Lunations and Long Term Aspects This month the Full Moon occurs on the 10th in your 6th House of work, health, and pets. The Full Moon typically heralds the culmination of something, so this is likely to be the completion of a project or perhaps a specific phase of something you've been working on for the past month or so. It could also relate to your health in some way. Since a Full Moon by definition is an opposition between the Sun and Moon, it will also highlight your emotions and perhaps pit them against your head. The Saturn - Uranus opposition that is still in progress due to Saturn being retrograde is also tucked in there and interestingly enough this lunation will possibly reverse how you've been dealing with that up until now. As noted last month, there's an argument going on between your need for change and freedom versus meeting your responsibilities and maintaining stability. Ordinarily you would think that your need for freedom would derive its basis from your emotions and stability from logic. However, this Full Moon will throw some logic at the need for change and conversely feed your emotional attachment to the structure in your life. It's time for some adjustments in this areas, albeit progress toward where you need to go so it's time to figure a few things out. Fortunately, some deep thinking is favored that will help you determine some of what is holding you back and its origin, which may surprise you. Expanding your spiritual insights is favored as well, along with recognizing the need to pamper yourself a bit, particularly if you've been working too hard lately. The New Moon on the 26th is in Aries, your 1st House of personality. If your birthday is on March 27, give or take a few days, this will have a noticeable impact and should kick-start the decisions you arrive at in the time immediately preceding it regarding a new direction. This won't necessarily be easy, but you'll know that it's something you need to do. It's going to affect your work in some way though it's possible that won't be entirely obvious at first. Take note of what occurred with the Full Moon and it should give you a hint; if something ended at that time, where you should go from there will be tied into the New Moon, which is beckoning to you to make some changes. Between March 6 - April 16 Venus will be retrograde in your 1st House. Venus retrograde will usually relate to either your finances or your relationships or possibly both, since they definitely tend to interact. Because this is occurring right around your solar return period (a.k.a. your birthday) this is going to be in effect for the coming year. If your birthday is between March 20 - April 6, give or take a day or so, this will be even more noticeable. Take this time to assess where you are with both areas and whether they're meeting your needs. If not, this is a good time to open up some discussions with the relevant parties to determine what needs to be done to make the situation more favorable. With various other changes and new starts in work, it's not surprising that this will affect other areas of your life as well, including the people in it, so take advantage of this zodiacal nudge to get this area into shape as well. Between March 14 - 31 Jupiter will be quincunx Saturn. A quincunx usually indicates a change in direction, adjustments, or sometimes being caught in a Catch-22 situation. No big surprise, this is also going to relate to work in some way, particularly if you work on a team as opposed to independently. There may be a shifting of responsibilities, who's in charge, the addition of new members, or perhaps simply whatever you're working on will escalate or expand in some manner. Of course the real question is how this affects you. Whatever is going on will likely cause you to change your outlook or attitude, but make sure you don't exhibit over-confidence, or you could find yourself in an uncomfortable situation. Remember that Saturn is retrograde, so something is going on behind the scenes, whether it involves your boss or simply ruminations inside your own head relative to how you fit into the big picture. This will undoubtedly fit in with the Full and New Moon in some way as well. If you're not particularly happy with your job description, now is the time to figure out why and what you need to do about it. Short Term/Daily Aspects The month starts out with some news, information, or possibly a new idea that will relate to that job situation in some way. Take note as it's going to be a precursor of what's going on with the lunations and that Saturn - Jupiter business noted above. It will come in a direct and possibly confrontational manner, perhaps as a push or aggressive move on the part of one of your coworkers. Of course you can always use this energy for you to take a similar action, depending on your circumstances, such as if you're the one with a new idea. If you've been trying to push it through, now would be a good time; just remember not to be over-confident or arrogant or it might backfire. On March 5th, give or take a day or so, it may evaporate before your eyes, though there's also the possibility for some serious inspiration. More likely your thoughts will be foggy, disconnected, and lost in space, so this is not