This month your Sign Ruler, Mars, continues the backstroke in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, your 5th House of ego, romance, children, entertainment and speculation. His usual message is to take care of some unresolved issue in that area, more than likely because you didn't take the appropriate action at the time. Saturn is also retrograde in your polar sign, Libra, and nudging you to take care of business with something in your 7th House of relationships. Saturn is likely to be a bit more subtle about it (big surprise) and you may not have any clue just yet what needs attention, but it's rumbling around in your unconscious so if anything feels a bit uncomfortable, that could well be it. Come May you'll discover what it is, if not before, and have the chance to rectify the problem or issue over the next few months.

That Saturn - Pluto square is still active, as noted last month, with them both currently retrograde. Both are also involved quite significantly in the New Moon. The New Moon on February 13 is in Aquarius, your 11th House of groups, organizations, friends, goals, hopes and wishes. As always the New Moon indicates something new coming into your life. This lunation has some interesting aspects that suggest a few adjustments are in order, perhaps to make that happen. In particular, there are two Yods, also known as a Finger of God, which is a bit unusual. One comprises Pluto, Venus, and Mars at the eye. The House placement implies that whatever that unresolved issue is, it's having an effect on your career, status, or reputation and may also be confining your deeper more spiritual self in some way. There are a lot of romantic relationship implications in this one, so if you feel as if you're not progressing in this area as you would like, it's probably because of something you need to take care of.

The other Yod is slightly redundant in that it involves Saturn, Mars, and Venus at the eye, but has much the same message since Saturn is in Libra, your 7th House of relationships and also retrograde, as noted above. If you don't have a clue what these unresolved issues that are holding you back might be, keep an eye out, since it's unlikely that anyone on this planet doesn't have something hanging out there that ought to be cleared up. If you're really that oblivious, put some of that Aries courage to work and ask those close to you if you've ever done anything that you'd do well to resolve. Accumulated baggage can get heavy and slow your progress, so take advantage of these aspects to take care of business.

This lunation's placement in Aquarius will have the strongest affect on Aries born between April 14 - 19 as it will sextile your Natal Sun. A sextile is a friendly aspect that usually brings an opportunity. Note it's also conjunct Neptune and the asteroid, Chiron, implying an unrealistic expectation may be involved or perhaps some sort of illusion. Aries are typically direct to a fault, so this undoubtedly calls for probing around a bit for what the problem may be. You may entirely oblivious to it but it may be eating at someone you care about and jeopardizing your relationship, so give it some thought.

The Full Moon on the 28th is in Virgo, your 6th House of work, service, health and pets. As always, a Full Moon implies an ending or possibly a culmination and shifting to a new phase, such as in the completion of a major milestone. Jupiter is conjunct the Sun for this lunation, which will throw some more energy toward it over there in Pisces, your 12th House of enlightenment, inspiration, confinement, institutions and hidden enemies. The Moon is trining Pluto in your 10th House of career and reputation, so if someone has been trying to undermine you the chances are good you will figure out what's been going on and be able to take care of the situation. Retrograde Mars is quincunx Mercury in your 11th House of groups which indicates an adjustment or course change is needed to resolve something in that area, perhaps related to some data or information that isn't accurate or requires rectification.

Short Term/Daily Aspects

February 5 - 7: Take some time to think about your deepest essence and whether you're manifesting what you're really made of to someone close to you. Some adjustments in this area may be to your advantage. During these few days expect some surprising insights in this area if you pause to listen. Something from your past is getting in your way but the Universe is trying to help you identify what it is. Inspiration as it relates to love or possibly money is likely and may be delivered through a friend or associate, possibly entirely inadvertently.

February 10 - 11: New insights nudging you toward the solution to an old issue are possible if you listen up. Mercury goes into Aquarius on the 10th, facilitating communications with groups and friends or perhaps bringing clearly information or data related to your goals. Venus enters Pisces on the 11th, a place where the goddess of love is particularly comfortable. She will further enhance your spirituality and Jupiter's work in that area to expand your consciousness.

February 12: Watch for something hidden to come forward that will relate somehow to that unresolved issue with either a child or romantic partner. Discussing responsibilities as they pertain to relationships will go well.

February 13: New Moon today as described above.

February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! With all the relationship issues apparently going on it will be in your best interest to exploit this day in any way you can. Major inspiration or enlightenment is very likely to come about that changes your behavior in some way.

February 15 - 16: More deep insights that relate to your past are out there today and will provide an opportunity for understanding. Opportunities to address that relationship issue and move it to the next level are strong today as well.

February 18: The Sun enters Pisces, bringing emphasis to your spiritual side and other 12th House areas.

February 20 - 23: During this time period the Sun is really pushing hard on some adjustments and course changes based on those past issues you need to take care of. Look into those dark corners of your past that you thought you'd sufficiently covered up for clues.

February 27 - 28: Inspired ideas are likely today, but make sure they're not pipe dreams before throwing any money at them. They will serve an important purpose, however, and help toward expanding your consciousness and perceptions. Full Moon on the 28th as described above.
