Lunations and Other Cosmic Events

The Full Moon this month on March 5 is in your sign, Virgo, and sitting on your natal Sun if your birthday is right around September 7.  There's a lot of action at 14 and 15 degrees which implies some interesting things could be coming your way which could bring about an unexpected change, particularly with Mars, Uranus and Venus all in Aries, your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, death and rebirth, shared resources and debt.  Jupiter in your 12th house of seclusion, confinement, visions, dreams, inspiration, spirituality, hidden enemies, institutions and self-undoing may be facilitating this at the subconscious level.  Pluto in your 5th could well be pushing you toward discovering who you really are, which can often motivate change.  Those close to you could shed some light on the situation if you aren't quite seeing it.  One place to look is work and whether it's really suiting you and your situation.

The adjustment loop connecting Jupiter, Uranus and Pluto is emphasized by this lunation as well as Venus, who is conjunct Uranus with both trining Jupiter.  This throws additional energy into your subconscious and perhaps forcing you to confront something about yourself that is not to your benefit but more likely in the self-defeating behaviors arena.  Somewhat hidden as well is a yod, a.k.a. "finger of God," which implies a fated change which could involve someone close too you.  Listen to what they have to say only if you know they have your best interests at heart.

Saturn stations retrograde on 14 March in fellow Mutable Sign, Sagittarius, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings.  Saturn RX is infamous for delays, obstacles and staking out boundaries which are difficult to cross.  If your birthday is right around August 28 this station occurs squaring your natal Sun which increases the likelihood you'll notice the effects.  This lasts until August, suggesting the coming months may not be as productive as you'd like with making progress likely to be impaired.  That adjustment loop noted earlier is still in effect though now it's Mars hanging out with Uranus which suggests taking action if you haven't yet.  Mars in your 8th house is a time to proceed with some caution, however, since being impulsive could bring something your way which you'd do well to avoid.

The New Moon on March 20 is at the last degree of your polar sign, Pisces, which is your 7th house of relationships including your significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, business professions with whom you interact one-to-one such as attorneys and open enemies.  If you have something going on in your 9th house such as going to school, a long-distance trip, involvement with other cultures, publication or litigation, Venus is there with the potential to help out and may even convince Saturn to allow some progress that gets things unstuck.  This New Moon is also a solar eclipse, making it more powerful and long-lasting than the usual lunation.  The eclipse path lies across the Arctic and North Atlantic so it's pretty unlikely it will be visible from your usual locale.  Follow this link to see the map which I suspect most people of the Virgo persuasion will want to see.
