The first astrological event of note this month is your sign ruler, Mercury, stationing direct on October 9.  This occurs in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th house of creativity, romance, children, ego definition, self-expression, entertainment and speculation.  This suggests that you've been ruminating on something in this part of your life or should have been.  If your birthday is right around May 22 this occurs trining your natal Sun which will give it a more pronounced effect.  Watch for an opportunity related to this matter to come your way from someone you known who may help your manifest it into reality, assuming it's an idea. 

Virgo is loaded with planets, including Venus, Mars, the Moon and Jupiter which brings a lot of energy to your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings.  All of them are opposing Neptune in your 10th house of career, reputation, public image and status, which is bound to show up in some way.  Neptune in your 10th can be great for your imagination and perhaps even pursuing your dreams except he can also be quite unrealistic, idealistic and even delusional.  You'll be feeling those effects the strongest if your birthday is right around May 29.  Those born on the 31st and June 3 will be feeling some effects as well as your natal Sun's are squared by one or more of the members of the entourage in Virgo. 

Virgo and Pisces are about as diverse as it gets with Virgo getting a major boost from this cosmic parade.  Practicality, perfectionism, excessive planning and impatience (especially if something goes wrong) are all possibilities that could conflict with your vision.  One the positive side, three members of that quartet are trining Pluto in Capricorn, your 8th house of transformations, intense experiences, shared resources, debt and things you suppress.  If you've been unrealistic perhaps this will be a good thing as you realize you've been chasing rainbows.  Subconscious issues could be holding you back as well.  All of this relates to what you've been experiencing during the retrograde period and should provide some answers and direction.

The New Moon on October 12 is in Libra, your 5th house as defined about.  This suggests something new coming your way  but much of the opposition present for Mercury's station is still present.  If you've been pursuing a particularly goal, examine it closely and consider if it's still what you want.  Breaking away from a group or organization that is hindering your creativity or something else related to the 5th house is also suggested.  If someone close to you is holding you back a new approach is likely to help resolve that as well.

The Full Moon on October 27 brings an energy shift which implies a change of direction with regard to your goals or group activities.  A transformation that could provide some help letting go of something from the past or that you no longer need, is possible, perhaps resulting from a nudge to your subconscious.  The need for balance between innovation and originality and information is another influence to look for.  Being off-the-wall may need to be toned down a bit based on cold, hard facts, which Gemini usually can handle quite nicely.
