Full Moon

The Full Moon this month is on 3 February in your polar sign, Leo, which is your 7th house of close relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, competitors and open enemies as well as business professionals with whom you interact one-on-one.  Since a Full Moon typically indicates an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase see if this applies to someone in this part of your life.  If your birthday is this day, give or take a day, this lunation will have a stronger impact and also likely to be part of your solar return meaning its effects will be with you to some degree for the entire year.  Mercury retrograde will be with you as well, in fact for anyone with a birthday this month before 11 February when he stations direct, but that is probably not as bad as you may think.  I found the year I had Mercury RX in my solar return it was a great year for finishing up old projects which had been swept aside, rethinking a few things, some rearranging around the house and so forth.  If you go with the energy flow these types of influences are easier to bear. 

Saturn in your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, hopes, goals and wishes suggests structure and responsibility themes with an opportunity this month to rethink something in that area.  This could relate to a variety of things but one thing to focus on is whether you are receiving adequate benefit for what you're putting in whether it's a friendship or group.  Breaking free of anything you need to ditch whether it's a nuisance pseudo-friend or bad habit is favored with this lunation so use it to advantage.  A change of direction based on your heart versus your head is possible as a result, especially if this also involves being rid of some old baggage from the past.

The New Moon this month is in your sign again, which is somewhat unusual.  It's only a sneeze away from Pisces, occurring astrologically at 29:59.9 Aquarius but for all intents and purposes, this is still Aquarius.  There is a lot of energy in the last degree of a sign, especially one that is a Fixed sign which includes Aquarius as well as Taurus, Leo and Scorpio.  Often its implications are for a permanent ending and with this being a New Moon it also suggests that walking away from something can represent a new beginning.  This can tie in nicely with the Full Moon, depending what you did with that energy.  Mars is also at 29 degrees but in Pisces where he is chomping at the bit, anxious to get into his home sign where he's in dignity.  Being a bit wishy-washy about taking action is not his style and if you've felt that influence as a touch of laziness or lack of ambition it will change shortly after the New Moon.

By this time Mercury has stationed direct and for this lunation is sextile Saturn, which hints at putting a new plan together based on new information or rethinking you've done during the retrograde period.  Just make sure you have your facts straight and are being realistic.  There's also a closed loop aspect out there between Pluto, Uranus and Jupiter which suggests breaking away from old, self-defeating thoughts or attitudes can bring a favorable new attitude to your relationships which can ultimately have a life-changing effect.  Venus has been transiting your 2nd house of income, possessions, finances, needs, comforts and pleasures for a while which should have brought some benefit your way since this is the sign of her exaltation.  She goes into Aries on February 21, the same day as Mars as well as the Moon which could bring some interesting thoughts and effects.
