House of career and reputation. This is a very positive aspect for increasing your responsibilities at work and using that to advance your career in some way. It will get an extra boost between September 4 - 8, when the Sun jumps into the act and cozies up to Saturn, so if you're actively pursuing something in this part of your life, that's a favorable time to put it into action. Remember that work and career are related, but not the same. Work relates to your day job while career can be something you'll be known for that is entirely different. For example, you may make a living as a policeman, then go home and write mystery novels, which is where you heart truly is, regardless of whether or not it ever pays off financially.

Saturn in your 6th House can also affect your health. Up until now, however, as Saturn has occupied Virgo, which began a year ago in September 2007, you have probably encountered some health issues. Saturn influences chronic diseases, calcification, obstructions, skin problems and tissue hardening while Virgo rules such things as intestinal and nervous disorders. Thus, if you've encountered any problems that meet that description, particularly in the last year, you now have some idea where they came from.

Uranus and Neptune have been linked up via a semi-sextile in mutual reception for quite a while, but that is just about over. Mutual reception means that each planet is in the sign the other one rules, so there's a lot of synergy with the energies. A semi-sextile can be a bit of an itchy aspect, so this could easily have been stirring up annoying issues related to your coworkers, group interactions, or even various speedbumps inhibiting your pursuit of your hopes and wishes, but this should start to fade away by the end of the month. It's particularly interesting to note that Sarah Palin's Natal Sun is currently conjoining Neptune, drawing some obviously heavy energy from this aspect in her direction.

From September 3 - 18 there's a lot of interesting things happening in your 7th House of relationships. It starts out with Mars squaring Jupiter from September 3 - 13. Remember that the 7th House involves all one-on-one relationships, not just your significant other. Close friends and relatives, business associates, and so forth, are also included in this realm. If you're in business for yourself, it also includes your patrons, clients or customers. This implies some conflicts are out there that will cause some aggressive encounters that could affect your career or reputation. Since Aries is ruled by Mars, the probability is fairly high that you'll be the aggressor, so be prepared to put forth an extra effort to keep your temper under control or it might cause you more problems than the indulgence is worth. Fortunately, Mars is in Libra, which calms him down somewhat with an increased sense of fairness, but be aware, regardless. The New Moon on September 29 is also in your 7th House of relationships and shows a lot of potential of a romantic nature, so keep your eyes open for someone new to enter your life.

Overlapping this period, from September 7 - 18, Mars and Venus will be in a bear hug and who knows what else, with the pair sharing that square to Jupiter. Ordinarily, Mars and Venus in conjunction in Libra should bode well for romance, but Jupiter could bring some interference from your career in between you and your sweetie in some way, e.g. keeping you at the office after hours. Mercury, who rules communications, isn't helping things any, since he's squaring Jupiter as well during a large chunk of that timeframe, but you'll get a chance to readdress any unresolved issues between September 24 - October 15 when he goes retrograde. Venus will square Jupiter during about this same time as well. Both planets are generally benefic, however, so this shouldn't be too worrisome. You may be prone to exaggeration or overindulgence in some way, but chances are it won't cause much trouble.

On the other hand, from September 10 - 16 the Sun will oppose Uranus, which could cause a few disruptions or surprises that might not be too enchanting. The Sun will be in Virgo during this time, which as previously mentioned is your 6th House of work, health and pets. The Sun generally highlights an area in some way, which usually isn't a bad thing, but with Uranus over there in your 12th House of dreams, inspiration, and hidden enemies, there's no telling what could develop. If there's anyone at work who unbeknownst to you is out to get you, they're likely to do something at this time to cause some trouble. On the other hand, you might simply have some dreams or inspiration come along that isn't compatible with work, which is certainly a credible scenario since not that many people can honestly say that they love their job. It could even be a decision point where you finally decide to find something else, who knows? The Full Moon this month is on the 15th in Pisces, and just happens to fall quite close to Uranus, which will further emphasize this influence and also implies it will represent an ending of some sort. Another possibility is an unexpected health issue could arise.

Directly following that potential disturbance that is likely to occur at work or health-wise, Mercury will trine Neptune, which should be a rather pleasant break. Mercury rules your thoughts, which in this case are likely to be centered on your relationships, and dreamy, idealistic Neptune in your 11th House of friends implies some pleasant conversations and perhaps some shared hopes or wishes along the way. This will be in effect from September 17 - October 3, so be sure to plan at least one evening out with your friends during this time. With all that other crap going on at work, you could probably use the break.

The Sun will square Pluto from September 18 - 25. This will serve to exhume some hidden elements regarding your beliefs, or an academic or legal issue that again could relate to your work or health. Again, if you're not happy with your job, this could help you further define exactly what you dislike and help you find a more appropriate venue. The last week or so of the month Mars and Venus will sextile Pluto, which will present an opportunity that has the potential for having a transformational effect on you. Mars will also trine Neptune, which will give you some drive and energy toward pursuing some of those dreams that have been surfacing lately.

Be sure to guard your health this month, pay attention at work, and give some thought to what you really want to be when you grow up. Relationships are emphasized as well, so expect a lot of personal interactions, some of which might be significant.
