Lunations and Long-term Aspects

This month the New Moon occurs on February 13 in fellow Air Sign, Aquarius, casting favorable vibes your way which will be most noticeable to those born within a few days of October 19. Aquarius is your 5th House of creativity, self-expression, children, entertainment, romance and speculation, so expect something new to come your way in this part of your life. There are some interesting features of this lunation worth noting, including two overlapping Yods, an aspect pattern also know as the Finger of God. It employs two quincunxes and a sextile which imply a fated change of course as the result of something favorable coming your way. The planets comprising the first one are Pluto and and conjunction between Jupiter and Venus at the base with the point or eye directed at retrograde Mars. House placements imply that if you're dealing with something that requires renovation or attention within your home that you'll be able to resolve it via some good luck as far as work or service is concerned, e.g. a group effort of some sort. A good example would be discovering that you have a leaky roof that needs to be replaced but you're able to have a "roofing party" involving friends or coworkers that achieves your objective.

The second Yod largely reinforces the other due to the fact it involves the same planets with the exception of swapping out Pluto for Saturn and shifting the eye to the Jupiter/Venus pair. The meaning is changed slightly as you would expect, the Readers' Digest version being that it will be up to you to organize the effort and "make your own luck," if you will, getting this to happen.

A few other aspects to keep in mind include an opposition between Mercury and Mars, which suggests pursuit of a creative idea or plans to have some fun may try to distract you from resolving this issue. In other words, you may have tickets to an event you've been looking for which are for the only possible day when you can get enough people together to help with your home project. Mercury is trine Saturn, however, indicating that you'll be able to figure something out that will result in a happy ending. Saturn and Pluto are still in long-term square, encouraging you to restructure anything on the homefront that needs attention. If you don't know what these things may be, just give it some time because between Pluto who simply loves to expose hidden problems and Saturn who truly wants to restructure things in a suitable way, can both be trusted to let you know, perhaps by such joyful means as a broken sewer pipe in the middle of the night. If there is anything amiss with your homes structure, plumbing, wiring or anything else that lies hidden from sight, you will find out. This also applies to other more subtle home issues such as those involving family members at the relationship level.

The Full Moon on February 28th is in Virgo, your neighboring sign and 12th House of enlightenment, inspiration, dreams, confinement, institutions, and hidden enemies. A Full Moon typically indicates an ending or shift change which is likely to occur in this area of your life and also involve work or a project of some sort, possibly in a big way. Those born within a day or so of October 3 are most likely to notice this one. Other things to look out for include some adjustments to a group project, perhaps because things weren't done correctly or something was missed the first time. However, if you're the one who figures this out, you should come out of it looking good. It's a favorable time to start something new around home and while you're at it, spend some time looking at your past and how far you've come. A possible activity for this would be going through old pictures.

Short-term and Daily Aspects

February 5 - 7: If there's something you need to resolve at work, now's a good time to get to it. This includes anything that you should have done previously but either didn't or have figured out a way to do better. This could result in some disruptions that splash on your homelife in some way, such as having to spend more time at work, especially since there's also the possibility that something else will come along unexpectedly that no one knew about, was forgotten or otherwise out of sight. Of course all of this is going to strike at a time when you don't feel particularly motivated and much rather be sitting home by a nice fire with a glass of good wine.

February 10 - 11: Whatever is going on at work is going to involve numerous others at this point, but maintain your cool and you should come out of it looking good, even if it requires a change of course. On the 10th Mercury enters Aquarius, which will be good for your creativity as well as communicating with children or any romantic interests. Your self-expression will be enhanced generally, so take advantage of it. On the 11th your Sign Ruler Venus goes into Pisces, which will bring favor to your work, health and any projects you're working on. Venus can also bring money your way as the ruler of Taurus.

February 12: Expect to go back to the drawing board to make some adjustments or a complete change of course relative to something that involves your home and either your goals, a group association or perhaps even your friends. If you have a creative project going or some other things you enjoy, there are some very favorable vibes out there today to rework it in a very constructive way. You may have to dig a bit for the information, but it's out there.

February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! As the Sign which loves relationships, be sure to enjoy this day as much as you can. Your Sign Ruler is into it as well by bringing some kudos your way at work for your hard work and particularly taking care of those things that caused a stir a few days ago. Be sure to plan an enjoyable evening doing something you enjoy.

February 15 - 18: Another good day to get some work done around the house, particularly maintaining those things that can have hidden problems. Some rebuilding or organizing something that should have been done a while back (such as organizing your tax information) is another good thing to put on your list for this time period. Be careful that you don't bite off more than you can chew, however. In other words, if you go to Home Depot for a new flapper for the toilet, don't decide to remodel the entire bathroom while you're there.

February 18: The Sun enters Pisces, bringing his light and emphasis to your work, health, and projects.

February 20 - 23: Your to-do list at work will grow some more as additional things come to light that need to be either restructured or simply done correctly.

February 27: Expect to be dreamy and imaginative today and not very motivated to do much else.

February 28: Emphasis on work today, so plan accordingly. Again, if you wind up at Home Depot or Lowe's or some other type of establishment, don't get carried away as you probably have enough unfinished projects to keep you busy for a while. Full Moon today as well, as described above.
