Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon on 5 March is in Virgo, your polar sign and 7th house of close relationships suggesting an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  This lunation is also dumping a lot of energy into that adjustment loop which has been out there for a while between Jupiter (your traditional sign ruler), Pluto and Uranus.  The bottom line is that if your birthday is right around March 5 - 8, your Natal Sun is in a degree close to all this action so you are most likely to see some effects up close and personal.  Jupiter is in your 6th house of work, health, service and pets where he is currently retrograde, bringing a philosophical, introspective energy to this venue.  Your work, life-style and health are probably important right now.

Pluto is in Capricorn, your 11th house of goals, hopes, wishes, friends, groups, organizations and networking where he is helping you assume control of this part of your life and rid yourself of anything lurking there that needs to go to make room for something new and fresh.  Uranus is in nextdoor neighboring sign, Aries, your 2nd house of finances, income, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures which also includes your body as your most important possession.  Uranus brings disruptions, disturbances, upsets and the unexpected so there's no telling what you've been dealing with in this part of your life.  Tie that in with your job or health plus friends and goals and this could be going either way for you, either quite nicely or challenging.  All of this is receiving an additional boost from the lunation, especially if the Sun is conjunct your natal Sun.

Also embedded in this lunation is an aspect pattern known as a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which has a fated flavor.  This comprises Pluto and Jupiter, members of that adjustment loop, as well as the Sun in your sign.  This suggests the possibility of a personal revelation that will transform your goals and ultimately focus on your work or health in some way.  If you've been trying to figure out what you want to be when you grow up this could be helpful.  There's a whole lot of cosmic energy in play for this lunation so pay attention to your instincts as well as what's going on around you to see how it plays out.

On 14 March Saturn stations retrograde in fellow Mutable Sign, Sagittarius, your 10th house of status, career, public image and reputation.  If your birthday is right around February 23 this will square your natal Sun and thus have a more noticeable effect.  Saturn RX tends to slow things down, throw obstacles in your path and work at the subconscious level for you to rebuild or restructure something in this part of your life.  You may not be aware of his message until August 1 when he goes direct but for now pay attention to your gut feelings for clues.  Meanwhile, that adjustment loop is still active and is most likely tied into this some way or another.

The New Moon on 20 March is in your sign, conjunct your Natal Sun if your birthday is that day, and thus part of your solar return meaning it will last all year.  Since it is also a total solar eclipse it has additional strength and longevity.  It will only be visible across a narrow path in the North Atlantic and Polar Regions so not many will get to see it; to see a map go here.  The adjustment loop is starting to fade but it will come back in the May - June timeframe after Jupiter stations direct and catches back up with Pluto and Uranus.  Solar eclipses tend to bring events so watch for news or thoughts that relate to your job or health.  Venus, your sign's exalted ruler, has gone into Taurus where she's in dignity and thus bringing her blessing to your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel which could bring a positive change to your status.  Over all, especially since this time of year is birthday time for most of you, listen carefully to your strong intuitive flashes for direction which is likely to be important for the coming year.
