The action for Librans this month will lie largely in Leo, your 11th House of friends, groups, associations, organizations, and hopes and wishes. Needless to say this sounds rather pleasant and right in keeping with your need for interaction with those around you. This gets kicked off on August 1st by the New Moon, which also occurs in Leo. This, of course, figures since by definition the New Moon is a conjunction between the Sun and Moon. However, besides been a conjunction of degree, it will also be one of declination, which means that this one will be a solar eclipse as well. Eclipses have a lot more punch than the usual lunation with their effects lasting until until they're closed out by a Full Moon eclipse approximately six months later. This New Moon eclipse will conjoin Mercury, giving it a flavor that includes creative, romantic, or child-related ideas. It is also in square to the asteroid, Vesta, which is currently in Taurus, your 8th House of sex, death, shared resources, and transformations. Vesta influences such things as service and dedication, which implies social activities are going to conflict in some manner with doing things that may have deeper meaning. If your birthday is within a few days one way or the other of October 2, this will be felt even stronger and will open up opportunities for experiences that will help you manager your time in a balanced manner the provides more time and commitment to personal renewal and growth.

The Sun/Mercury conjunction will linger until August 5th, which will stimulate ideas and activities related to groups of people as well as any of your deeply held hopes and wishes. As an Air Sign you enjoy talking with people and communicating in general, and this desire will increase. Keep your cell phone charged because you'll be using it a lot to talk and text the people in your life. During this same time, your Sign Ruler, Venus, will oppose Neptune. Venus at this time will be in that House of friends and Neptune will be in your 5th House of creativity, romance, children, ego and entertainment. Dreamy Neptune and romantic Venus can be a rather pleasant combination, but in a hard aspect like an opposition you need to make sure that any inspiration is within the realm of reality. It's fun to brainstorm and enjoy your fantasies, but make sure you don't confuse them with fact. Venus will add a bit more drama to this by trining Pluto during this same time. Pluto is in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys. This will provide some added insight into your associations that may help you sort out those that are worth keeping and those that just take up more time than they're worth.

Also in effect early in the month and lasting until August 12, Mars will oppose Uranus. Mars is in your 12th House of inspiration, dreams, spirituality, and hidden enemies while Uranus is in you 6th House of work, health/fitness and pets. This implies that someone, perhaps a coworker, may take your by surprise by trying to undermine you in some manner. They may not even do so intentionally, but it's out there. This will most likely arise due to something coming up at work that disrupts the general flow. This has probably been happening a lot lately, but this one will affect you more than most. As Mars eases away from his connection with Uranus, he'll slide into orb with Pluto, forming a square, that will last from August 10 - 24. This is a rather unfriendly combination all around, and knowing how uncomfortable you are with contention or confrontation, you probably won't like this very much, which will probably manifest as a power struggle of some sort. It could also be an internal dialog between your dreams and the realization that they're flawed or not feasible. The Sun will oppose Neptune about that same time, which should help identify any delusion or deception involved. This will be further assisted by a conjunction between Mercury and Venus from August 13 - 31, which will deliver a welcome positive spin to it all to help sort things out in a favorable manner.

The Full Moon occurs on August 16 in Aquarius, your 5th House of creativity, romance, ego and children. Neptune gets into the act with this, as well, which should lend some positive inspiration to it all, except for the fact that you still need to keep an eye on reality. The Full Moon comes with a Grand Earth Trine with a bunch of planets including Venus, Mercury and Saturn clustered together in your 12th House. This stellium should bring some pleasant resolutions to any spiritual issues and help bring some structure and solidity to any inspiration. Also party to the Grand Trine will be Jupiter, who will expand the activities at home, and the asteroid, Vesta, who also was involved with the New Moon earlier in the month, and relates to service, dedication, and rituals. Bear in mind that this Full Moon is also an eclipse and thus heralds the culmination of something that started about six months ago with a New Moon eclipse. There are enough positive aspects to indicate a positive conclusion, though you still need to make sure you have a firm grip on reality. Again, being a logical Air Sign should help you accomplish that, unless your chart is overly influenced by contradictory indicators.

From August 17 - 26 the Sun will trine Pluto. During the time the Sun will leave your 11th House of friends and groups and enter your 12th of inspiration and spirituality. This will shift your introspections from one to the other in a very natural manner that should provide some useful insights into both. From August 10 - 31 Jupiter will trine Saturn, which will personalize some of those inspirational thoughts or dreams and bring them into your homelife in a big way. This will include a strong sense of discipline or possibly even obligation. This will be further reinforced by the second New Moon this month on the 30th, which also occurs in Virgo, your 12th House, and implies something new is afoot in the dreams and inspiration department.

As the month draws to a close, that Venus/Mercury pair will square Pluto, which will introduce some conflicting thoughts to that inspired dialog as you discover a few elements you hadn't considered before. These elements could be thoughts or they could be individuals, whose behavior is enough of a turnoff that you give your associations some serious thought. From August 29 - 31 the Sun will trine Saturn, putting even more emphasis on your spiritual responsibilities and/or how much effort you really want to put into achieving your dreams.

This will obviously be a busy month with lots of mental activity on a variety of planes. Values, priorities, and how you spend your time will all come under consideration in one way or another and your decisions will have a strong impact on your future. We can all waste time with the wrong activities and wrong people, and this will be a time when you'll consider doing some housecleaning with respect to both. This is not a bad thing.
