New Moon/Solar Eclipse

This month's New Moon is also a solar eclipse, which gives it a lot more strength.  Eclipses have considerable staying power as well, meaning their influence may be felt before or even months after their occurrence.  Check the house placement for this lunation above and then watch that part of your life for something to come along, especially if your birthdate is within a day or so of the date indicated for the strongest influence.  The eclipse opposes Jupiter, who's retrograde in Virgo, sign of his traditional debility, which could bring a wealth of information your way, both of an intuitive and logical nature.  This could be a case of TMI, i.e. "too much information" and bring some level of confusion.  Go with your gut feeling, but don't be surprised if you find it all somewhat confusing. 

There are two overlapping aspect patterns further activated by this eclipse which have been hanging in there for quite some time since it involves the outer , slow-moving planets.  I generally refer to them as "course adjustment loops" which are best described as bringing a situation where what you've been doing is clearly not working, driving you to another course of action.  The good news is that the eclipse could be the vehicle to finally deliver the solution you've been looking for, which could introduce itself as an annoyance from the past that can be turned to your advantage with a bit of effort on your part.  An older person or authority figure may be helpful in bringing an innovative solution.  If you've been trying to extract data from someone or some other entity and having difficulty, you may be able to dig it up elsewhere.  If available, a friend in a high place may be helpful as well.  Be prepared to change course as a result, once you balance out all the pros and cons.

Full Moon

The Full Moon is a lunar eclipse, which gives it additional punch as well.  As a general rule, a solar eclipse brings events and situations while the lunar version is slightly more likely to pertain to emotional matters, perhaps even any repercussions brought about by said events.  The change of course element noted above has dissipated, which suggests you're either already heading in a different direction or perhaps now it's too late.  Reality may be clashing with fantasy or delusions that could be tremendously confusing until you sort things out, which probably won't be easy.  Once you figure things out, taking decisive action is favored which will probably be along a unique, unusual or even rebellious pathway that you will construct along the way.

Resolving old issues is favored as Chiron, "the wounded healer", joins the lunar South Node.  Venus in Pisces, sign of her exaltation, may bring a bit of extra luck your way as well, but be sure to show your gratitude and avoid being over-confident.

OTHER COSMIC EVENTS

This month Saturn stations retrograde (RX) in fellow Mutable Sign, Sagittarius, your 4th house of home environment, cultural roots, memories, endings and new beginnings.  Saturn RX is notorious for delays, obstacles, limitations and giving you the feelings you're dragging your feet in the mud.  While you may notice this in situations around you, also note that his primary operation is at the subconscious level where he's stirring up something that needs to be rebuilt or restructured which will relate to this house.  You may not have a clue what this is all about until he stations direct in August, but there's a good chance you can have it taken care of by November.

This RX station chart shows that Saturn is at the apex of a T-square with Jupiter in your sign and Venus in Pisces, you're polar sign, which represents your 7th house of close relationships including you significant other, close friends and relatives, business partners, cliental, business professionals, competitors and open enemies.  If your birthday is right around September 9 this will have the most impact since Jupiter, who's also retrograde, is conjunct your natal Sun as well as squaring Saturn.  Jupiter parked on your Sun could prove to be a bit less stellar than you're think.  Jupiter has the reputation for being lucky but in reality he simply expands what he touches, for good or ill.  In other words he's mostly neutral, like your sign ruler, Mercury, so he will only inflate the effects of everything else.  On your Sun he could make you appear or feel bigger than life, over-confident, or possibly more hung up on details and being critical than usual.  Venus, opposing Jupiter in the 7th, is in Pisces, where she's exalted, so rather strong, which can help balance things out.  In other words, Venus in the 7th should help your personal relationships to run nicely, in spite of everything else.

There are some transformational implications associated with this RX period and you may want to move forward on a project, perhaps an expensive one that will require borrowing money, such as remodeling your present house or perhaps furnishing it.  With Saturn turning RX, things are likely to proceed slower than expected, but using your creativity may help, as long as you don't get too carried away.
