May 2007

Grenades (March 21 – April 20): Grenades will be unstoppable this month. Just make sure you direct all that aggression in the right direction. If you're away from home, you may miss it more than usual so kiss up to the com guy and surprise your sweetie with a phone call. All sorts of crap is going on with the political scene these days that could affect future assignments. Sit tight for now.

Tanks (April 21 – May 21): Your Hoorah! factor is likely to be high this month, but don't go doing something stupid like picking a fight, especially if you've knocked back a few too many beers. You'll probably be the first one to jump in if someone needs some help, especially a listening ear, but don't loan out any money unless you don't give a rat's ass about getting it back.

F-16 Fighting Falcons (May 22 – June 21): After the 11th you'll be as sharp as a new HUD, so make use of it however you can. A confrontation of some sort is likely the second half of the month so be prepared. Take good care of your weapon and it'll take good care of you.

Foxholes (June 22 – July 22): Your popularity should be strong, even if its only evidenced by an increase in the usual array of complaints that you listen to daily from your buddies. On the positive side, it's a good time to call in a favor or ask for a loan, just don't ask a Tank. It's also a really good time to be working toward that promotion.

Carbines (July 23 – August 23): Something could come up this month that results in a transfer so keep your eyes open. If you're overseas, be especially alert for acts of aggression. Your superior officers will notice you this month, so keep those salutes snappy.

Drill Sergeants (August 24 – September 22): If you're concerned about something going on at home, don't worry, things have a way of working themselves out. Besides, worry won't do any good anyway and could distract you from the business at hand. Don't take any unnecessary risks, pay attention, and don't get lost in details. Interactions within your company should go well.

Tracers (September 23 – October 23): If there's a conflict of some sort with your buddy or significant other this month you may surprise them when you react more strongly than usual. Talk to the chaplain or a good friend so it doesn't eat at you. Superior officers should view you favorably this month, so stay sharp and don't screw up.

Submarines (October 24 – November 22): Pay close attention to your weapons and other items this month to make sure they're in proper working order so they're ready when needed. You may be a bit restless about your assignment or encounter a conflict of some sort to which you react in an overly aggressive manner. Communications with home should be frequent and clear. A long trip or training exercise should go well.

Howitzers (November 23 – December 21): Your creativity is in high gear so put it to good use. Your buddies are likely to have some really good ideas if you pay attention. Things should be going smoothly with your partner and if you're unattached, you might meet someone new and interesting.

M16s (December 22 – January 20): Don't take it personally if the people in your immediate environment are more aggressive than usual. Your best bet is to tune it out with your MP3 player or a game of solitaire. Your work assignment should go smoothly as well as getting along with your partner or significant other.

Buddies (January 21 – February 18): Your thinking will be energetic and more aggressive than usual this month. There will be a lot going on in your immediate environment with a possible new phase of operations coming into play. Your assignments should go well with your efforts viewed favorably.

Torpedoes (February 19 – March 20): Keep a sharp eye on your possessions this month and make sure they're in good working order. On the positive side, you'll have a new appreciation for your home away from home this month and it looks like some fun is on the horizon.
