FULL MOON

This month's Full Moon is on 13 July in Capricorn. The lunation is a little over 6 degrees from Pluto, which for a lunation is close enough to be considered a conjunction, which brings a rather somber tone. The world has been filled with Plutonian influences for a few years now which have affected nearly everyone on the planet between the plandemic, draconian lockdowns, and vaccine mandates that have maimed and killed thousands. We can always hope that this is a good sign this could be culminating, though not necessarily since a full moon can also indicate a shift to a new phase that could be equally unpleasant. What comes to mind first are the looming food shortages.

Uranus forms a triangle of potential with the Sun-Moon opposition, suggesting there could be an opportunity for change. One for the better would certainly be welcome. Venus, the planet that rules what we value, need, and desire is trining Saturn, suggesting there could be rebuilding or restructuring of a positive nature. Venus' square with Neptune, however, suggests it could be no more than illusion or some effort put forth to make people believe everything will be okay and there's nothing to worry about. If there's anything the powers that be do not want, it's a mass panic. Or do they? Sometimes an uprising is just the distraction they want, but the key is at whom or what it's directed. The semi-sextile between Neptune and Saturn suggests friction and annoyances between these two efforts.

Mercury is in another "close enough" conjunction with the Sun, suggesting news with an emotional impact, his sextile with Uranus indicating it will be unexpected and disruptive. Someone this does not smell as if it will be good, especially with Chiron, the "wounded healer," squaring Mercury. Mars and Jupiter are unaspected, giving them additional power to act independently. Jupiter in Aries is like throwing gasoline on a fire and Mars in Taurus functions like a bulldozer or backhoe. July 16 - 19 these two will be semisextile, showing friction that reminds me of starting a fire by rubbing two sticks together.

NEW MOON

The New Moon in Leo is 28 July. The lunation trines Jupiter in Aries, both in Fire Signs, which definitely suggests a few sparks could fly. The only partile aspect is the square between Mercury and Uranus. Mercury is in Leo, implying information that has a personal and potentially inflammatory effect while Uranus, natural ruler of explosions, disruptions, and the unexpected, not sounding particularly favorable. Mercury is squaring Mars as well, suggesting some determined action is likely to follow this announcement.

Saturn and Uranus are in a rather wide-orb square. These two planets are pretty antithetical in their influences where Saturn tends to build up and Uranus break down. This confrontation doesn't look friendly, either. It's part of a somewhat sloppy T-square that involves the square from Mercury to Uranus. Fundamentally, it looks as if unexpected or explosive news brings about a significant amount of tension with Saturn, who's trying to do some damage control/rebuilding.

Venus in Cancer, where's she's quite emotional over what she needs, is squaring Jupiter in Aries, which could produce a rather significant temper-tantrum. This could easily relate to the significant inflation in effect battering people's budgets world-wide or even the recent overturning of Roe vs. Wade, which is being lamented on one side and celebrated on the other.

I can't help but do some unsolicited editorializing on this subject. The way I see it, until the moral limits of abortion were pushed to allow this deadly procedure up until 9 months gestation, the situation was relatively stable. This new demand, which amounts to infanticide, and literally so in the days that follow, as some want to allow crosses a line that many cannot tolerate.  Just about everyone knows someone who had a very premature baby, say around 5 months gestation, for whom great measures were taken for the child to survive, which succeeded, allowing the child to grow up. An abortion by definition is taking the life of the fetus/baby. At 9 months, there is little question the child would survive. Anyone who does not want the product of an unwanted pregnancy should be able to make that decision long before the entire gestation period has passed.

Furthermore, with all the fertility issues introduced by the vaccine, it's likely there will be more couples than ever wanting to adopt. Anyone who can't decide until they're ready to go into labor needs to let nature takes its course and put the baby up for adoption. It's hard to see killing the baby so it's organs and stem cells can be harvested by the pharmaceutical industry, perhaps for a large payment, as anything but a vicious attack on the sanctity of life with nothing to do with women's rights. There are women in prison who have killed their children. No moral person could possibly approve of child abuse. Thus, it's hard for me to see how this is okay, especially with plenty of options available for birth control in the first place.

What have we become?

JUPITER RETROGRADE

A few hours after the New Moon, Jupiter stations retrograde. Jupiter retrograde tends to relate to ethics issues according to astrologer Erin Sullivan, who literally wrote the book on retrograde planets. That is such a target-rich environment it boggles the mind. This chart is virtually identical to the New Moon, other than the Moon moving a few degrees. Maybe this is when the above mentioned abortion issue really hits the fan. Those who favor full-term abortion are certainly known to be given to violence. That T-square with Saturn reasserts itself, considering Saturn tends to be the planet that supports family values, responsibility, and meeting ones obligations.

Then again, Saturn was the mythological figure who ate his own children, so who knows?

Mars conjunct Uranus is explosive in any number of ways as they move toward a collision with the North Node, their field of influence even including the weather, which is already off the scale thanks to geo-engineering.

There appear to be many issues brewing out there besides the skyrocketing cost of gas and the dwindling food supply. If you haven't been paying attention, maybe it's time you did. This video is a good place to start.
