Lunations and Long-term Aspects The New Moon this month is on the 15th and occurs in Pisces, your 10th House of career, status, reputation and public image. Gemini is square this fellow Mutable Sign, indicating this may bring a situation your way that creates a bit of a stir. This is most likely for those of you with birthdays within a few days of June 18. This lunation, which is likely to bring something new into your life, comes with quite an entourage. Besides the Sun and Moon, three planets are also in Pisces, two of which, i.e. your Sign Ruler, Mercury and quirky Uranus, are conjunct each other as well as conjunct the Sun/Moon. Jupiter is there as well, lending his expansive nature for what it may be worth. With Mercury conjunct Uranus, you can expect something such as unexpected news with regard to this part of your life. It could also be disruptive, so be ready for anything. There's a lot of energy packed into Pisces that is bound to show up somewhere. The good news is that a few days before the New Moon occurs, Mars comes out of retrograde, releasing his energy in your favor. He's in Leo, your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, neighbors and siblings, where he has probably had you somewhat stuck in reverse since around Christmas. During that time you weren't making progress in this area so much as rethinking and hopefully resolving old issues that you didn't take care of the first time like you should. If you got them out of the way, then you're good to go on whatever new thing is coming your way. Whatever may be on the horizon, you will have the capabilities to think it through and determine the best way to handle it, perhaps in a very original or innovative way. Saturn is stirring things up a bit from Libra, however, where he's retrograde, which typically causes obstacles and delays. This is not always a bad thing, however, and may actually provide some sort of advantage. He's in your 5th House of ego expression, romance, children, entertainment and speculation where he's encouraging you to restructure one or more of those areas by shedding old baggage or self-defeating behaviors. He may be in the way as far as the message of the New Moon is concerned, but will ultimately be a positive influence. Gemini types aren't usually the most patient people because they like to keep moving forward and get bored easily, but this may be one of those times where you need to recognize the advantages to taking things a bit slower. Typically Gemini is very strong on logic and should be able to figure that out without too much of a brain hemorrhage. There are some significant events in progress that will have a transformational effect when all is said and done. Remember that things take time and anything of true value is going to develop over a period of time, not as a flash in the pan. The Full Moon on March 29 is in fellow Air Sign, Libra, your 5th House as noted above. This implies a culmination or ending with respect to something in this part of your life, though it may simply be the end of one phase in preparation for the next. Again, with Mars in your 3rd House of thoughts and ideas, you should be well-prepared to deal with it, whatever it might be. Opportunities are out there which are likely to come through a female colleague or friend and relate to something residing in your 9th House. Such things as higher education, relocation, beliefs, expectations and legal matters are areas to keep an eye on for whatever is going on there. This is probably a time of preparation, however, so gather data and look to the future for it to come to fruition. Daily and Short-term Aspects March 1: Focusing on your career, public image and status is called for this month with the potential for a change of course or adjustment to where you thought you were going. Mercury enters Pisces today, which will help you gather the information you need to understand what needs to be done. March 2: If your current career or status isn't synched up with your needs for creative expression or those things that you enjoy the most, start thinking about what needs to change. March 3: Expect the unexpected today with regard to something that will relate to your career, reputation or status in some manner in what should be a positive way. March 4: Today is very favorable for thinking about where you've been and where you're going. March 7: Venus goes into Aries today, a placement that will enhance your networking ability, social skills, and chances of utilizing your friends and connections to your advantage. Brainstorming with others which could ultimately result in financial benefits is particularly favored. Just because the ideas are ambitious doesn't mean they're unrealistic. Use your logical mind to do the math on what it will take. March 9: A female friend or associate may interfere with your creative goals or keep you from going in the direction you'd planned. Maintain your typical Air Sign open mind, however, as there is likely to be some validity involved that's worth considering. March 10: Mars comes out of retrograde, releasing his energy in your 3rd House of thoughts, ideas, siblings, neighbors and short journeys. Over the past several months you should have been resolving old issues in this area which will pave the way for future progress. March 11: Examine your hopes and wishes, how they're progressing, and what may need to change in your approach to get where you want to go. March 14: Keep an eye out for significant news or a bright idea related to your career. March 15: New Moon today as described above. March 17: If nothing has caught you by surprise yet with regard to your career, watch for it today. Mercury goes into Aries today, which will facilitate communications with friends and associates as well as the formulation of new ideas and goals. March 18: Your new direction may conflict with something related to your responsibilities and require restructuring them, but don't despair. Remember Yoda's wise adage to "Try not; do or do not. There is no try." March 20: The Sun enters Aries today, further enhancing and influencing your friends, associates, etc. to notice you and provide support. News or information coming from one of these individuals or related to your goals will require that you give up some old paradigms in favor of new ones or perhaps ridding yourself of something that has lost its usefulness. March 21: Another excellent day for brainstorming with friends or associates and moving forward. Emphasis on any obstacles will come forward as well, but remember, "Try not; do...." March 22: If you haven't figured out the path you need to take yet, then today's the day. March 25: Have you identified what you need to get rid of or change yet? If not, watch for it today. March 29: Full Moon as described above. March 31: Time for more adjustments and possibly a change of course. A Catch-22 is also possible, but so is the needed inspiration to get past it. Venus goes into Taurus today, bringing her blessings to your spiritual life, inspiration, enlightenment and dreams, an influence that will be in effect until April 26.
