The bulk of activity this month for Cappies will be in your 6th House of work, health and pets, including a New Moon in Gemini on June 3rd. A New Moon offers an opportunity to begin a new activity in the venue served by the relevant house. One of the great secrets of the Universe lies in your ability to harness this astrological energy to further you own goals and objectives. If you don't direct it, the Universe will do it for you. The energy will manifest in your life one way or the other so your best bet is to exercise your free will and put it to good use. Thus, if you have work or health issues to resolve or possibly even something regarding your pets or small animals, use this New Moon to start a new, positive phase. Tell the Universe what you want so it knows what to deliver. Just like when you were a child and you had to tell Santa Claus (a.k.a. your parents) what you wanted for Christmas, it's now necessary to spell out what you want to accomplish. Putting it in writing is best. Try it and see what happens.

For most of June, i.e. until the 25th, your Sign Ruler, Saturn, will trine Pluto. While these planets have a somewhat dark reputation as planets go, in an harmonious trine good things are likely to result. As a Cappy you're already undoubtedly familiar with Saturn's energy that promotes discipline, responsibility, and boundaries. This energy is being released in your 9th House of legal matters, long distance travel, academia, and beliefs (including politics and religion). Pluto, as you probably know, entered Capricorn in January amidst much ado, since a planetary ingress of an outer planet into a new astrological sign is a significant event. You have probably already felt that Plutonian power emanating through your 1st House of personality. Thus, this Saturn-Pluto trine implies you'll have some cosmological help in asserting a powerful sense of discipline, particularly as it applies to your 9th House. Positive applications could include such things as furthering your education, conducting a deep analysis on your core beliefs, or pursuing a legal issue of some description.

However, there's a catch.

On June 15, Pluto, who's currently retrograde (RX) will make a return trip to Sagittarius, which comprises your 12th House of inspiration, dreams, spirituality and hidden enemies, and that will last until November 28. This is not a bad thing. If there is any unfinished business in this part of your life, this gives you one final chance to deal with it over the next six months. Perhaps you need to marry some of your beliefs with your spiritual sense or utilize the inspiration inherent in your studies in some manner. If Pluto in your 1st House has been a bit heavy, this will also give you a breather and allow you to prepare for the long haul ahead. At any rate, direct this energy in a productive way because after Pluto goes back into Capricorn around Thanksgiving, he's not going to be in Sagittarius again in your lifetime. So this aspect's energy will influence two different Houses. You have about half the month to use it at a personal level, then switch it to a more spiritual level. On a slightly dark side, if there is anyone who is trying to undermine you without your knowledge, when Pluto goes back into your 12th House you'll have increased power to discern such things and to deal with it accordingly. The Full Moon on June 18th is likewise in Sagittarius, which provides culmination vibes for something in this area, perhaps the beginning of the end for whatever you're trying to resolve. This can assist with your determination and discipline in taking care of business, whatever it might be.

During June the Sun, Venus and Mercury will be traveling together in a tighter configuration than usual. The Sun will provide some additional energy to his companions, but can also overpower them a bit. Venus primarily influences are relationships and finances while Mercury rules communications and work with our hands, among other things. With them spending the better part of the month in your 6th House of work, health/fitness and pets, as noted earlier, this gives you quite a boost in those areas.

However, there's yet another catch.

Mercury is retrograde until June 19. If you're familiar with Mercury RX then you're aware that communication devices such as cell phones, computers, cable TV and so forth as well as mechanical items such as cars and household appliances, especially those with moving parts, are especially prone to problems during this period. Expect to encounter problems and plan accordingly. This is a lousy time to move forward in this area or move forward on a new project or idea, but it's a favorable time to re-work, re-write, re-plan or re-think something that's already in progress. With Venus in the mix from June 8 - 11 it makes for a good time to look at your relationships and/or finances. The economy sucks right now, as you've probably noticed, so if you haven't looked at your long-term budget and financial plans lately, this would also be a good use of this aspect.

Between June 2 - 11, Venus will sextile Mars in Leo, your 8th House of sex, death & regeneration, transformation, and other people's resources. Remember that the Sun is in there, too. This will be throwing a lot of drive in this area, making it a good time to find investors or internalize important lessons or experiences that will have a deep and lasting effect upon you. Sextiles are a friendly aspect that usually brings an opportunity, so once again you should direct this toward something in this area of your choosing.

From June 10 - 15 Venus will square Uranus. A square is an energy clash that is known for introducing a conflict or crisis of some sort. Uranus is the planet of disruptions, surprises and unexpected events and is camped out RX in Pisces, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys. This implies a surprise of some sort at work or in your neighborhood, a (hopefully) minor health crisis, or something else you are planning for. Since Venus is a benefic planet, her positive energy should temper it somewhat, though it could also indicate a female at work creating a problem of some sort. There's no telling, especially with Uranus in the mix, but rest assured that something will come along during that time that you're not expecting. Even if you think you know what it might be beforehand, more than likely it won't play out the way you think it will. If there's one thing that Uranus does astoundingly well it's blindside us with something out of the blue.

For the last two weeks of the month, i.e. from June 14 - 28, Mars will oppose Neptune, who's hanging out in Aquarius, your 2nd House of possessions, finances and pleasures. These two planets aren't particularly compatible. Remember that Mars is over there in your 8th House where he's stirring things up that will have a transformation effect on you. Neptune dissolves boundaries, creates delusions and deceptions, and is usually unrealistic. As a Cappy, you have an inherent sense of stability that will help you keep in touch with reality.

However, with these two working across the axis of your 2nd and 8th House, which both involve money in some way, you'd do well to put a caution flag out for this area. Watch your finances like a hawk and don't borrow money or use those credit cards without a solid understanding of what the bottom line will be. You'll be more susceptible than usual to being deceived by either yourself or others, so give everything a reality check before acting. Remember, also, that Mercury is RX and could cause something major to breakdown that has a big financial hit. Anything purchased during Mercury RX tends to have a veritable curse upon it for as long as you own it, so avoid buying anything new during this time, especially something major like an automobile. Rent one as necessary or do without until the 19th. Ask lots of questions and don't trust anyone you don't know; remember that by this time Pluto will be back in your house of hidden enemies!

And speaking of Pluto, from June 15 until around the 24th, give or take a day or two, Venus and the Sun will oppose him about this same time, as he slips back into Sagittarius. This should further assist your efforts to identify any unfinished 12th House business that requires attention, particularly if it has to do with your work as it applies to your spiritual health. Again, put it to good use. Use it or it will use you.

This should be an active month, physically and mentally. Lots of issues are up for review but the Cosmos is lending you several helping hands toward figuring things out. Remember to use your free will to direct the energy and set those Cappy goals high. It's better to aim for the stars and drag your feet in the treetops than aim for the treetops and drag your feet in the mud.