the time to try to present it to others as they probably won't have a clue what you're trying to convey. On March 8th the same thing could happen to your ambition. You may remember the old expression "My get up and go, got up and went." That pretty well sums up what to expect that day. Not to worry, it will come back, but not for a few days, so this is a good time to take a break and just chill. At that same time other things are going to be happening on the job that you should take note of, but not necessarily any action. File it all away to factor into those ruminations that are fermenting away in your subconscious and due for review in mid-May. On the 10th, besides the effects of the Full Moon noted earlier, you'll stumble on something that's been kept hidden and relates to your career. Remember that your job and career are not necessarily the same. If your heart is not in your work, chances are they're not. The career is where you'll leave your mark on the world, find public recognition, or achieve status. Your job, on the other hand, is the work you do. If you're an aspiring author who spends your days asking "Do you want fries with that?" then clearly you can see the difference between the two. If there's nothing going on with your job or career, then this is likely to apply to your health. If you haven't been feeling very well lately, you may have some health issue brewing that you should pay attention to. It's also a favorable time to work on improving your diet or starting a fitness program appropriate for your age and physical condition. On the 11th, give some deep consideration to whether your personality is in synch with your career ambitions. Is it an area where you find a high degree of self-expression or does it feel oppressive? Pluto is transiting your 10th House of career and will be for several years to come, which will certainly provide the impetus necessary to figure this out. Pluto is about death and regeneration, so if it's time to change careers, the Universe will be providing some help. You can try to ignore it if you like, but in that case events and situations will come your way to get your attention, like it or not. Pluto does not like to be ignored. Expect the unexpected on the 12th. This could be anything from a million-dollar idea to an "Aha!" moment of some other variety. You may find yourself trapped in some way, either literally or figuratively, or someone may try to undermine you in some way. It could be just about anything, but it will be out of the ordinary, could be disruptive, and will be totally unexpected. An irritating feeling that you're stuck or under attack may come your way on the 13th. Someone or something may be trying to tell you something you don't want to hear or conflict with what you want to do. Try not to take it personally but listen to what it's saying as the information will prove useful, even if you don't like what it's trying to say. On the 18th expect some news relative to your job or health; either that, or some useful insights or inspiration that could come through a dream. The next day an opportunity related to your career renovation is out there, but you're going to have to go after it; it won't come to you without some work on your part. On the day after that, the Sun goes into Aries, which you should feel as a breath of fresh air. More unexpected news is out there on the 21st that once again could take just about any form imaginable and could provide more information relative to that unexpected event that happened on the 12th. On the 22nd that Jupiter - Saturn quincunx mentioned above is exact, so will peak at that time. A crisis or conflict in the form of a power struggle related to your career is likely on the 23rd. If you have anything to hide in this area, some mistake or less than glorious thing you may have done, it could also come out and bite you. It may also manifest as something that makes it clear why some remodeling in the career zone is more than appropriate. This could even be the start of a new beginning that the New Moon will take up on the 26th. Come the 27th some supporting ideas will come our way, either regarding why you need to change directions or perhaps even to where. Sometimes we know a change is in order, but we don't know what it should be, so this could bring some insights into one or both. From that point until the end of the month expect to have a lot of emphasis on your financial situation and relationships. All the data you've been gathering, if only subconsciously, will start to form a picture, albeit a big foggy. Even if the activities of those few days doesn't seem related to your finances or relationships, look at it in that context because you're bound to get some ideas and information from it regardless. Clearly this is going to be a busy and significant month, largely as it relates to work and your career. Your finances and relationships are also under review along with some new directions in your life. If you're a March Aries your solar return occurs this month and if your birthday is in April, it's right around the corner. Thus, a new cycle is in work so if you feel restless or as if a change is afoot, you're right on target. What's in store for you in 2009? Find out with a Solar Return Report!
