Your drive and energy is likely to get a bit of a boost this month as Mars comes back into your sign. He was there during the October - December timeframe, but retrograde motion took him back into Gemini for a while until he returns to Cancer on March 5. This will help you accomplish anything you have in mind to advance yourself personally. Mars is interacting with several other planets this month, however, which is also going to have a personalized effect. During the better part of the month he's going to be opposing Pluto, who's in your 7th House of relationships. Pluto just entered your polar sign, Capricorn, the end of January, which is quite an event since he moves rather slowly and doesn't change signs very often. This is going to have an effect on how you relate to those closest to you in significant ways. If you have allowed others to take advantage of you in any manner in the past, that is likely to end. You'll be more aware of power struggles in relationships, whether they're attributable to you or the other party. While he's faced off with Mars, which could invigorate how you assert yourself, it's likely that you'll notice a significant difference in how you get along with those closest too you.

The first week or so of the month you may experience a few annoyances or nuisances that get you to thinking about how you interact with others. Then, over the next few months, you may find yourself changing your political views or philosophy of life in some manner, either because of interactions with those around you or perhaps as a result of putting your thoughts together in a different way than you did before. Your thoughts on life and death could also undergo a transformation of some sort this month as both Mercury and Venus slide past Neptune in your 8th House of sex, transformation, and other people's resources. Mercury influences our thoughts, Venus our lovelife and finances, and Neptune can either inspire or create illusions and delusions. He also tends to dissolve what he touches, so any opinions you held about this part of your life are likely to be quietly transformed into something different than they were before.

As Mercury, Venus and the Sun parade toward your 9th House of long distance travel, legal matters, political and religious views, and higher education, you can expect some emphasis in this area of your life as well. The New Moon on March 7th could initiate this trend, which will continue for most of the month. As if a New Moon isn't enough of a boost, the Sun will pass Uranus' neighborhood between March 4 - 14th, which is likely to bring about a disruption, surprise event, or major change of some sort as well. Those ruminations in effect relative to your relationships are also likely to have an influence on how you see the world. Positive changes in this area may also serve to help you direct all that Mars energy noted earlier in a new direction. Saturn, who is all about discipline, responsibility and ambition, is lurking in your 3rd House of mental activity, neighborhood and short journeys. With him opposing Venus in your 9th, this could very well further influence those philosophical changes underway, or perhaps encourage you to think about going back to school or any other 9th House issues such as legal matters or long distance travel. There is going to be a significant amount of mental action in this area that will be influenced by the people in your life as well as your life experiences. Thoughts and feelings of affection are likely to be very active this month in a variety of ways, which will more than likely make you even moodier than usual, not necessarily in a bad way, but expect to be all over the emotional map.

Toward the second half of the month there are likely to be some conflicts between your personal wants, relationships and your career or reputation. These are likely to be rather significant and have no easy answers. It will call attention to areas that have possibly not been explored before, but have been lurking in the background awaiting resolution. New facts and ideas are likely to surface that will help you figure out how these important venues fit into your life. An adjustment of some sort in your responsibilities, perhaps as they relate to your career, are also possible. The Full Moon on the 21st may mark the culmination of something relative to your home environment, that further relates to these same issues. This lunation will be particularly meaningful to you for several reasons. For one thing, since the Moon is your Sign Ruler, it has more punch for you than most others. Furthermore, it will create a Grand Cross with that Mars - Pluto opposition. With the Sun, Moon, Mars and Pluto all occupying Cardinal Signs, a lot of energy is going to be pouring into those various conflicts, which will probably show up in key areas of your life. Expect a lot of personal drive to attain your wants and needs coupled with ramped up emotions at home, some power issues in your close relationships, and last but not least, more than likely some significant activity relative to your career, as well.

There's a lot of activity this month that you're unlikely to miss. This is likely to center around your relationships, advancing your education or other 9th House issue as noted above, your personal ambitions and how these very important areas of your life all fit together. As someone who truly values the family first and foremost, you're likely to have a lot to think about and consider this month. You may undergo some major changes in how you see the world and your place in it before the month is out.
