This month's Full Moon is on December 6th in fellow Air Sign, Gemini, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, higher learning, other cultures, foreign travel, and philosophy of life, suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  If your birthday is right around October 8 this could bring new information or ideas your way which have a bearing on your view of life.  With the Sun, Mercury and your sign ruler, Venus, all occupying Sagittarius your thought processes should be active and bring a variety of good ideas your way.  Interactions with friends are emphasized as well and could also bring opportunities, especially if your birthday is right around October 16.  Uranus in Aries, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships, could be stirring things up in that part of your life, especially if your birthday is right around October 6.  Transformation change is probably already in progress and could intensify at this time when the square between Uranus and Pluto is partile (same degree).  Thoughts on how to handle this situation can help mitigate any challenges and could come from siblings or neighbors.  A change of direction in your expectations could bring about an adjustment which could relate to letting go of something from the past.

Saturn, your exalted sign ruler, has been transiting Scorpio, your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures for quite a while but will leave that sign for your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings and neighbors on December 24.  During this transit you may have experienced the need for an increase in discipline in this part of your life, particularly if you have not always maintained an adequate level of control in this part of your life.  As he enters your 3rd house this pressure should dissipate from that area and bring greater discipline to your thoughts and other 3rd house areas.  This is an excellent time to get organized and take responsibility for this part of your life.

On December 8 Jupiter stations retrograde in Leo, your 11th house of friends, organizations, goals, hopes and wishes.  Jupiter RX typically brings a time to ruminate and ponder your attitude toward something related to the house he's in.  If your birthday is right around October 16 this station is sextile your natal Sun which suggests opportunity can come your way through such considerations.  Jupiter in this house suggests an expansion in this part of your life during the past year and now is the time to look back at your progress and what benefits may have hailed from that placement.  Communications are still favored with those close to you which could impact your status, particularly on the emotional level. 

December 21 is a busy day astrologically starting with Uranus stationing direct.  He's in partile square with Pluto as noted earlier which will give this aspect an extra kick.  One function of Pluto in Capricorn is to expose corruption at the corporate and governmental level, which we have certainly seen plenty of with more to come in this target-rich environment.  The square with Uranus in Aries brings rebellion and pressure to deal with this corruption, which has also been pervasive in the news lately.  As Uranus stations direct, this should bring about some evidence of change as opposed to random sparks of protest.  Taking action is favored on the part of groups, suggesting when people make their voices and opinions heard that it will eventually make a difference.

Eighteen minutes and twenty-two seconds after Uranus stations, the Sun enters Capricorn, marking the winter solstice in the Northern Hemisphere and summer solstice in the Southern Hemisphere.  Whenever the Sun enters a Cardinal sign (Aries, Cancer, Libra, Capricorn) it begins a new season, both literally and figuratively since action typically begins with Cardinal signs.  The chart for this event is important as a trend setter for the coming quarter and thus used for such things as weather prediction as found in The Old Farmer's Almanac as well as mundane and geo-political astrology.  This also suggests that the Uranus - Pluto square will have influence for the entire quarter even though it is only partile until the last week of December.  Of course these aspects don't have to be partile to have effect but that is when they're at their strongest and most likely to trigger noticeable events.

Two hours, thirty-two minutes and fifty seconds after the Capricorn Ingress, the Moon joins the Sun for this month's New Moon.  This places the Sun, Moon, Mercury, Pluto and Venus all in Capricorn, bringing a lot of energy to your 4th house of home environment, memories, cultural roots, endings and new beginnings.  This is an excellent time to take a close look at this part of your life and use the advantage of having a New Year around the corner in which to turn over a new leaf.  Take a close look at things you want to address and change and include them in your New Year's Resolutions which Saturn in your 3rd house a few days hence can help you commit to keeping and pursuing.  Mars is in Aquarius, another Air Sign and your 5th house of creativity, ego definition, children, romance, entertainment and speculation bringing energy to that part of your life, especially if your birthday is right around October 7.  Put it to good use.
