This month there's a planetary parade lined up in your 5th House of romance, creativity, ego, and children and 6th of work, health and pets. Leo rules the Zodiacal 5th House so this is familiar territory that means a lot to you in your pursuit of happiness. The month starts out on the 1st with a nice cozy conjunction between Venus and Jupiter, both of which are in Capricorn at that time. If you read the Daily Astrocasts or do any sky watching, you probably saw these two converging in the western sky around sunset the last few days of November, which was indeed a stunning sight. These two are both generally benefic planets that bring good fortune and in your 6th House of work, health and pets, this should bring something favorable your way in that part of your life. There may be a catch, however, or it may involve a situation where you're damned if you do and damned if you don't, if you know what I mean.

Between December 5 - 6 Mercury will form a T-Square with Uranus and Saturn. This aspect pattern, which involves two squares and an opposition, usually indicates a challenge of some sort. In this case it will involve your finances in some surprising way, either through your work, speculation, one of your children, or possibly even your ego. In the middle of all this the Sun, your Sign Ruler, will form a conjunction with Mars, throwing a lot of energy this way. This is an excellent time to start a new creative project. Note that on the 7th an opportunity may come your way regarding a relationship, but make sure you don't make any decisions that aren't based on cold, hard facts or you may be duped with false information. Hidden information is trying to break the surface on the 8th that could have a bearing on the situation, so pay attention, especially to those with whom you work. As Pluto moves into your 6th House of work and health covert issues, power trips, and various other shadowy issues will be evolving, so be on the lookout. News regarding your job that causes a nuisance of some sort is also brewing about this same time and on the 9th members of the opposite sex will be irritating you in some way as well.

When the Sun squares Uranus on the 10th something unexpected involving your children or one of your creations or projects will come along. With Uranus in your 8th House of sex, death, transformations, and other people's resources, this portends to have important implications that will have a lasting effect on you. On the 11th a relationship, probably with one of the females in your life, will come into the mix in an annoying way as well.

The Full Moon on the 12th brings along a Mutable Grand Cross that will further influence whatever is going on with your creative side, children or speculative endeavors and your finances. This aspect pattern includes four squares and two oppositions, as a minimum, and by its very nature contains a lot of conflict. However, the aspects from Leo and possibly your Natal Sun are likely to be of a positive nature, implying you could turn this to your advantage in some way if you play your cards right. Mercury will be in conjunction with Pluto on that day as well, bring another burst of covert information or power struggle related to your work. Be particularly diligent in guarding and monitoring your health at this time as well. If you encounter an vague symptoms or suspicious health problems, don't ignore them as they're trying to tell you something.

On the 13th the Sun will sextile Neptune, throwing more opportunity toward developing a new relationship. Again, keep your eyes open, however, as Neptune can be deceptive in the best or circumstances. If your birthday is between August 12 - 15 Neptune is currently opposite your Natal Sun, so you need to be especially careful during this transit that you see things for what they are and not what you'd like them to be.

On the 15th when Mars squares Saturn, a financial setback is possible, either related to your children, lovelife, or speculation, though your ego could come into play as well. Don't take any unnecessary chances at this time or spend your money somewhere you don't need to so as to avoid a possible financial crisis. Hope for the best but prepare for the worst. Another opportunity may come your way at this time through a close friend or relative, but remember what I said about keeping your eyes open and trusting only the facts. The information is there if you look or put forth the slightest information to flush it out. Your ego or over-confidence could get in the way, especially at work, around the 17th, so look before you leap or think before you speak or it could bite you later. Hidden information related to someone close to you or a power play could cause an annoyance on the 21st. On the 22nd even more in-depth information will be there if you but look, which you should, to make sure you know everything you need to know, particularly as it pertains to your work or job. If health problems have been in evidence, this is also a favorable time to determine a diagnosis.

If you're trying to promote a creative project at work, expect some opposition on the 23rd, particularly if you're over-confident or egotistical in some way. No matter how much you think you know what you're talking about, tone it down or it will work against you at that time. Christmas Eve another work or health related surprise of a disruptive nature may come your way, but keep your eyes open for a hidden opportunity. All is quiet on the planetary front on Christmas Day, then on the 26th some good news may come your way from someone close to you regarding your possessions and finances. Be careful of deception, or wearing rose-colored glasses, however, because once again, Neptune is in the mix. The New Moon on the 27th is also in your 6th House of work and health, indicating something new is on the horizon in this area. A relationship is likely to create a Catch-22 of a financial nature around this same time as well and once again, the chances for deception of delusion is high as Venus conjoins Neptune that same day. If you've been duped, it should come out on the 28th with a confrontation relative to a clash of wills or a power trip likely. The month concludes with a conjunction between Mercury and Jupiter on New Years Eve, which should bring a substantial burst of information or conversation, again related to your work or health.

This promises to be a very busy month with a lot involving your relationships, work, and creative efforts. The 5th House comprises several seemingly unrelated things such as romance, creativity, children, entertainment, ego and speculation so there are innumerable ways these energies could come out. Ego is probably the most operative word as all these other things often represent how it's expressed. Make sure you pay attention to the facts and don't fall for anything that isn't in black in white, and always look for an opportunity, no matter what the situation.
