This month the bulk of the action is in your 12th House of spirituality, dreams, inspiration and hidden enemies as well as your 1st House of personality. Thus, the inner and outer you is going to receive quite a going over as you come into your Solar Return period, further kicked off by that New Moon on December 27. Your charm will be in high gear for a day or so around December 1st when friendly Venus comes into conjunction with Jupiter in Capricorn. This will truly expand upon your positive traits such that you could sell ice cubes to the proverbial Eskimo. If you need to sell yourself or one of your ideas, take advantage of this while it lasts. This conjunction happens about once a year, but it's not going to happen in your Sign for a long time. Venus will be back in your Sign in about a year, but by the time she won't catch up with Jupiter until the pair reaches Pisces, so play this one for all its worth.

From December 5 - 6 Mercury will be forming a T-Square with Uranus and Saturn. Mercury will still be in Sagittarius, your 12th House at the time, so the information is going to be flowing at the spiritual level beyond your conscious mind. Within that realm a conflict will be brewing between your thoughts and long-standing beliefs. Saturn, your Sign Ruler, has a strong influence on you, which will incline you to hold onto and defend your beliefs whereas quirky Uranus is cruising along in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys. Thus, new ideas could come along that force a change in your core beliefs.

Other possibilities include numerous 9th House issues such as legal matters, higher education, and even relocation. Something is going to be happening in one of these areas, the result or answer to which is going to have a spiritual basis. Right around that same time the Sun and Mars will be in conjunction, throwing even more energy toward some inspiration. Your dreams will be particularly vivid during this time. Pay attention to them as they'll contain an important message that you'll be able to figure out, regardless of how obscure the symbolism may be, if you give it enough thought.

Right around this same time, i.e. the 7th, Mercury will sextile Neptune, which will bring even more inspiration your way that will involve an opportunity of some description regarding your finances or perhaps something you've been planning to buy. Neptune can be deceptive, however, so do some research before making any big decisions. Nonetheless, we're in an awkward economic situation right now and maybe a different approach is warranted, so your best bet is probably to go with your gut feeling. If you find a superb deal of some sort, don't go into debt for it and think long and hard about whether you really need it or not if it represents a big investment. If you can wait until the 8th Pluto will help you with this decision since he excels at rooting out hidden information, even though you may not particularly like it.

On December 9th Venus and Mars will be in a rather irritating position which will have a couple of effects, including making it difficult to deal with the opposite sex, who will probably be getting on your nerves in one way or another. It will also be driving you toward something that have either financial or relationship obstacles involved. On the 10th something unexpected is on the agenda. This could be someone undermining you in some way, intentionally or otherwise. On the 11th more tension is likely to erupt regarding your finances or possessions and some other unexpected event or disruption. This could relate to your neighborhood, a short trip, or be no more than a thought.

The Full Moon on the 12th comes with quite a punch. Full Moons usually indicate a culmination of some sort and with the Moon in Gemini, your 6th House, this could relate to your job or health in some way. In addition, there is a Mutable Grand Cross that involves Saturn, Mars, and Uranus in addition to the Sun and Moon. By definition, a Grand Cross involves four squares and two oppositions, neither of which are friendly aspects, so expect a lot of conflict requiring negotiations. If you're trying to accomplish something, unexpected delays are likely, particularly as they relate to your 9th House of legal matters, academia, long distance travel or relocation, or your core beliefs. Also accompanying the Full Moon will be a conjunction between Mercury and Pluto, which should bring some deep insights into something or reveal previously unknown information, perhaps even about yourself. If you're trying to make any hard decisions, this should be very helpful to you to see the problem in depth, discern facts, and have a comprehensive view of what's at stake.

The next day on the 13th more inspiration is coming your way that should yield an opportunity, though it could also simply be a total lack of motivation and the irresistible urge to kick back and do nothing. You be the judge on whether you can afford that or not. On the 15th when Mars squares Saturn more obstacles are likely to hinder your progress on anything you're trying to achieve at this time. I hate to tell you this, but it will probably get even worse come December 31 when Saturn goes retrograde. Believe me, I don't like this any better than you, 'cause as a fellow Cappy I have to deal with this crap, too, and I have a lot of ambitious plans for this month. So believe me, if I could change it, I would.

On the 16th you're really going to want to move forward with whatever inspiration you have going with your finances or material goods. Inaccurate or dated information will probably get in your way, however, along with a variety of other obstacles that you may actually create yourself. Beware of overconfidence or being your own worst enemy at this time. On the 21st you're likely to see an encore of whatever hidden issues related to your possessions or finances got in your way on the 8th. When the Sun goes into conjunction with Pluto on the 22nd, you may find yourself indulging in a power trip of some sort and/or finding out more things you didn't know before, either through your own discernment or some other source. You may trip over your own ambitions again on the 23rd and come Christmas Eve, another surprise nuisance such as an unexpected breakdown, is likely, along with a few thoughts or ideas that take you by surprise and present an interesting opportunity.

On the 26th some good data should come your way regarding that 9th House matter noted earlier, so exploit it in any way that you can to try and complete whatever it is before the 31st. Just make sure that you sift through the data carefully to assure its accuracy. On the 27th the New Moon is in Capricorn and if this happens to be your birthday, it should prove to be a landmark year as it will be in effect for the entire year as it will be part of your Solar Return. A financial dilemma may present itself and if you're not careful something of value may slip through your fingers. Right around that same time, however, you may acquire something you've been dreaming of for a long time. On the 28th you'll be looking at things with a skeptical eye as only Cappies can do and with Mars in conjunction with Pluto you may very well get into a major power trip of sorts at this time, particularly if you're a December Cappy. On New Years Eve a lot of grandiose ideas will come your way, so be sure to write them down for future reference. Then brace yourself for the next five months while your Sign Ruler goes retrograde, meaning not much progress will be made during that time in any of those 9th House matters.

My overall impression of this month is that it's going to hectic and most likely annoying in a variety of ways. As noted earlier, I definitely am no happier about this than you are and I truly hope that I'm reading this stuff incorrectly. Of course that's a bit of a Catch-22 since it will mean I don't know what I'm talking about, but in this case it may be worth it. All we can do is cross our fingers and trust the Universe that when all is said and done everything will be to our benefit.
