New Moon/Solar Eclipse

This month's New Moon is also a solar eclipse, which gives it a lot more strength.  Eclipses have considerable staying power as well, meaning their influence may be felt before or even months after their occurrence.  Check the house placement for this lunation above and then watch that part of your life for something to come along, especially if your birthdate is within a day or so of the date indicated for the strongest influence.  The eclipse opposes Jupiter, who's retrograde in Virgo, sign of his traditional debility, which could bring a wealth of information your way, both of an intuitive and logical nature.  This could be a case of TMI, i.e. "too much information" and bring some level of confusion.  Go with your gut feeling, but don't be surprised if you find it all somewhat confusing. 

There are two overlapping aspect patterns further activated by this eclipse which have been hanging in there for quite some time since it involves the outer , slow-moving planets.  I generally refer to them as "course adjustment loops" which are best described as bringing a situation where what you've been doing is clearly not working, driving you to another course of action.  The good news is that the eclipse could be the vehicle to finally deliver the solution you've been looking for, which could introduce itself as an annoyance from the past that can be turned to your advantage with a bit of effort on your part.  An older person or authority figure may be helpful in bringing an innovative solution.  If you've been trying to extract data from someone or some other entity and having difficulty, you may be able to dig it up elsewhere.  If available, a friend in a high place may be helpful as well.  Be prepared to change course as a result, once you balance out all the pros and cons.

Full Moon

The Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, which gives it additional punch as well.  As a general rule, a solar eclipse brings events and situations while the lunar version is slightly more likely to pertain to emotional matters, perhaps even any repercussions brought about by said events.  The change of course element noted above has dissipated, which suggests you're either already heading in a different direction or perhaps now it's too late.  Reality may be clashing with fantasy or delusions that could be tremendously confusing until you sort things out, which probably won't be easy.  Once you figure things out, taking decisive action is favored which will probably be along a unique, unusual or even rebellious pathway that you will construct along the way.

Resolving old issues is favored as Chiron, "the wounded healer", joins the lunar South Node.  Venus in Pisces, sign of her exaltation, may bring a bit of extra luck your way as well, but be sure to show your gratitude and avoid being over-confident.

OTHER COSMIC EVENTS

This month Saturn stations retrograde (RX) in fellow Fire Sign, Sagittarius, your 9th house of beliefs, expectations, philosophy of life, legal matters, higher learning, other cultures, long-distance travel and relocation.  This will tend to institute delays or obstacles which will last for the duration of the RX period, which of course will be particularly annoying to you since you may not be the most patient person in the world who prefers to take action without hindrance.  Much of this will operate on the subconscious level, however, so some of that may be your own doubts holding you back.  Saturn RX usually indicates something that needs to be restructured or rebuilt, but you may not have a clear view of what that is until August.  Once you figure out what it is, you should be able to take care of business by November.

There are a few complications for this retrograde period, based on Saturn's station chart which has him at the apex of a T-square with Venus in Pisces and Jupiter in Virgo, all at 16 degrees of their respective signs, making it partile and therefore quite strong.  Venus is in the sign of her exaltation, making her particularly strong, and she's in your 12th house which includes inspiration, enlightenment, seclusion, confinement, hidden enemies, your subconscious mind, self-defeating behaviors and spirituality.  Her influence will be excellent for fruitful meditation as well as some luck and general good fortune.  Jupiter, however, is in Virgo, sign of his traditional debility, where he's likely to generate too much information in your 6th house of work, service, health and pets.  Your job may be busier than usual and thus get in the way of escaping enough to find answers at a deep, personal level. 

The good news is that the Sun is in your sign at this point, but the possible bad news is that if your birthday is right around March 26 then this may last a year for you since it will be part of your solar return.  Nonetheless, taking action coupled with an innovative approach is favored as information comes to light.  Taking control of your career and status is advised at this time, which can help you overcome much of what threatens to keep you too busy to take care of personal business.  When all is said and done, your view of the world is likely to be quite different than it is now.
