Long-term Aspects and Lunations This month the New Moon, which typically brings something new into your life, occurs on February 13 in Aquarius, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and siblings, implying something new is on the way in that part of your life. The lunation's proximity to Neptune indicates that there could be a substantial amount of inspiration involved, though Neptune can also veil reality and be deceptive, so don't trust anything that comes along carte blanche. Use your natural quest for knowledge and understanding to determine whether or not it's to be trusted. There are some interesting aspect patterns associated with this New Moon that suggest a new direction of some sort is coming or at least called for. For example, there are two overlapping Yods, also known as a Finger of God, which typically means that adjustments or course changes, perhaps of a fated nature, will set you on a new or different path. The planets involved in the first one are Pluto, and a conjunction between your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, and Venus at the base with retrograde Mars at the point or as it's usually called, the eye. Pluto is in your 2nd House of finances, possessions, needs and pleasures where he'll be exposing anything that needs to be renovated in that part of your life, while the Jupiter/Venus pair is in Pisces, your 4th House of home environment. These planets are forming a sextile at the base, which usually denotes the chance or opportunity for something beneficial, e.g. a deep and probing change to your financial picture that will have a positive effect on your home environment. As you probably know, Jupiter and Venus are both benefic planets and their placement in your home environment should bring good things your way. If there is some new endeavor you'd like to pursue that pertains to your homelife, now would be an excellent time to initiate it, if you haven't already. Mars is in fellow Fire Sign, Leo, your 9th House of higher learning, legal matters, beliefs and expectations, philosophy of life, cultural interactions, long distance travel and all those other things that Sagittarius dearly loves since the 9th House is your Zodiacal homebase. Mars retrograde will call your attention to something that needs to be resolved, often something that wasn't acted upon properly to begin with or perhaps was procrastinated or ignored, giving you a second chance to take care of business. Thus, as far as this Yod is concerned, think of something that involves your finances or perhaps your personal needs, your homelife, and something that needs to be done with respect to your 9th House, such as going back to school, a legal matter, an extended trip or one abroad, etc. Especially look at those things in that part of your life that are unfinished as the Universe is probably nudging you to do what you should have done before or offering a second chance. This is further reinforced by the second Yod which comprises most of the same planets except for swapping out Pluto for Saturn and thus shifting the eye to the Venus/Jupiter pair. Saturn is in Libra, your 11th House of goals, friends, organizations, and group activities, and also retrograde, which is a time when restructuring is called for. This aspect overall indicates that revisiting that unfinished business and doing some restructuring, perhaps of your goals or social life, will bring substantial benefits to your home environment. It's interesting to note that we have three generally considered malefic planets, i.e. Pluto, Mars and Saturn, who are tied in with the two benefics and indicating that substantial good can result from a few needed changes. Other planets and aspects reinforce this general idea, including Mercury who is delivering information with respect to that issue that's demanding completion and suggesting ways to restructure your goals or something related to your group activities. This information could come from strictly within yourself or perhaps through a conversation or communication with a neighbor or sibling. That square between Saturn and Pluto is an ongoing aspect that has been in effect since October, will persist until mid-March, then recur from late July to mid-September. The implication behind this is some major restructuring of your financial goals or perhaps even fulfilling your needs through group associations, whichever is more appropriate for your personal situation. Changes and adjustments are afoot this year and the Universe is trying to guide you in the process. The Full Moon on February 28 is not quite as loaded with implications as far as its attendant aspects are concerned, though the Sun is conjunct your Sign Ruler, Jupiter, giving it a little more meaning for you. The Moon is in Virgo, your 10th House of career, reputation, public image and status, which indicates closure or a phase shift in this part of your life while the Sun/Jupiter pair is in Pisces, your 4th House of home environment, implying something in that area is going to expand or be emphasized in some way or another. More ideas regarding the changes or adjustments that need to be made are available regarding that unfinished business. There is also some indication that something new will come into your life with respect to your finances or personal needs that will be beneficial to your home environment or vice versa, i.e. perhaps a money-making venture centered in your home. Opportunities to restructure your group interactions as a result of or to facilitate pursuing something you want are also coming your way. This truly looks like a significant month that includes numerous turning points. If you've been thinking along those lines for a while, the Universe is undoubtedly trying to help you along, so keep your eyes and ears open for indicators and assistance. Daily and Short-term Aspects February 5 - 7: Adjustments to your group interactions or goals and your home environment are indicated so take a look around these parts of your life for something that's calling for a change of direction. Unexpected changes related to your finances and homelife are also indicated. These changes are likely to be deep and fundamental, not something superficial or temporary. Flashes of inspiration may come, but be aware that they may not represent reality so don't make any important decisions based on something intangible. February 10 - 11: If you don't already know what that unfinished business is, today is a good one to figure it out. Mercury enters Aquarius on the 10th, which will give an additional boost to your thought processes and activity level, perhaps stirring up lots of errands to be taken care of. Venus goes into Pisces on the 11th, bringing her blessings to your home environment. February 12: If you've figured out what the unfinished business is, now you need to figure out how to deal with it financially and what changes need to be made in that area to make it happen. You may also need to take a hard look at your creature comforts and any you may need to give up for a while to achieve your new direction. Now is an excellent time to do some networking, developing new contacts and connections to help. February 13: New Moon today as described above. February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! Venus, the Goddess of Love, is appropriately involved today and centered in your home environment, so give plenty of attention to your family members. Also consider how all these new developments will affect them and assure that they're comfortable with the new direction. Tuning into their feelings should be enhanced and allow you to assure them accordingly. February 15 - 16: Reworking your home finances favored today. Continue to develop and perhaps exploit those new connections to achieve your goals, also. Make sure you don't get over-confident without sufficient evidence to substantiate it, but there is a definitely possibility for financial benefits or something similarly good happening on the homefront during this time. February 18: The Sun enters Pisces, bringing light and emphasis to your homelife. February 20 - 23: Further light and knowledge with regard to your current goals and aspirations and the adjustments required to get there are available and will relate significantly to your homelife. Refer to past experience for assistance. Deep insights into your financial picture and means for significant changes in this area are out there as well. February 27 - 28: More inspirational ideas are likely, though conversely you may find yourself daydreaming and trying to escape. However these days strike you, be sure to give any ideas a reality check in a few days as they're likely to be overly inflated or not based on reality.
