New Moon/Solar Eclipse

This month's New Moon is also a solar eclipse, which gives it a lot more strength.  Eclipses have considerable staying power as well, meaning their influence may be felt before or even months after their occurrence.  Check the house placement for this lunation above and then watch that part of your life for something to come along, especially if your birthdate is within a day or so of the date indicated for the strongest influence.  The eclipse opposes Jupiter, who's retrograde in Virgo, sign of his traditional debility, which could bring a wealth of information your way, both of an intuitive and logical nature.  This could be a case of TMI, i.e. "too much information" and bring some level of confusion.  Go with your gut feeling, but don't be surprised if you find it all somewhat confusing. 

There are two overlapping aspect patterns further activated by this eclipse which have been hanging in there for quite some time since it involves the outer , slow-moving planets.  I generally refer to them as "course adjustment loops" which are best described as bringing a situation where what you've been doing is clearly not working, driving you to another course of action.  The good news is that the eclipse could be the vehicle to finally deliver the solution you've been looking for, which could introduce itself as an annoyance from the past that can be turned to your advantage with a bit of effort on your part.  An older person or authority figure may be helpful in bringing an innovative solution.  If you've been trying to extract data from someone or some other entity and having difficulty, you may be able to dig it up elsewhere.  If available, a friend in a high place may be helpful as well.  Be prepared to change course as a result, once you balance out all the pros and cons.

Full Moon

The Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, which gives it additional punch as well.  As a general rule, a solar eclipse brings events and situations while the lunar version is slightly more likely to pertain to emotional matters, perhaps even any repercussions brought about by said events.  The change of course element noted above has dissipated, which suggests you're either already heading in a different direction or perhaps now it's too late.  Reality may be clashing with fantasy or delusions that could be tremendously confusing until you sort things out, which probably won't be easy.  Once you figure things out, taking decisive action is favored which will probably be along a unique, unusual or even rebellious pathway that you will construct along the way.

Resolving old issues is favored as Chiron, "the wounded healer", joins the lunar South Node.  Venus in Pisces, sign of her exaltation, may bring a bit of extra luck your way as well, but be sure to show your gratitude and avoid being over-confident.

OTHER COSMIC EVENTS

This month Saturn stations retrograde (RX) in Sagittarius, your 2nd house of income, finances, possessions, needs, comforts and pleasures.  Saturn RX typically slows things down to a crawl, instituting various boundaries, limitations and delays.  He also operates on the subconscious level, focusing on something that needs to be rebuilt or restructured.  If you're working too hard and not taking enough time for yourself, this could be a target, or the reverse could also be true, if you're a spendthrift and not managing your resources properly.  You probably won't know what this issue is until August, when Saturn stations direct, and with appropriate determination you should be able to rectify matters by around the time of your birthday.  Meanwhile, give this part of your life some thought, to prime the pump a little.  Also listen to your intuition in this regard.

Saturn is at the apex of a mutable T-square which also influences the message of this RX period.  Venus in fellow Water Sign, Pisces, your 5th house of ego definition, creativity, entertainment, romance, children and speculation, is one and Jupiter in Virgo, your 11th house of friends, goals, networking, organizations, groups, hopes and wishes, is the other.  Venus is exalted in Pisces which enhances her positive energy tremendously.  With Neptune, that sign's ruler, there as well, you may have a strong urge to chill, which could also lean toward self-indulgence, which will have a negative impact on your budget.  It's thus advisable that you channel this creative energy in a less-expensive manner.  Jupiter is also retrograde which makes him slightly less expansive and more philosophical.  This is a time to look at your 11th house for anything there that may also have a negative effect on your finances, such as too much partying with friends. 

Your traditional ruler, Mars, is in your 2nd house as well where he's perhaps pushing you to take action on something related to work, perhaps something you think will turn a profit.  There's a bit of caution there as well, since Mars stations retrograde, too, in April, which could bring the need to redo, undo or simply regret any actions that didn't turn out as expected.  With your modern sign ruler, Pluto, hanging out in your 3rd house of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and local travel, use this useful boost to your already strong intuitive powers to sort through the best way to resolve any conflicts as noted for Venus and Jupiter.
