Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon this month is on 5 March in fellow Earth Sign, Virgo, your 5th house of creativity, children, romance, ego definition, entertainment and speculation and likely to bring an ending, culmination or shift to a new phase of something in this part of your life.  There's a lot of astrological activity at this time which is likely to be noticeable, especially if your birthday is right around May 4 - 7 since numerous planets, including the lunation, are in positions which will aspect your natal Sun.  There is already an aspect pattern I refer to as an adjustment loop in effect which has been there a while and will remain for a while longer.  It involves Uranus, Jupiter and Pluto and suggests the breaking away from something could bring a variety of substantial changes your way that could constitute an ending or new beginning which is further emphasized by the general influence of a Full Moon which also is forming an adjustment loop.  For Taureans this could be a belief or attitude that lies in your subconscious mind or perhaps a dream, vision or even a self-defeating behavior.  Your sign ruler, Venus, is conjunct Uranus, which could help facilitate this process of moving forward in a new direction.

This lunation also includes a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which typically has a fated nature, throwing even more energy at this process.  Its foundation lies in recognizing something in your 9th house that needs to be transformed; this house including your beliefs, expectations, higher learning, legal matters, other cultures, long-distance travel and your philosophy of life.  This will be helped along by the Sun in Pisces, your 11th house of friends, groups, organizations, networking, goals, hopes and wishes which will offer you the chance to recognize and overcome whatever this happens to be and perhaps lend a helping hand toward a new start.

Saturn stations retrograde on 14 March which usually tends to slow things down a bit.  Saturn is in your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, death and rebirth, shared resources, debt and things you suppress where he will be working at restructuring something.  There could be obstacles and boundaries which become more apparent and keep you from progressing as quickly as you'd like.  Fortunately, Taureans are not usually impulsive and like to take their time making any changes, anyway, so this could actually makes things a bit more comfortable.  You may be resisting information coming your way, anyway, which will give you more time to work it through.  Meanwhile, the adjustment loop noted earlier is still in effect.

The New Moon on 20 March is also a total solar eclipse which gives it more influence and staying power.  It occurs in your 11th house of friends and goals, suggesting something new coming.  You may start to accept that information or ideas coming your way and begin moving in a slightly different direction.  Your sign ruler, Venus, is now in your sign, which will help with this process of transformation which Saturn is promoting.  This eclipse, while total, won't be visible to many since its path lies over the North Atlantic and polar regions which you can see here.
