Lunations and Long Term Aspects

Note that Saturn is still retrograde in your 1st House of personality, which means that you are going to continue to see various delays in whatever you're trying to accomplish until the middle of May. Saturn RX is about restructuring, which typically involves delays. Since most Virgos are very organized by nature, but not necessarily very patient, this has probably been annoying, but your best bet is to pay attention to what he's trying to teach you so you don't have to repeat that particular life's lesson later.

The Full Moon this month occurs on April 9th in Libra, your 2nd House of finance, possessions, and pleasures, which will bring a culmination or usher in a new phase of something in that part of your life. Lunations and eclipses bring a personality of their own, based on the aspects that accompany them. This particular Full Moon spans your 2nd House of finances, possessions and pleasures and your 8th House of transformations, other people's resources, sex, death and regeneration, so these are the areas that will receive the most emphasis. Jupiter is in Aquarius, your 6th House of work, health and pets, where he's forming an aspect pattern known as a Triangle of Potential, which comprises harmonious aspects with the Sun and Moon. This forms a pivot point that will be key in resolving whatever it is the Full Moon is emphasizing in your life. Jupiter is usually lucky and tends to expand whatever he touches and with him in your House of work and health, something that is developing in that area will play into the purpose of this Full Moon.

However, some adjustments or a change in course are going to be required in one or more of your relationships. Remember that these include your close friends and relatives and business partners in addition to your significant other. Furthermore, retrograde Pluto is digging around in your 5th House of ego and self-expression (which also includes your children, lovers, hobbies, and speculations) and throwing a square to Venus, who's also retrograde and stirring things up that you've been ignoring in that critical 8th House of transformations. This implies that there is something you need to take a close look at that is tied into your ego in some way, the resolution of which will bring a significant change to who and what you are. This will have even more import to those of you with birthdays on or within a day or so of September 9th. Your relationships are an integral part of all this, and it's likely that a series of minor annoyances is going to stir things up and get your attention. Your core beliefs are also tied into all this, which will necessitate a close look at them as well. The daily transits as described in the section below will further support what's going on with both the Full and New Moon.

The New Moon on the 24th occurs in your 9th House of beliefs (which include politics and religion), long distance travel, relocation, legal matters, and higher education, indicating something new is coming into your life in one of these areas. This will not necessarily be a smooth entry, however, but will be accompanied by various challenges that relate to your work or health. Your beliefs or expectations relative to this area of your life are not likely to be proceeding as planned. Be especially wary of over-confidence or delusions or they may develop into full-blown annoyances and surprises that you probably won't like.

Nonetheless, opportunities await, which will be associated with something unexpected that comes along involving someone close to you. The overall affect of all this will have a positive effect on you in the long-haul, however, even if it trims your ego a bit, since your overall view of the world will be changed in a way that will benefit you later. As with all meaningful life lessons, they usually aren't easy, but well worth it once we get past them.

All of these events are in support of that Pluto transit over there working on your ego. If your birthday is within a day or so of August 26 you will notice this even more than others. As a perfectionist at heart, bear in mind that no matter what goes on it will make you a better person, even if it's annoying at the time. Nonetheless, it will take you in a positive direction.

Short Term Aspects

The first week of the month some news or information will come your way that will make you realize the necessity of making a few changes. Both Venus and Pluto are hard at work stirring up issues for your attention that you've ignored for long enough. Opportunities at work are likely to come along, but in order to take advantage of them it may require a different approach than you've taken in the past. Restructuring one or more relationships will be a good place to start. Look at how you interact with those close to you and how your behavior may drive the results. Once you have that figured out, assuming you don't like what you discover, make the necessary adjustments. Inspiration is a possibility, but make sure you keep it within the bounds of reality.

Mercury enters Taurus on the 9th, which will facilitate that possible overhaul on your core beliefs that's on the cosmic agenda. The Full Moon also occurs that day, so keep an eye out for that as well. A few days later on the 11th, Venus backs into Pisces, which will stir up a few things that need attention in your close relationships. Don't ignore them because ultimately getting them taken care of will be beneficial and cause a lot less trouble later. Deep introspection and insights into past events or facts that have previously been covered up in some way are there to help you at this time.

Right around April 15th, expect a surprise or disruption of some description to occur in one or more of your relationships. You may finally reach your limit with dealing with someone close to you or conversely they may decide to get in your face about something. This is likely to be someone or something related to work and may not be based on fact. If that's the case, the first thing you need to do is determine what is true and where the delusions came from if you want to solve it. Venus goes direct on the 16th, which should bring another hint regarding that neglected issue pertaining to how you interact with those closest to you. Some revelations pertaining to your core beliefs and expectations should come along around the 18th and continue for the next month.

An interesting encounter with someone is likely on the 21st, which will further reveal what the real issue is and further help you along the transformation path you're on, like it or not. Work is going to be involved in some way with one possibility that your expectations are going to be challenged. On the positive side, this may further reveal to you some area where your beliefs have been out of whack. There's a possibility that your children, if you have any, may be involved, but it appears that most of this is about you and your ego. Just about this time, that New Moon will come along on the 24th and by then you should have a clear view of what's been going on, which is a good thing, because once you know what needs to be done, you're pretty good at putting together a plan to "git 'r' dun."

This month will be a little more intense than usual and most of it will probably be outside of your comfort zone. Your view of a variety of things is under review and the Universe is tutoring you to make a few changes in how you see the world. Virgos don't like to be criticized, even though they're usually pretty good at dishing it out, and it's important that you resist the urge to be defensive during this time. The more you fight against what's going on, the harder it will be to acquiesce later and expanding your a priori assumptions and existing paradigms, particularly as they relate to relationships, will bring numerous benefits as time goes on.
