Lunations and Long-term Aspects This month the New Moon is in Aquarius, your nextdoor neighbor, and 12th House of inspiration, enlightenment, dreams, institutions, large animals and hidden enemies, so look for something new to come your way in one of these areas. Since Pisces has a unique claim on the 12th House as its zodiacal domain, this is even more likely to be significant. The lunation comes trailing an interesting aspect pattern known as a Yod or finger of God, two of them, in fact. These comprise two quincunxes connected by a sextile, the implication of which is some fated course changes take you in a new direction. The first one includes Pluto and a conjunction between Jupiter and Venus at the base and retrograde Mars at the point or eye, as it's usually called. With Jupiter and Venus both in Pisces for this event, and considering the fact that both are benefic planets, this looks reasonably good from the start, in spite of the fact that the other partners in this aspect pattern can be less friendly. Nonetheless, Pluto, who's in your 11th House of goals, friends, organizations, and groups is busily digging things up in this part of your life, of which you are no doubt already aware. These don't have to be things that you did, personally, but you are likely to see all sorts of things coming to the light of day with regard to your friends and group associations or possibly even your goals with the chance that some of these formerly hidden issues arrive with a bit of an unpleasant smell attached. You may also be doing some serious soul-searching on this part of your life if you're less than enchanted with the status quo. Perhaps you've been hanging with the wrong people or wasting your time in an organization that isn't giving back the satisfaction you'd hoped for. Pisces have an inherent need to contribute something to society, meaning a sense of doing something meaningful is often all you're looking for, but if this isn't the case, you're probably trying to figure out a way to extract yourself from your situation. The good news is, at least as far as the sextile is concerned, is that something good is very likely to come your way as the result of whatever surfaces and this, in turn, will point you toward something to do to improve the situation. The second Yod is very similar in that it has most of the same planets except for swapping out Pluto for Saturn. Saturn is retrograde in Libra, your 8th House of transformations, sex, death, debt, and shared resources, implying something in that area needs to be restructured. Money could go either way in this situation, but with Jupiter and Venus now at the eye, it looks as if it's pointing in your direction. Another interpretation could be that you go through some sort of transformation that has a positive effect on something you're working on which then brings you benefit in some way. Think about what's going on in your life right now and you'll undoubtedly be able to figure out where it fits in. Other things to watch for with this lunation will be some inspiration regarding what needs to be done, resolved or taken care of in some manner, though this may cause a bit of a stir with the others involved. That Saturn - Pluto square is still in effect as well, and will be for quite a while to come, so, that continues to be grinding away in the background, working on what is probably the same general issue. At the least expect to see some transformational changes at a personal level that will either result in or possibly from your goals and/or group associations. The Full Moon on February 28 occurs in your sign and will especially meaningful for those of your born within a few days of that day. This will further echo through the year as it will also be part of the solar return for those folks. With Venus and Jupiter in your sign and Jupiter conjunct the Sun, this bodes rather well for the year ahead. This lunation doesn't have the outstanding features of the New Moon, but there are still a few things to watch for. Continue to watch for inspirational ideas with regard to your work or current projects. If you already know there's something that needs to be resolved, perhaps that you didn't take care of the first go-round, then keep an eye out for a positive solution that will take you in a slightly different direction. Someone close to you, perhaps from your past, could be key in that group or goal issue, and there are positive connections between your work or project and restructuring either your debt load or simply changing you in some way. A new friend, more than likely a female, is likely to come into your life as well. Be particularly conscious of safety and your health as well until the second week of June, during which time Mars is transiting your 6th House of work and health. While it's likely that this will primarily focus on your work or projects, there's also a possibility that your health may demand attention. Be especially aware of safety as well. Short-term Aspects February 5 - 7: This is a favorable time to review some of your personal beliefs, particularly as they relate to your debt load and other light topics such as sex, death, and may as well throw taxes in there as well. Something in one of those areas isn't quite right and it will have an important affect on you if you recognize it and fix it. A hint or nudge in that direction could come unexpectedly from a friend. The possibility of uncovering something related to your friends or group associations as well as any major goals is also out there along with some serious inspiration, though make sure it's not beyond the bounds of reality such as in violating the laws of physics. February 10 - 11: Be on the lookout for adjustments or course changes related to a current project or your work. Mercury enters Aquarius on the 10th, facilitating communications of an inspirational nature and sharpening your intuition and insights. Put it to good use. Venus goes into Pisces on the 11th, another fortuitous placement you should exploit for all its worth. You'll be viewed in a favorable way during this time so make it count. February 12: Adjustments or course changes at work or related to a project are afoot, probably because of something coming to light that had been covered up or hidden previously. This is also a good day for some soul-searching and getting in touch with yourself at the spiritual level. What should you be working on to become a better person? February 13: New Moon today as described above. February 14: Happy Valentine's Day! Venus is active today, as you'd expect of the Goddess of Love on "her" day. She's suggesting a few adjustments related to taking care of business with your work or health and also addressing those 8th House issues of sex, death, transformations and so forth. If you take the wheel, you'll be well-received. Inspiration is out there but you're not likely to be bounding with energy, so find some time to relax and escape, even for a short time. February 15: Anything you might like to pass on to your friends or group associates should be well-received today or even bring your financial benefit. That project continues in the forefront. February 16: This should be a very beneficial day, particularly if it's your birthday. February 18: The Sun enters your sign today, bringing his light and warmth your way along with your solar return period. February 20 - 23: Another day to watch for adjustments and course changes on the same ol' topics. Opportunities to see things you'd missed before or uncover useful information are there as well. February 27 - 28: Crazy ideas will be plentiful today as well as weird or vivid dreams. However, recognize them for what they are, akin to chasing rainbows.
