Long-term Aspects This month the Full Moon, which occurs on the 10th, is in Virgo, your 4th House of home environment, which includes your physical home and everyone and everything in it. If your birthday is within a few days one way or the other of June 11, this will have more significance since it will form an aspect pattern known as a T-square with your natal Sun, making it much more personal. One thing interesting about this particular lunation is the fact that ongoing opposition between Saturn and Uranus is snuggled right in there with the Moon and Sun, respectively. That aspect is already doing a number on you relative to your home life and career, which will be emphasized even more. A Full Moon usually indicates the culmination or ending of something, so even though Saturn and Uranus will continue their duel for a while longer, you may at least complete a certain phase in the ongoing tug-o-war. Deep, probing communications into your past or issues that have been swept beneath the rug are favored as well as opportunities in the area of group dynamics, such as the exchange of ideas. As long as we're on the subject of your group interactions, note that from March 6 through April 16 Venus will be retrograde in that particular neighborhood of your natal chart. This tends to stir things up that have been neglected in that particular area. Venus goes retrograde in the same house approximately every eight years, so if you think back to something that was going on in your life relative to groups, organizations, your friends, or even fulfillment of your hopes and wishes between March - May 2001, it may help you identify what is being stirred up now. Since this is occurring in Aries, which is sextile Gemini and thus a favorable aspect, this should bring an opportunity you way as well, so pay close attention. The New Moon is also in Aries on March 26, which could very well kick off events that will lead into that revelation Venus is working on. Something from your past may throw a few speedbumps your way and need to be resolved before you can move forward, but once that's taken care of you should be able to progress. Saturn and Jupiter are in an aspect known as a quincunx between March 14 - 31. This particular aspect usually indicates than an adjustment or change of course is required. Saturn, as implied earlier, is in your 4th House of home environment and nagging on you about something that needs to be restructured there, whether it's your home itself or something related to your family. Jupiter is about expansion and in the 9th House, which he naturally rules, it will frequently relate to your beliefs, though other 9th House elements include religion, politics, long distance travel/relocation, legal matters, and academia. If any of these areas have significance in your life, then now is the time that you will be thinking about anything that needs to be done in that regard. For example, maybe it's time to bring a more structured approach to religion into you life, maybe a major move should be considered, or even going back to school. Give it serious thought during this time along with any actions that may be required to make it happen. Short-term Aspects The month begins with Mercury throwing some information your way on the 1st that should relate to that Saturn-Jupiter quincunx mentioned above. Pay attention and see what it's telling you. That same day you can also expect some strong motivation to accompany whatever news or ideas come your way. By the 5th inspiration should be flowing and helping you put all the pieces together, but your reaction could either entail a burst of energy to attain it or conversely, around the 8th it could evaporate in confusion or perhaps the delusion that no effort is required on your part to make it happen. It could also trigger an intense interest or experience with the occult, which will be a bit uncomfortable for someone as entrenched in reality and fact as you are. If it's sheer inspiration, no matter how inevitable or easy it may appear, don't think for a moment that it will be handed to you on a silver platter. Also on the 8th those career vs. home issues are going to make an appearance that's hard to miss. No matter how popular or irreplaceable you may be in your career, those responsibilities at home are yours and no one else's. Come March 10th besides the Full Moon, some information or thoughts may come your way that result in a personal transformation as you recognize something from your past that you missed before but understand now that results in one of those "Aha!" moments. It may require cleaning up some messes from the past but will be worth it as it will allow you to move forward unencumbered. On the 11th expect an opportunity to develop relative to your beliefs and group associations, though some friction may develop a day or so later. Press on, it will clear. The 12th will bring a significant surprise, change, or unexpected event relative to your career; pay attention to what's in it for you. March 18th more news related to work will impact your home life on on the 19th a breakthrough career-wise is coming that will have a transformational effect, perhaps by exposing something that's been kept hidden. More unexpected news is on the way on the 21st with that Jupiter - Saturn quincunx described above at its peak on the 22nd. Those groups associations are going to have a major impact around the 23rd such that you'll see things a bit differently after that, especially around the 27th when you start putting all the pieces together, whether or not you like what you see. The remainder of the month is going to continue to be occupied by those group or organizational ties you've developed or perhaps should. Note once again what it says above about Venus retrograde stirring something up you've been neglecting, as it's likely to play a part in there somewhere. Clearly the areas to keep an eye on this month are your home life, career, and group associations with your beliefs up for expansion or review as well. Adjustments in a variety of areas are coming, but as a mutable sign this shouldn't be a problem. Challenges and changes are all around, but the key to navigating them successfully is in using your very capable brain to stay one step ahead of what's going on around you.
