Lunations and Long-term Aspects

The Full Moon occurs on April 9th in your 9th House of beliefs, long-distance travel, relocation, legal matters, and higher education, which will bring a culmination or shift in one or more of these areas.  The Moon will bring emotional energy to this area that in turn will interact with new thoughts stimulated by the Sun, who will be in Aries, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors, and short journeys.  Other aspects imprinting this lunation with its character indicate the way you can rectify these issues will be through expanding your creativity as you search for a solution.  A change of course from where you originally thought you were going will be required, which will need to come from your heart with a commitment to resolve it through your own action.  Obstacles are likely, but you can shift them to your advantage with that creativity that is just begging to participate.  An awkward situation may result with someone close to you, but if your conversations are honest and sufficiently probing to find the real issue, the result should be positive.  If your birthday is between February 7 - 9 this will have a stronger effect than for others.

The New Moon on the 24th is in Taurus, your 4th House, which comprises your home environment.  This should bring something new into your life in this area, which could be just about anything that has to do with your home and the people in it.  It could mean a move, remodeling, someone moving in or out, a change in schedule and routine, or just about anything else that involves your home.  The personality of this lunation may not appear too friendly at first, as it's likely to bring some speedbumps or a situation with it that forces you to go somewhere you haven't been before in an emotional sense.  If you've been refusing to see the truth of a situation because you don't like its implications, chances are it will not allow you to hide your head in the sand any further.  Conversations and data will take place that may be difficult, and those of the opposite gender from yourself are not likely to see things the same way.  However, in unearthing and addressing hidden issues that have been neglected for too long, resolution should be forthcoming which will clear the path to progress, but will probably involve some possibly radical changes of a financial nature.  Those of you born between roughly January 24 - 26 are most likely to be affected.

Those of you born January 22 - 24 may be feeling that Pluto transit in Capricorn already and it will continue through this month.  It may be beneath your radar as a minor annoyance, but will be stirring up old dirt in some way.  It may be no more than finding out someone you thought was your friend made an unkind remark, or a long wait for an appointment that messes up your day, but it will show up somewhere.  Venus comes out of retrograde on April 16th, which may not be terrifically noticeable since her retrograde effects are subtle, but if you find yourself thinking about your financial situation differently than before, which of course could also tie into the Full and New Moon, that will be a contributor. 

Short-term Aspects

Saturn's retrograde period continues in Virgo, your 8th House of transformations, which should bring something to your attention by mid-May that requires restructuring.  Around April 3rd a change of direction may be required that relates to how you've been seeing a certain situation which will give you at least a clue of what this might be, if you don't already know.  More than likely money or relationships will be involved when something comes along that was previously hidden and is now impossible to ignore.  This could involve an institution of some sort, a false friend, or simply something that has reached the point where it needs to be resolved.  April 4th should bring some helpful information or encouragement your way that assists you, so pay attention to what your thoughts are as well as any relevant conversations that may contain the seeds of a solution.  April 5th your finances may take a hit of some sort that further drive you toward making some adjustments, like it or not.  Inspiration is out there on the 7th, so hang in there because a solution, albeit different or creative, is just waiting to be discovered.

Mercury goes into Taurus, your 4th House of home environment, on the 9th, which will facilitate communication in that area.  This is right when the Full Moon will be occurring, so some astrological help will be available in sorting that out.  More adjustments or another Catch-22 will be out there on the 10th, but again, opportunities to move forward personally are there.  This is a time of personal growth and expansion, though it's also a time when you could be over-confident and present yourself in a way that could bite you later, so don't make any promises you won't be able to keep.  Unearthing hidden information, particularly anything that has heretofore been swept under the rug, will be especially profuse on the 11th.  While such discoveries are not always pleasant, they do clear the way for us to take care of business and clean them out, once and for all.

April 15 is a day we all dread as a rule, unless you're one of those who are getting an income tax refund versus having to pay.  If you've waited until this day to do your taxes, you're likely to encounter an unpleasant surprise.  Be especially careful that day to avoid accidents and bear in mind that aggressive people may stir up some trouble as well.  Inspired ideas are out there, but make sure they're based in reality.  No matter how pretty they may be, catching a rainbow is something that cannot be done.  By the 18th, you should be getting in synch with what has to be done to get everything resolved, and the next day the Sun will go into Taurus, your 4th House of home environment, highlighting that area of your life. 

On the 21st those financial issues or something related to your possessions (which include your body, by the way) will be up to something.  There's a good chance that something good is out there, but you're going to have to go get it; it won't come to you unaided by your own efforts.  On the 23rd something is going to come along that challenges your thoughts about yourself.  If you've been over-confident, expect to be deflated in one way or another as something comes up at home that's a challenge, though getting all the facts, whether or not they're particularly pleasant, should come easily with some of it rather surprising.  This is about the time that New Moon is occurring, so refer to that section for more information.  On the 26th, if you've been attempting to fool yourself in some way about something, there's a good chance that the Universe is going to no longer allow you to do so, so if you've been on your high-horse, remember that it's less painful to dismount on your own accord rather than being thrown off.

This should be a busy month that relates to your finances and home environment.  There's something out there you need to be adjusting, changing, or restructuring in some way.  Pay attention to what's going on around you, be honest in accepting your place in the situation, then take whatever steps are required to set things straight.
