New Moon/Solar Eclipse

This month's New Moon is also a solar eclipse, which gives it a lot more strength.  Eclipses have considerable staying power as well, meaning their influence may be felt before or even months after their occurrence.  Check the house placement for this lunation above and then watch that part of your life for something to come along, especially if your birthdate is within a day or so of the date indicated for the strongest influence.  The eclipse opposes Jupiter, who's retrograde in Virgo, sign of his traditional debility, which could bring a wealth of information your way, both of an intuitive and logical nature.  This could be a case of TMI, i.e. "too much information" and bring some level of confusion.  Go with your gut feeling, but don't be surprised if you find it all somewhat confusing. 

There are two overlapping aspect patterns further activated by this eclipse which have been hanging in there for quite some time since it involves the outer , slow-moving planets.  I generally refer to them as "course adjustment loops" which are best described as bringing a situation where what you've been doing is clearly not working, driving you to another course of action.  The good news is that the eclipse could be the vehicle to finally deliver the solution you've been looking for, which could introduce itself as an annoyance from the past that can be turned to your advantage with a bit of effort on your part.  An older person or authority figure may be helpful in bringing an innovative solution.  If you've been trying to extract data from someone or some other entity and having difficulty, you may be able to dig it up elsewhere.  If available, a friend in a high place may be helpful as well.  Be prepared to change course as a result, once you balance out all the pros and cons.

Full Moon

The Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, which gives it additional punch as well.  As a general rule, a solar eclipse brings events and situations while the lunar version is slightly more likely to pertain to emotional matters, perhaps even any repercussions brought about by said events.  The change of course element noted above has dissipated, which suggests you're either already heading in a different direction or perhaps now it's too late.  Reality may be clashing with fantasy or delusions that could be tremendously confusing until you sort things out, which probably won't be easy.  Once you figure things out, taking decisive action is favored which will probably be along a unique, unusual or even rebellious pathway that you will construct along the way.

Resolving old issues is favored as Chiron, "the wounded healer", joins the lunar South Node.  Venus in Pisces, sign of her exaltation, may bring a bit of extra luck your way as well, but be sure to show your gratitude and avoid being over-confident.

OTHER COSMIC EVENTS

Two days after the lunar eclipse, Saturn stations retrograde (RX), which tends to slow things down with delays and obstacles.  I'm sure that thrills you no end, especially since it will last quite a while.  While RX, Saturn tends to operate at the subconscious level with regard to something that needs to be rebuilt or restructured.  You may not be aware of what this is until Saturn stations direct in August, but should have the matter taken care of by November.  The RX station occurs in Sagittarius, which for Aquarians is your 11th house.  If your birthday is right around February 6, this will have additional impact, but not necessarily in a bad way.  Rather, it should help you reconstruct something in this area such as your goals, hopes, wishes, organizational ties or possibly even some friendships, though there will be some challenges along the way.  Money is likely to be involved or perhaps simply seeing that your needs are met, with the end result having a rather strong impact as you resolve some old issues. 

This is not to say that this isn't the time to take action on a few things.  This may involve a lot of conversations or possibly research.  Breaking away from something that's been holding you captive, possibly at the subconscious level, is going to be a challenge, but possible under these aspects.  New information may come to light as you move forward with a determined, positive attitude.  Just make sure that any action you take is based on accurate information and not delusional.  Inspiration is possible, but it won't be easily accessed so a more logical or philosophical approach as opposed to being to idealistic is your best bet.

However, there is one caveat, in that Mars stations RX on April 17.  Mars RX is a time when actions often are reversed or regretted later, so unless you can complete it before then, it deserves a lot of caution.  Thus, anything related to your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors or local travel that you feel inclined to pursue needs a close look and short turnaround to avoid Mars pushing you into something you'll later regret.  Listen to you gut and intuition and don't go against what it's telling you for best results.
