Lunations and Long-Term Aspects The lunations this month have an extra punch due to the fact they're eclipses, plus they're in angular houses for Crabs, i.e. the Full Moon is in your 7th House of relationships and the New Moon is in your 1st House of personality. As a quick aside, the angular houses are the 1st, 4th, 7th, and 10th and are associated respectively with you personally, your home life, relationships, and how you influence the world, which includes but is not limited to your career. As you can see these are all extremely important to your life and happiness implying events occurring there will have more personal effects than some of the other houses. The overall personality of this eclipse pair is that of sudden reforms. Old methods simply don't work anymore and a new system is required along with new ways to handle old problems. Any obstacles may be removed in a sudden or even drastic way. The Full Moon/Lunar Eclipse on July 7 is in Capricorn, your 7th House of relationships. Remember that a Full Moon heralds a culmination or shift to a different phase. Saturn has a strong influence in this eclipse since he's forming a Triangle of Potential with the Sun/Moon. This implies that discipline and structure are important elements that will manifest in your thoughts and ideas. Some adjustments are due in your closest relationships, perhaps involving the time spent with friends, organizational activities, or associations, where you might encounter an unexpected collision between your beliefs and those around you. If you're planning a trip that involves a significant distance be especially careful by not taking any unnecessary chances. Mars is squaring that long-term stellium which is currently retrograde comprising Jupiter, Neptune and the asteroid Chiron in Aquarius, your 8th House of sex, death, other people's resources, and transformations. Retrograde planets typically don't deliver as promised, so be careful of delusions. These are likely to come from some group or association who will probably lead you on in some way with promises that won't materialize. This could be a hard lesson, depending on your level of involvement or disappointment. That annoying hectic pace will continue for quite a while as well which will interfere with your plans in a variety of ways. Whatever you do, expect everything to take longer than usual due to various interruptions or disturbances that keep you from the task at hand. The New Moon/Solar Eclipse on the 21st will usher something new into your life, especially if your birthday is within a few days of July 21st. Expect surprises, probably good ones, that will affect your view of the world in some way. Pluto has been plodding along in your 7th House of relationships for a while now and he's likely to make an appearance in all this by forcing an adjustment to one of your relationships. Remember that this includes not only your significant other but close friends and relatives as well as business partners. If your ties with anyone in this category are worn out or not useful any longer, you'll see that it's time to let this person exit from the stage of your life. It's also a favorable time to be thinking about enriching your life in a non-material way. Mercury goes into Cancer on July 3rd, sharpening your communications and mental faculties, which will help you deal with anything that comes your way. On July 4th Mercury opposes Pluto which will bring something out of the woodwork for you to deal with regarding one of your relationships. On the 5th friendly Venus goes into Gemini, your 12th House of enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, institutions and confinement which opens the way for some new insights. Between July 6 - 7 Mars will be squaring that stellium in Aquarius, as noted above with regard to the Full Moon. Keep your eyes open for happenings that relate to your friends or organizational involvements which are going to have a deep and lasting affect on you in some way. On the 9th the Sun sextiles Saturn with Mercury following suit a few days later, both of which provide some good vibes that could help you get more organized. These will reach a crescendo on the 14th when the Sun and Mercury converge. For those of you with birthdays right around that time this will have a noticeable effect and will last into the coming year as it will be incorporated into your Solar Return. Back on July 10 Jupiter and Neptune will be in exact conjunction, so be on the lookout for over-inflated promises or illusions. If something sounds too good to be true, it probably is. Typically this means a change of course is in order, so don't make any solid, irrevocable decisions at this time until more data becomes available so you know what you're getting into. On the 19th when the Sun trines Uranus a good surprise may come your way. If you're thinking of going back to school, this should help pave the way for you to do so. It could also bring a trip, relocation, or simply a significant change to your beliefs and expectations. News or information related to your finances or possessions will come your way on the 20th that will offer some inspiration regarding those pending decisions. The next day you may find that there are more restrictions attached to your choices than you realized. The Sun goes into Leo, your 2nd House of possessions and finances, on July 22, bringing even more emphasis to this part of your life. When the Sun quincunxes Pluto on the 23rd even more adjustments will be coming your way regarding a close relationship. Venus takes her turn interacting with that stellium between July 27 - 28, which should bring a thought or experience your way that also has a strong bearing on who and what you are and what you believe in. Mercury takes his turn with an opposition to them July 30 - 31, which could potentially be delusional. Remember that the trio is retrograde, meaning they're not likely to deliver. Venus goes into Cancer on the 31st, which will enhance your personal charm and appearance as she traverses your Sign; this is an excellent time to ask for something you want, interview for a job, or just about anything else where you need to be perceived in a positive way. This month is all about adjustments. Remember that the theme of the month's eclipses is change due to the fact that old methods are no longer effective. Keep an eye on your finances and take care of whatever maintenance needs to be done on any relationships. Things are not likely to be as they seem and it would be very easy to fall for some big fat lies or delusions. Stay alert with your radar properly deployed to discern when things aren't quite right.
